Not sure if it's the same as the UK but our garages aren't big enough to allow a modern car. The majority are just full of rubbish, when it could be an office/storeroom. Top video. 👍
I would say your white board is more then a 1percent thing right. It holds you accountable and keeps track of your business. I think it's a great thing your doing. And I love watching your videos 😊
Some great lessons in this video. Are the consoles heavy to post, I’m asking because I don’t have any? Not something I thought of buying. I like the footage from the markets, looks like you picked up some real bargains there. Good to see Courtney participating in your videos more.
"Confidence follow action" is about the same as the rule I know which is "motivation follows action" you need to push hard to make that first effort then it all becomes easier once you've made even a small amount of progress. The foil to this is that a lot of people will always wait until they feel inspired or motivated enough to start something new, but that never actually comes on its own until you start taking steps towards the goal yourself.
trying to cull some of my items (Books) to concentrate on getting more involved into other Media formats. Not easy sometimes when no-one else wants to buy them lol
Agree with you on the hats - even the 2000s heavily embroidered racing caps don’t move like they used to. Unless it’s ed hardy, affliction or vintage Aussie surfwear I’m leaving it.
You're selling yourself short on the consoles.... Especially the PS3s... they are generic cables. Hdmi and a 2 prong power cable, older model ones are just the generic computer power supply cable, many electronics use these Can get the cables at every thrift.
Sorry had to say it as it's my go to turrets word. Yeahhhhhhh. Courtney says Yeahhhh. Can someone put together a megamix of the Courtney answering all the questions with yeahhhh, mixed to some techno :) :)
I've auctioned off wwf wwe figures in bundles of 5. I did very very well. Don't have to individually look up figures and some go for more and people will drop the bids on it
Wait till you have kids hehe. The simple life of flipping will be over red rover. That is why i had a vasectomy so I can save 95% of my weekly profits.
You will do so much better if you reduce DVDs to zero % of your inventory. Good for newbies. Should be evolving. Less work more $. we run on average 200-260 items at any one time. Average sale price is $88 for March April 187 items sold. No listings less than $30. Same categories as you, minus shoes DVDs and any clothes. IMO these items are for beginners.
To call a certain category a beginners category is madness IMO. Sell through rate and profit are the only 2 indicators you need to consider and if they’re ticking off both of those then the category is good. I believe DVDs sit very firmly in that category no matter how long you’ve been selling….
You said it yourself. Cheap items taking up space, not paying their way. 2 people, Fulltime, 4000 items sold. Only 130k in revenue. Fundamentally you know how to run the business well. Source, list ship etc. You should donate the hats and dedicate the space to new categories, ones that give you bigger bang for buck. Call it the learning shelf or whatever. You business will boom if you shift focus away from the “bread and butter” hats shoes and DVDs” Think of the uptick you had when you dumped selling clothes? Same will happen when you break away from these mass categories.
Pls do a vlog about how you do inventory and paying taxes 😊 thanks!
I would also see more diverse content about the reseller job.

Awesome office / storeroom for sure! I park my car out the front
Attenborough spot on🎉

Usually about $20 or so to ship the consoles. Not too bad
Is the 130000 before or after postage costs, cost off goods, Courtney's wage etc.
Revenue :)
Hi Matt, do you every sell games without the covers? I got a whole bunch but they don't have their cases.
I do but rarely and not for a ton of money unfortunately
What gets measured, gets results, is one of my favourites🎉
Love that
Love the idea of the 1%
From little things big things grow!😊
Absolutely!
What do y’all do with items that you “cull?” Do you mark them down to get rid of them or do you sell them elsewhere?
Mark down and then flea market garage sale or donate

Gotta take the first step!

Thanks!
Have you ever thought about buying a disc resurfacer/cleaner? Do you think it would be worth it? Just curious 🤔
I think if I was larger scale I would 1000% do it
@TheAussieFlipper that was my thinking to, thanks!
How much do you usually pay on postage for bulk games lot you sell, like say 10 games or so?
Usually works out to $20 for 20-30 game lot bundles
if you were to niche down to one type of item what would it be?
Video games without question
@@TheAussieFlipper good choice for sure, can sell for good money & such easy shipping.
Did you end up getting a storage shed for the backyard?
Nope not yet! Still plan too
So organised! Great video thanks for sharing
Hey Mate!
Love your videos.
Quick question. Any reason why you don’t sell on Amazon fba?
It’s something I haven’t looked too heavily into. I also don’t sell new products.
yeah i have also stopped buying hats. they dont even sell for me, they just sit there and when one does sell most the time im making like 3 or 4 bucks
Yeah slow mover I just love them
Yeah I've had a 2000s tooheys 5 seeds visor for sale for awhile with nil views or watchers
you nailed david attenborough
What is the buffy thing on the shelf looks like OZ on it 5 minutes into the video
Yeah it’s an Oz statue bust

Amen
Searching for wolfenstein 2009 ps3 do you have this game
Unfortunately not
Can you please keep me posted if you do

Was thinking the same, cables are so easy to get, why wouldn't you test them?

I noticed you didn’t pick up the old dial rotary telephone. It may not be your category but I’ve made decent profit on them.
Interesting! Just a complete lack of knowledge on my part!
Hey how do we sell from New Zealand. Shipping is a headache!
I live in Australia
@@TheAussieFlipper Yes I know was wandering if you have advice

wrestling figures lots are so goood on ebay. They always sell and I always buy lots. Theyre definitely a good investement
Looking forward to swapping it over
Could you show your profits as well as sales?
I could yeah
Does Courtney get a cut from RUclips? She has become in integral part of your videos lately. 🤔
She’s paid on an hourly wage
Oh damn I was thinking about buying Ash vs evil dead off you! oh well you snooze you lose
Quick mover for sure man!
Wait till you have kids hehe. The simple life of flipping will be over red rover. That is why i had a vasectomy so I can save 95% of my weekly profits.
Love the hustle but dang some people like ugly shoes
No more hats???
Maybe not!!
Just bundle your wrestling figures & possibly even your hats & you’ll get rid of them quickly
For sure! will be doing it this week thanks for watching
I’ve sold heaps of bundles of wrestling figures, just bundle 6 at a time.
Absolutely! Don’t know why we hadn’t jumped in to do that sooner! Should sell quick

Good idea getting rid of low ticket items with australia post ripping everyone off. I like the idea of $35 average sale price.
When is the onlyfans starting?
It isn’t
