Funny enough when some opera singers react to something and ....they have absolutely no idea how somebody can do that without proper training. They go to anatomy. If and when they are trained to know how sound comes out, good for them. Yea what ever...tommy is huge, Hannes is tall (sabaton) i'd say 190cm so tommy would be 1.95cm...yea, we don't use somebody's arms or feet or fridges or alligators to measure something. We use metric system...just had to say that 😉
Not really sure what the height has to do with it, i'm 6'3 and i have no chance of hitting any notes similar to him with anywhere near that kind of projection, meanwhile - one of my best friends is like 5'6 and he can do this same kind of thing, maybe not quite as refined, but definitely with just as much power and hitting all the same notes 💁 just takes a LOT of practice and training. He's clearly done everything as close to correctly as possible

Tommy will never disappoint you...prepare to be blown away every.single.time you hear Tommy sing! And, btw, he plays all the instruments and arranges the songs... Tommy began playing guitar at 8, singing at 14...but the cheeky looks...girl...he's a Scorpio! I can hit most of Floor's notes, fully warmed up...but Tommy is in another league! BTW, Tommy is 6'5" of pure Swedish Viking power!
He certainly has the belting technique down pat (mostly resonating of his front teeth, good breath control and lots of power) and he can add a good amount of distortion if needed. But I wouldn't compare him to Floor. Floor is the master of many different techniques and she uses that great arsenal of hers to express and convey her emotions. In that regard she is in a different league than most singers, including Tommy, as good as he is.
Don't you love swedish viking power. Tommy has an exceptional range up high. And Scorpios are great..I am one too. Actually warmed up I can reach that high but I have to go fully to my headvoice. In mixed...no chance

But over time I began to discover other musical universes, which sometimes intersect, and sometimes intertwine in unexpected ways. Everything evolves around the Metal genre, although the differences are sometimes enormous. Sabaton appeared independently of Nightwish, but their musical paths crossed several times, resulting in interesting collaborations. As far as I know, Floor has at least 2 consistent collaborations with Sabaton (The Future of Warfare - Soundtrack Version and Christmas Truce - ending credits), and Tommy Johansson participated in the orchestration and instrumental interpretation of some of Floor's covers from lockdown.

In these years since I have been consistently listening to Nightwish's music, I first understood that they have created a real musical universe. But over time I began to discover other musical universes, which sometimes intersect, and sometimes intertwine in unexpected ways. Everything evolves around the Metal genre, although the differences are sometimes enormous. Sabaton appeared independently of Nightwish, but their musical paths crossed several times, resulting in interesting collaborations. As far as I know, Floor has at least 2 consistent collaborations with Sabaton (The Future of Warfare - Soundtrack Version and Christmas Truce - ending credits), and Tommy Johansson participated in the orchestration and instrumental interpretation of some of Floor's covers from lockdown.

He's not a bad boy.Tommy is an adorable,wonderful,sweet Imp who can sing anything and play like 10 instruments. He's just so playful while he's making these videos. Which he does all by himself. Editing,playing the instruments and singing. He's an awesome guy.
I can totally relate to to your reaction. My first Tom y song was a christmas song o helga natt wich is the Swedish version of o holy night and he just blew me away. I have been on the Tommy wagon ever since and can't get off. He is an absolute amazingly insanely talented guy and that Swedish viking look....very easy on the eyes too😍. Seriously I don't see anyone out there who is so good as Tommy is. He should be a uperstar...although I am glad he is not. He is such a nice down to earth guy . I would like to keep him that way
Hi, nice that you like his voice and appearance. But you should follow his page. Because there you will be completely yourself as he has a voice regeist that is out of this world!. He plays both bass, keyboard, guitar, drums and he more or less produces everything himself. He is in a band in Sweden called Sabbaton, they play viking rock! Roughly like heavy power food

Tommy is a very talented multi instrumentalist and singer extraordinaire. Tommy has his own group Majestica, where he is lead singer. With Sabaton he generally only does backing vocals (unbelievable) and as you stated one of the lead guitarists. Of course I guess you know, Sabaton, is the group Floor’s husband (Hannes van Dahl) plays drums for. Quite the rabbit hole with those groups and individual covers. ❤️🤘🎻🇦🇺. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You Raise Me Up" is a song originally composed by the Norwegian-Irish duo Secret Garden. The music was written by Secret Garden's Rolf Løvland, and the lyrics by Brendan Graham back in 2001. Josh Groban sing it in 2003, 2 year later than Secret Garden. Secret Garden win the Eurovision with another song called nocturne.
