this was my favorite soccer game, I spent hundreds of dollars and hours playing this gem. This game came out in Japan Months prior the US release, so I customized my GameCube in order to play the Japanese version. By far the most detailed Fans you will ever see in a soccer game, wish Sega could come back with a next gen edition.
@@zhooahahah1133 I just watched some videos about Virtua Striker 2 and 3. Seems like in the 2nd version (Arcade/NAOMI and Dreamcast versions) the narrator virtually screams goal in a very freaky way, should be named Virtua Screamer 2, lol. Actually this is a reason for me to avoid the 2nd version, it just sounds odd. In Virtua Striker 3 on Gamecube it sounds wayyy more natural when someone hits a goal. Same with Virtua Striker 4 on Arcade.

This ws definitely a step backwards compared to the previous releases. The animations suck.
