Regarding Cartier WG my understanding is that they don’t polish it to remove scratches but rather re rhodium plate it. This process dosnt remove any gold. I get this done with all of my WG Tiffany jewelry every few years. There is a small charge $100 or so but the items come back looking brand new.

They are not hard to clean but u will have to clean them weekly. I am also getting tired of cleaning my diamonds. They get stained by the body oil easily and they dun shine as nicely. To clean it, just use a gentle brush and washing detergent.

No unfortunately it doesn’t work on any other gold but yellow.
It’s totally fine, as it’s a solid gold
