What pedals would you recommend for the rhythm guitar sound?

Thank you for the question. I'm personally not a pedal user guy so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
It depends whether you are gonna play palm muted rhythm or just strum without muting. If you go with palm mutes I would recommend to get one of the tube screamers: mooer (cheapest and does a job), ibanez, maxon. Cause they help with tightness a lot.
If you go with open palm rhythm I would advice boss blues driver, od808 or klon centaur (I mean cheap copy).
What also might help is a compressor pedal.
