    Wow. I wish I could go back and experience it.... also wish we could have preserved all the amazing architecture from these pre war expos... amazing!

    It's amazing that the colours of these 80-year old home movies have stood the test of time better than commercial 16mm prints that have gone pink and turquoise after just 50 years.

      Kodachrome has excellent color stability. Most of those commercial films that have gone off color were shot on Eastman Color stock.

    It looks like the fair was a little chilly. No doubt that the weather was chilly since Treasure Island is out in the middle of the bay. San Francisco is one of the few cities where the stores sell winter coats all through the year.
