@@amonrodriguez3518 I really don’t think we need to now with Bubic in the bullpen and our outfielders drastically improving, rather just keep our current squad and call up guys from Omaha like Pennington and Lynch if we really need to. But I think we have a solid bullpen now with Long, Zerpa, Bubic, and Will Smith and McArthur being more consistent lately they’ll be fine, really no need to trade now

Zerpa is not a good pitcher my friend. And McArthur is not a great closer if you are up by less than 3-4 runs.

As a Royals fan, always cool to see "The Wizard" Ozzie Smith speaking before the game. He is a Cardinal for life and always appreciate him as a fan :) As far as the two games, wow, we got the bats going at the right times and held on. We needed this after fizzling in a depleting fashion in Colorado. Boston series on the horizon. Hopefully we can keep it going.

I'm a Royals fan unless they play the Cardinals. My Grandparents lived in St. Louis. Missouri teams all the way. Do love a good I-70 WS. Glad it doesn't happen very often.

Royals sweep in the doubleheader against the Redbirds. Salvador Perez showing he's the Royals' Capitan. Against the Red Sox will be interesting since they're battling for Wild Card spots

It's going to be tough. Boston has been playing such good ball lately overall. They run a lot, steal a lot, have good pitching. Hopefully we can keep this momentum from today heading into that series.

What the Cardinals have pitching wise just isn’t good enough and until management stops settling for mediocrity nothing will change as whatever the Cardinals are right is enough in management’s eyes. Which is a shame for a franchise that prides itself on being a winning ballclub.

People take notice im not a royals fan but there starting pitching goes 4 to 5 deep scary they just need some more offense maybe a good relief and they will be dangerous
I agree. We need some help with the bats and especially relief at the end of the game, but starting pitching has overall been such a big part of our success. Hopefully it can continue. This was a big "series" for us heading soon to Boston.

Salvy is hitting well again because massey is protecting him in the order again. This team goes as salvy goes, so in essence, we need to keep massey healthy

@@damac5136 who says he has to have a track record? A coach will tolerate that so much before they're escorted to the locker room to be talked to. Contreras was lucky this game that he didn't get ejected for throwing his bat like he did.
@@balbarith45 Uh, fortunately coaches don't think like you still do. Professional players don't need babysitters. If you don't know the importance a track record of "bad" behavior has to play, then please spare us your opinions or, for Godsakes, your attempted argumentation. It's simply painful to read.
Looking forward to see the KC team when they come to Fenway. Both teams have several young, exciting players. Should be a great series.
