      I hadn't gardened in a few years . One year I started back and 30 tomatoe plants 6' to 8' tall. They where loaded , I had really worked on the poor soil before I planted

    It doesn't really look like a single tomato,looks like a conglomerate of tomatoes that just grew together,like a chimaira.

      No it isn't, they are fused together from the very beginning before it was pollinated, it's impossible for them to join or grow together as they're growing! Have a blessed day!

    And i had people impressed with my 4# tomatoes i was growing last year.... i love growing the big ones, but i don't like how much you can't eat from them from parts being rip, parts not ripe, and parts already rotting all at once.

    My grandfather grew giant knobby tomatoes but none were quite that big. I hope you will share secrets to huge tomatoes.

      It wasn't until the last 8 years that the world record stayed at less than 8 pounds for some twenty some odd years,my first year growing I grew a WR of 8.61 lbs. and that was only the second time in 20+ years the record had been broken.

    Ive been told that is called "catfacing"
    Ive also been told they're not worth it because you cant eat a lot of the fruit itself. I think they look weird. Im not really interested in growing that type. A bunch of tomatoes in one. I want fruit that is beautiful and tastes good. I will probably pinch off all megablooms till the end of time. I dont want my plant wasting energy on something that wont be edible for the most part.
    I hope i dont come off rude. Im not trying to be. I think its interesting for sure. I wanted to see what the inside looked like 😂

      I have some heirlooms that grow that way, 3 segments max though and beautiful fruit.
      The lines in the peel are mostly superficial in mine. If an earwig gets in one of the nooks I'll have to cut away a bit more lol

    do you grow giant bell peppers as well? or sunflowers? If you do, a video on your tips and techniques for those would be great! Also along the lines of woodworking, a video on your favorite design/build on a rabbit hutch would be great!

    to niezły pomidor , czy był dopakowany jakimiś dodatkowymi nawozami czy wyrósł taki z powodu zrośnięcia się kwiatów ?

      It was one flower that was a large circle/rectangle shape. All natural compost was used in addition to other organic/natural soil supplements.

    Was this a Big tomato to begin with or did it grow that big because of the ingredients you put in your soil?

      It grew that big because of the variety and growing technique which also includes the amendments that I use. I've grown around 15 world record tomatoes in the last 7 years and nobody else has ever grown more than one in a lifetime, not bragging but just to give you an idea that it wasn't just luck that it happened 😁 blessings to you!

      He hangs them in special nets that won't damage the skin of the tomato because it's so heavy. 😊

    The world record for a tomato is 11 lbs, grown by a cpl in Minnesota.

      Yes that's the official record,since I've registered 3 world records I've since decided not to register any more,I think I grew 10 or more last year that were all bigger than the official record of 11.65 Faust. And I harvested all of them on the same day😁 nobody has ever grown more than one WR in their lifetime !

    Do we know what variety this was? I had a tomato last year that fused and became 1 massive tomato! Weighed 24.23 Oz!! The ones your dad grew would’ve made a giant pot of tomato sauce!

      All my world record tomatoes except one are domingo and the other one was a big zac.,just for your information, tomatoes cannot become fused they will not become fused if they aren't in the ovary stage! Happy growing and have a blessed day!

      The tomato grew from one large blossom. Dad has grown a number of world Record size tomatoes, all coming from large blossoms. It's not possible to somehow join multiple tomatoes or blossoms together to make one large tomato.

      I believe dad has grown over 10 new world record tomatoes in the past few years, (he was the record holder listed on Guinness for a while) and Dad's last 17.15 lb. record wasn't officially verified, but Guinness notes it on their website. The video is ample proof. God bless! 😊

      Yes it's one tomato since it is truly fused, if not fused it would be disqualified and would be considered multiple tomatoes.

      It also had 1 stem. It was not as you suggested, "truly a bunch of tomatoes fused together."
      From the beginning it had one blossom and one stem. 😊

    World records should only count for a single, flawless tomato. Not what whatever this is.

      Guinness rules are that the tomato flesh has to be fused together, not multiple tomatoes in a cluster or on the same stem. In the video I show how the tomato flesh is one continuously fused fruit all the way around the entire circumference. This tomato started as one single large circular blossom. If it were multiple tomatoes somehow joined(this is impossible) then it would have started out as multiple blossoms instead of one. Growing the largest fruits/vegetables is not a beauty contest. The biggest/heaviest is the goal. Have a blessed growing season! 😊

      It's a single tomato that's been grown from a mega blossom. This is about heaviest tomatoes not pretty
