"A boy has the right to dream" in 2003 I thought nothing of that statement. It probably sounded cheesy then. But in 2023....... the world we live in....it's powerful and every young man better know it!!
This bump was engraved into my memory and has been giving me feels over 9000 before I had even hit double digits. Still hits just as hard about to be turning 25.
@@claytonyoung9941 ruclips.net/video/3s7Gkeh3DKE/видео.html You ever see the updated one, it was directed at us who saw it as children. Hit me hard as well.
I have probably never met any of you, but I consider all of us that grew up having this play in our heads on repeat since the day we first heard it siblings in spirit. I hope that my siblings that I have never met have grown up well, and that you are still exercising your right to dream
I feel like this line from Hot Ice Hilda gave Gene the kick in the pants he needed, and I need to hear it now and then too. Of all the excellent motivation spots Toonami has given us this one is probably my favorite.
Look at the messages they sent back then to you men as opposed to today. This promo teaches you to dream and walk your own path and find your own way to become a man. Now it’s all about finding your sexuality and being pushed to question your manhood. Just as this affected or childhood those same messages will affect the next but not in a great way like toonami did and 90s-early 2000s anime’s did BTW Outlaw Star is one of the best anime’s ever made
The way this hits at 30.

A Boy has a right to Dream.

It's still getting to me at 34
The amount of hope I was filled with as a child from watching this...
I still think of the messages this gave as a child. It's silly but I'm 27 and still feel nostalgic and hopeful seeing this.
@@sadaesthetic8043 i feel pure depression especially after watching and finishing outlaw star
