Cracking video Stephen, yep it can get cold. I have a cup of tea before bed, a woolly hat on and hot water bottle at my feet as with age and blood condition I feel the cold. Enjoy your camping and thank you.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 😁 great tips! Enjoy your camping too and thanks for leaving a comment 👍🏻
I dig your soundtrack.
Thanks! I appreciate your comment 🤙🏻
Love your films steve oh and the music thanks
Thanks Ian 🙂
I've been waiting for this video, thank you. I nervously watched you carry your keys across that bridge at the start - a cliff hanger in the first 30sec🤣
I haven’t noticed that before, yikes! I won’t do that again 😂 Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Nice one Steven, great to see the sunshine at last, bike looks brilliant, keep them coming 👍
Yeah the weather turned out great. Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Great watch looked like the tent did a great job sun scenery and a great bike shame it was just a bit to cold for you but as you say a warmer bag would have finished things off nicely I am sure , well done much enjoyed cheers👌👍
Yes it was a nippy one so will try a warmer sleeping bag for sure. Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Very nice vid! I know the work it takes to produce it. Cheers from Germany 🇩🇪
It’s a challenge but well worth it for the buzz. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Enjoyed this video, thankyou. I must get my bike upto the Yorkshire Dales some time. I’m a regular visitor to the Kirkby Lonsdale area but never on the bike.
M&S food eh? Posh picnicking!!!!
Glad you enjoyed the video 😄 definitely go if you can and check out the village of Hawes to see lots of other bikes then head to Buttertubs Pass. Haha yes the M&S range of picnic bits is really good 👍🏻
Great video mate!!
Thanks!
Great vid, that's another subscriber. Just one tip, I wouldn't be using the stove on your groundsheet.
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
Cool. Your Bonneville looks great and nice set up with the Wingman.
Was this Wharf campsite just outside Kettlewell or the one in the town itself?
Maybe you can get the extra little bit of warmth you need by using a thermal liner? For my summer bag, I have a cotton RAB liner and then outside this another thermal liner if it is a particularly chilly night which the both together probably give the bag another 6-7C that I can go down to before I feel the cold. I also have a lightweight down jacket and gilet if I get totally caught out by a really cold night. Of course if the night is not quite so cold I can just not use the summer bag and cotton liner or any combination really, and if properly warm just use the cotton liner on it's own. I do have a warmer down sleeping bag for early or late in the season when there might be frosts. It's all about having gear that gives you options. But sun on the tent in the morning after a cold night is very welcome.
ATB.
It was kettlewell camping campsite in kettlewell. It’s a nice site and if you go during the week, it will be much quieter compared to the weekend.
The thermal liner is a excellent idea! I haven’t thought of those. Thanks for leaving a comment 👍🏻
@@surfingsteven1624 Thanks for making your videos!
Is it possible to do a 2-up road trip on the t100? With luggage without a shelter? What do you think?
@@marteriamarterium2564 You could certainly do a 2-up road trip on the T100 but it’s perhaps not the best machine for the job in my opinion. For a one-off shorter trip, why not! But for a touring trip, long distance I would prefer a larger machine. Recently I’ve been looking at something like the Honda Pan European because they’re quite affordable now and will do the miles quite comfortably 2-up with luggage. For solo long distance touring, the T100 is fine. I find with the T100 it’s a good all rounder. It’s never going to be the best for touring, or the fastest, or most nimble machine on 2 wheels but it does everything ok and looks the business 😉 hope that helps! Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
@@surfingsteven1624 thank you for your answer! it is all i needed to know and keep up the good work! i am new to your channel but I will stay around!
