Zabuza the first big antagonist of the series, although his time on the show was rather short he actually had a lot of undercover impact on the show. Teaching the kids how important team work truly is, showing Naruto how ruthless characters can be but yet no matter how cold they may seem they are still human and everyone possess human emotions and can change of heart, I feel like Naruto was inspired by the end actions of Zabuza and his confession for how he felt about Haku. Zabuza was a powerful Shinobi who was completely misguided by his up bringing, he had a load of potential but it was completely stunted by the hate in his heart chasing goals out of his reach instead of training. He replaced his training with just trying to hire more thugs and training Haku to be his crutch, he was never going to over throw the Mist Village simply because he wasn’t strong enough. I do believe during their meeting Zabuza and Kakashi were on equal grounds in terms of experience and strength although Kakashi won both battles Zabuza out smarted him the first fight and as Kakashi says Zabuza hesitated to strike him through Haku witch could have been a game changer if he hit Kakashi.
2 of my favorite characters were secretly good guys, 1 being Zabuza and the other Kisame. An under looked point about Kisame is his loyalty to Itachi. He shows distress about over use of sharingan and even inevitably ends up watching over Itachi while he recovers. Most of his actions in the end benefitted the leaf.
Besides Kisame worked for Akatsuki because Yagura told him to so he actully he was doing anything for his Village like Itachi he killed traitors in his village and i rlly love Kisame and Itachis bond its like their a married couple ^•^

Zabuza is easily one of my Top 5 favorite characters. Just because I loved the way he was written and portrayed. This cold blooded assassin that only cared of his objective, then after Naruto’s speech you see Zabuza’s human side with compassion and drive to avenge his dear friend Haku.

Given how powerful Zabuza was, and the fact Haku was around, you'd think he would be working for someone a bit more powerful and important than a gangster in a small land. He was a jonin from a major village, former ANBU, and a legendary swordsman. I know it's early Naruto, but that's still short selling the guy.
What else would he be. What other options would he have after he tried to assassinate his country's leader. He trying to get enough money to fund a revolution, and he a most wanted criminal, a gangster doing murder for hire is exactly what he would be.

Zabuza and Haku were such sad characters in the sense of how their stories ended! I literally cried! But what’s so heartwarming is that they molded team 7 into the peoole we know them today! The death of Zabuza and Haku gave naruto his ninja way!! And can we talk about how strong zabuza and Haku really are???!! Zabuza was the only bad guy besides Madara to solo an army!! And come out mostly on top!! 😭😭 and Haku being stronger than Zabuza he’s definitely Kage level!

Zabuza and Haku were such sad characters in the sense of how their stories ended! I literally cried! But what’s so heartwarming is that they molded team 7 into the peoole we know them today! The death of Zabuza and Haku gave naruto his ninja way!! And can we talk about how strong zabuza and Haku really are???!! Zabuza was the only bad guy besides Madara to solo an army!! And come out mostly on top!! 😭😭 and Haku being stronger than Zabuza he’s definitely Kage level!
