Sean Connery truly makes me proud to be Scottish - always very generous and humble in his praise of others, which is what a true gentleman should always be. To think he is in the same company as the likes of De Niro, Pacino and so many other Hollywood greats, truly a remarkable achievement for a man from Edinburgh, who left school at 13 with no proper qualifications, and he still remains humble. Not too many of that kind around these days, unfortunately.

Just found out this legendary man died at 90 years old. I’ve been watching all his movies since I was a kid from “The Untouchables” to “ The Hunt For Red October”. One of the greatest actors of all time shall rest in ✌️
outland is a lesser known movie of his but def worth a watch, the ending of the rock movie is how I'll rmr him with that beautiful music.

As a Scottish person, I can truly say, Sean Connery's is truly the sexiest I have ever known the Scottish accent to be. I mean, never in the whole history of mankind has the word "pussy" sounded so sexy as when it comes out of the mouth of Sean Connery.

why do we hold athletes & musicians in such high esteem? in the grand scheme, of course, their actions mean very little. but these people are at the center of experiences that bring many of us together. how many of us have been powerfully moved by al's performances in films we've all seen & loved? how many of us have come together to celebrate a great performance in a super bowl? or an album of music that stands the test of time? these people do things that help us enjoy being alive. that's why.
