Bake California the gateway to Death Valley National Park. Driving thru this small town on a beautiful sunny day. Town located between Barstow and Las Vegas on I-15.
Lived in Baker in the 80s…SBSD resident deputy housing…there was no stop/go light, out of 300 residents only 75 registered voters due to many folks past, and the Pike resturaunt and Bun Boy we’re the fancy places to eat. I did see the mad Greek was still open. Baker has grown and gotten a bit shishi since back in the day LOL…. thanks for the video!!

During summer runs to Vegas, I always enjoy seeing what the temperature is on the giant thermometer in baker.
Yep, during summer it can get to 120 degrees even more!
