The UCC does not affect the religious rites, rituals, and observances that occur in the life of a man or a woman of any religion.

But conversion for or after marriage should not be encouraged. The husband and wife can practice the religion they belong to before marriage. The children born out of such marriages should choose their religion after the age of 18 years. If one partner needs to change religion before marriage, that should be done only with the consent of family members and through court. This is required to rule out any coercion.

Whether UCC is required or not, Judicial Reform is urgently needed in India. When you purchase a Flat of piece of land from salary income, Some Rogue land owners go & file case of dispute. Then, the property is barred from selling to others. Courts take 15 years or 20 years to give verdict. In the mean time, many people die. With 143 crore population, It is not possible to give speedy judgment with limited judicial staffs. Govt should consult Supreme court to increase the number of Govt lawyers & judges to fast track all the pending Civil cases. If some petitioner is found using fraudulent documents to file a case, he should be penalised heavily for wasting Court time

Whether UCC is required or not, Judicial Reform is urgently needed in India.
When you purchase a Flat of piece of land from salary income, Some Rogue land owners go & file case of dispute.
Then, the property is barred from selling to others. Courts take 15 years or 20 years to give verdict.
In the mean time, many people die.
With 143 crore population, It is not possible to give speedy judgment with limited judicial staffs.
Govt should consult Supreme court to increase the number of Govt lawyers & judges to fast track all the pending Civil cases.
If some petitioner is found using fraudulent documents to file a case, he should be penalised heavily for wasting Court time
