This year my health has been pretty bad, been stuck in hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. These videos allowed me to escape from where i am physically at and knowing they come out once a week gave me something to look forward to. Great job in 2015, already looking forward to the 2016 season just a few short months away and back to the greenery right of the Mississippi.
+Freewayjim Awesome videos FreewayJim keep it UP! and by the way are u quitting RUclips? becuase if you are I just wanted to say I liked your videos! so yea good job
+Sam Smith That's just the end of the season, thus the title "SEASON FINALE"...I'll have a new video coming this Monday from a day trip I took last October. It takes time and money to go out and film things. I've never posted videos all 52 weeks in a year, let's get real, lol.
The New Orleans segment shows that somebody out there is still driving one of those Malaise Era land yachts. Given that Malaise Era cars were so prone to rust and reliability problems, it's amazing that something from that era still survives.
It's better than driving yourself and you can see places I might never actually get to go to.thank you for making such a trip possible.i appreciate all your work in producing this video.you do it exceptionally well
Lambs love that vintage T-Bird, plenty of room for lambs to fit in it! We think the In-Ko-Pah grade looks like the moon. Not much for us to eat there. We concur with the Seals and Croft song "We Never Pass This Way Again" was completely appropriate for the Nevada area. It may be years before you get back. That decent into Wendover was amazing. Glenwood Canyon never disappoints! My species loves how you showed Topeka Kansas! So much to watch and love! Now you need to film US 15 between Williamsport PA and Corning NY, and stop by the Dunkin Donuts in Wellsboro PA and visit this lamb on the midnight shift. 😉
Toi aussi la video n'est pas disponible ? Sorry but the video is not available in france :( If yours prévious videos is a very nice as alway :) sorry for my wrong english.
Just incredible! Very nice ride and all- loved the night views and all- and seeing the Stan Musial Bridge at night- legend- wait for it- DARY! Very nice ride! Cannot wait to see what future travels you have and where you end up! I cannot wait for the next season and all! This is one of your opus vids!
I love your videos, because they show off so much of the American Western landscape, but they make me yearn for it too! Skipping out on the yearly trip with my fiancee to Colorado for a honey moon in Hawaii instead!
I like your varied taste in music. Seals and Crofts...I'm a goner. Hummingbird is my favorite song from that duo. The videos are quite good too. I've relived memories and been inspired to travel because of your videos.
Wow, I mean Wow, Ultimately awesome! I enjoyed every stage of this video Jim, Once I clicked the (full screen) icon and plugged in my headphones, it was a phenomenal ride. 7000 miles, isn't anything to sneeze at, but you achieved it like a boss! Without sounding corny, you package these videos wonderfully, and your music selection fit each stage of the journey. I would love if you produced more videos like this one, but I know it would be time consuming and strenuous, but man this was very entertaining! (GREAT VIDEO JIM)!!
Thank you so much James, I like to do these longer videos for special occasions (like a season finale for example) which is what keeps them special, and hopefully memorable.
I understand the sentiment, and you make awesome viewing events, because they play longer than the usual 3-to4 minute videos, your work is exceptional and I guess I'm being greedy, so you continue to make your (memorable videos) the way you see fit, I'm loving the experience !!!!
This video certainly provided the attentive attraction to keep me focus in viewing this video, it was difficult to turn away, your precision on judgment is on point! Outstanding video, bottom line, Awesome vid!!!!!!
Great season🙌🏽😍 never realized how dense SF's skyline is! Been a Ride Along fan since 2009! All of my freeway knowledge comes from you Jim! Haha ready to see what you have in store for your fans!
Thanks for the highlights, JIm. Much more interesting than the Daytona Beach to Annapolis trip I did last weekend, whose only really interesting parts are Jacksonville, Richmond, and the southeast quadrant of the Capitol Beltway. I even took US 301 south back to Richmond to change things up a bit. I really miss the West's interesting roads.
Golly me, that Bay Area portion was just so San Francisco-like BECAUSE OF THE SONG CHOICE. Do you have anything else I can follow you on other than Facebook? How do I support your content?
Thank you for giving Topeka it's 2 minutes of time. Sorry about the drive that pulled in front of you at the toll plaza with no blinker. They drive just as crazy down south and out west as we do here in the last part of your video. No blinkers, cutting in front of people, etc.
At the beginning of your first clip here, a rare late 70's Thunderchicken is amongst the traffic. I didn't think there were any of that style Thunderchickens left. BMP

Epic season. My faves were Houston, San Francisco, I-15 in Cajon Pass, I-80 in the Wendover Area and especially Glenwood Canyon. Where are you off to next?
You should do a street tour of downtown, travel VA 267 west to Dulles airport (that road is similar to GA 400), US 50 from the beltway to over the Chesapeake bay bridge and downtown Annapolis which is a great little city.
You should do a tour of the Midwest and northwest. That you way you can get Chicago, the twin cities, the rocky mountains ,seattle and portland. Plus any other intresting points along the way.
I actually have a question, when you were recording what settings were you using? like frames per second and stuff like that. I'm guessing 30 because of the hard drive in the equipment thing.

Have a blessed day Freewayjim
+Maria Mendez No, no, no, this was the SEASON finale for 2015....I'm in the midst of a four video mini-series from a daytrip I took last October (new video coming Monday) and I'll have new material after my Summer trip in July (not sure where I'm going yet).

Great footage! The fact that 1978-1979 Ford Thunderbird is still running and interstate ready was the highlight of New Orleans!
Thank you!
I noticed that also....thought I was the only 1....always wanted 1 of those, or a Mercury Cougar

This is my dream right here. To drive in all the States one day. I will live through you until I can actually live out my dream.
I was 52 when I finally did it (just the 48 contiguous) so I'm betting you have plenty of time to get that done, and it is worth doing.
Watched this at home in theater style. Magnificent!

This was a really good video
Thank you very much!
I actually have a question, when you were recording what settings were you using? like frames per second and stuff like that. I'm guessing 30 because of the hard drive in the equipment thing.
Thank you!
We use 60 Frames per second at 1080p, basically, the maxed out, highest quality settings the camera can do.
Bravo!!!
Rappin-4-Tay...yeah!
+PelicanGuy Thank you!
You must be tired! This video is great! Maybe a Minecraft project of the highways? :-)

How can an expressway be a business route? I thought that business routes are the slower version with the lower speed limits and numerous intersections. The freeway alignment is the mainline route or a bypass route.
Fantastic!!
+97a4 Thanks!
I like the lit up stars on the underpasses and the big star on the hill there in El Paso. What is that on the road at 19:39?
+Trans Canada Phil Yes, love those...that would be a bag of trash.
At the beginning I thought this was an old video because I saw that old Ford Thunderbird.I guess it was a 72/73 model. My mother had the '72 model.
Just fantastic. Thank you for this, and all the others.
