If you want to upgrade tough decisions need making you can get 30 mill for the keeper 20 for Morton and I’d personally sell Curtis for 35-40 There’s 80 million straight up
I would also love to swap Luis Diaz for Eze as well. I think if Fabio Carvalho isn't loaned out this season he could thrive under Arne as well. Also agree that Jota needs to be starting over Nunez. Jota is too clincial to be left out. I think a double pivot of Bajectic and MacAllister would actually be quite good as well.
I love Williams but I agree with Chris , we cant go 40-50 Million on a transfer AND 200K plus/week for a youngster no matter how good. The rest of the squad would be lined up at the door with their contracts in their hands expecting serious money.
Should mainly be Szobo and Elliott; Jota should be main striker, macallister 8, Salah on the right, Jones 8 when he plays, Carvalho it seems can cover a few positions but not sure right now. A lot of those players either aren’t really 10s or will need to start elsewhere. Think bit of a problem is amount of 8s
Why are we saying Rice or Rodri.. Rice isnt a 6 Arteta hasnt been playing him in a 6 in any of the big games this season and Arsenal fans are saying they need a DM
@jakecolleran10 I know he's agreed a deal, I would (and think we should) try to hijack the move, but it won't happen. Think we've missed a trick on that one!
@@ricardowood997 agreed mate, every week that goes by I get more and more concerned as we need at least 3-4 players in my opinion. Olise would’ve been a brilliant signing, just hope we get it right with the players we hopefully do bring in
Chris spends a lot of time with Josh Williams on Deep Dive. He has learned nothing, we will not bring players in who are getting on in age, especially with Edwards back in the room
No one is selling Jota?? I get that Diaz is probably the most valuable player to sell. But Jota's injury record man... I just wanna see some other team lament the fact he's their best finisher while he's on their treatment table.
The Hungarian Steven Gerrard lol i also got carried away szoboz is nowhere near Stevie g thsts not even a bad thing because Gerrard was just next level
Your a football fan worrying about wage structure why ? if Edwards and co are ok with it its not coming out your bank account, fsg have really turned fans into Halifax accountants
Possibly but he's currently on £172,500 a week apparently which is clearly nuts but there's some room for maneuver there. Admittedly not much but if you could get him on a 5 year contract for £200,000 with performance bonuses etc that's doable. Also in 5 years time, 200k will probably be the going rate amazingly enough. However, with all that said, it's just so not Liverpool & I can't see it happening but someone will snap him up for sure.
@@ragerider6283 why are Liverpool fans worrying about wages if the club want him and pay his wages what does it matter. We are not fsg accountants I cant believe what I'm seeing it's not your money we are supposedly one of the richest clubs in the world and we have fans calculating player wages like we are some mid table team
@@nglforbes Believe it. You've missed the point entirely. I am also fully aware it's not my money thanks & I wasn't calculating anything or being an FSG accountent. I was giving a quick arbitrary example of how the wages weren't necessarily a deal breaker. Regardless, if you're going to speculate on transfers, you have to use common sense & assess the likelihood of this or any other deal happening based on our history under FSG. You may not like it but this is real life & it isn't like playing FIFA so the reality is that first & foremost FSG are very cautious about balancing the books. They don't mind a big transfer fee now & again but they equally don't like big wages & especially not for young players. It's right in front of you & you've got a short memory if you've forgotten the Salah saga already. He's on £350k a week which is far & away the highest earner at the club by over 100k a week. He's also in his 30's & has been a fantastic servant to the club so you could say he's earned it. Ironically my post was actually saying how it IS possibly to get Williams but I'm also a realist & it clear how the club works. Ask yourself why we didn't get Haaland. He cost £52 million, no problem,....but City also pay him £375k a week before bonuses. FSG's wealth is predominantly tied up in assets & not liquid cash & they never put their hands in their own pocket. Ever. Disappointing in some respects but it also means that FFP violations aren't a concern for us & that is why Liverpool fans are "calculating" players wages.
@@ragerider6283 we are well within the ffp regulations we can spend more than most clubs without punishment if we wanted too. That isn't really my issue we have let go of quite a few players like matip and thiago off the wage bill and god willing Adrian freeing up wages. We will find out in due course what the club is going to do regarding transfers. All I need is the quality of transfers to return to what it was when Edwards was last here I'm not interested about price wages just bring in quality. The players / recruitment brought in recently under klopp and ljinders in replacement of mane firminio wjinaldom fab isn't really going to win you a champions league, premier league as it stands. Every now and again you need a Alison van dyke signing. Madrid have won a champions league and won the Spanish league what did they do go get mbappe and are looking at Trent aswell that's called ambition. We can be ambitious within our own means. And Liverpool fans calculating wages is just a sad state of affairs I wonder how many top clubs in Europe have fans that are doing this only under fsg could this happen
How can Elliott play in the 10 when he's a heavily left footed player? His right foot is barely used. He's also lacking in strength and easy to bully him off the ball
Almost everyone's team included a new recruit at LW when that is literally our most stacked position. Also, a new Dutch coach is coming in and Gakpo has barely even had a chance to play there but looks great whenever he does (including tearing up the euros).. Feel like we've got much bigger issues on the right but no one seems to admit/acknowledge it
Personally think we won’t sign any of these & anyone relying on Jota and Konate staying fit. Endo, Elliot and Bajetic won’t win you a prem title ! And why are you all picking Salah ?
I think he's a level above Clark. He's got more experience and has more strings to his bow. Clark needs a loan, could come back good enough or good enough to be sold for a decent amount
My transfer list would be Alt Nouri, Mbeumo - Kathellen, Meidema, Morris, Cascarino / Robinson, Earps My X1 predictions for both First Teams with current players would be Kelleher /Jaros, Trent/Bradley, Gomez/Philips, Konate/Quansah, Robertson, Mac Allister/Bajcetic/Clark, Szobo/Jones/Endo, Elliot, Carvalho, Koumas/Jota, Danns/Nùñez/Gakpo - Micah/Kirby, Parry, Bonner, Clark/Silcock, Fisk, Hinds, Nagano/Lundgaard, Holland, Höbinger/Kearns, Kiernan/Enderby, Haug.
