Science Compliance how is it not. You’re here, replying to someone’s comment under another person’s post. Posts have likes and dislikes. And you have subscribers (followers) and people you subscribe to (following). What’s the difference between this and your social media app?
I bought my first computer in 1995 when I was 38 years old, I got into the internet originally in the hopes of lessening my ignorance as I had foreseen the endless possibilities to learn more about a myriad number of subjects that interested me. But I never in my life thought that I would learn just how easily led people could be, and it really frightens me. I have an FB account, but rarely will you find me on it, similarly, I have no use, nor the desire to use, instagram, twitter, tik tok, etc. Social media has never enhance my life, I have absolutely no interest in the minute by minute details of anyone's life, I neither care about moronic pet tricks, (either animal or human), I give less than a shit about what people either like or dislike, what's currently trending, or in buying the newest electronic enslavement device. I don't care where you've been, much less where you're going, and unless you have an intelligent or valid opinion about ANYTHING, I have no interest in that either. Since those opinions seem to be based on the premise that it's what everyone else on FB, instagram, twiiter, reddit, etc. has been told to believe. I originally got into the internet to learn subjects that interested me, people that I wanted to learn more about, and to gain as much knowledge as I could to further enhance, or add to, my job skills, and life skills as well. But over the last 25 years I've come to learn just how incredibly stupid, (not to mention gullible & ignorant), the human race has become a whole, it's horribly self evident in the lack of general intelligence, the abscence on basic common sense, and the increasingly poor grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills that people exhibit on a daily basis. I dislike the fact that people have fewer & fewer interpersonal skills in dealing with anyone else on a face to face basis, and the total lack of actual real world skills that people no longer have, They simply can't function without having their ear, or face glued to their cell phone, I-Pad, laptop, or whatever device it is that they can't seem to live without. I can only imagine the rapid demise of the human race that's going to occur when the eventual collapse of the power grids that exist across the planet finally happens, and it will happen.........
I was going to write something similar, but you spelled it out perfectly. The people I care about call or text and never use facebk to communicate with me. All I seem to get is mindless stuff from people I don't even know. What a waste of life.
This was the best lesson on how to completely delete face book I have come across, This man explained it in layman’s terms and I was about to actually completely get rid of the forsaken face book account. I permanently deleted my facebook 41 days ago and it's still there. I can still log in and my old IM messages are still there. Super weird. Super creepy.
Logging in before the 30 days, just reset your "30 day timer for deleting." Stop logging in! (now go back and do the deletion thing again - then SET IT...AND FORGET IT! ha ha ha!

I got rid of Facebook on my phone and PC about 4 months ago....have NOT missed it, and both my phone and PC works SO MUCH BETTER than it did while using FB. Seriously, all the crap attached to FB was screwing up my phone and computer....no problems with either since dropping FB. I recommend EVERYONE GET RID OF THE JUNK BY DROPPING FACEBOOK.

I don't need anymore drama in my life!!! One of my counselors told me to get off Facebook cuz of the drama was affecting me emotionally and mentally !!!!
seems you aren't allowed to delete fb, at least on the galaxy s9. comes pre-installed, along with a whole assortment of unremovable google apps. theres a reason it cant be removed, even if you don't use or have an account.
