Man that trail just doesn't let up. I love that super-chunk. The GoPro effect really comes in to play when you're trying to show steep, technical climbing. You guys looked like you were clawing your way straight up a wall!
Moore Fun is my favorite trail! Tech climbing is what makes this valley so special and I wish you would show more of it. The amazing down is all good and fun but the epic up when you clean what seemed impossible is the best! Thanks for another great post and keep up the good work. P.S. Looks like the full-time Crashing Dad is a part-time mountain goat. Well done Sheyn!
Hell yeah Buck Saw! I wish would show more tech climb if it was always kicking my butt lol hahaha! Lost in the editing Sheyn really killed the ride! Probably one of his best all time efforts, me not so much!
I just did it for the first time this weekend! Absolutely epic! There were a few sections I hiked through. Can't wait to do it again. Great video that captures the max gnar.
Trail Stoke yeah are not kidding! It’s kind of funny, there are quite a bit of people that end up here on accident looking for horsethief! You won’t be the first nor the last. I agree, but I’ve become a cyclepath recently!
I will say this, having ridden Moore Fun, I didn't think the trail would ever appeal to me again...... Until this video..... Somehow you've sparked a deep urge to rent a short travel 29er to ride this trail again as an out and back. Sheyn absolutely killed it from what I can tell, to no surprise.... That man has been eating his wheaties!!
RHP Mountain & Trail! Good to see you in the comments! This trail is kind of funny, it looks harder than it actually is and is a great track to build on every time.
@@1josefat - I just built up a 2015 Transition Smuggler 115/130mm 29er 🤘 got a steal of a deal on Pinkbike for the frame... And transferred all the parts over from my hardtail... Transition's geometry in 2015 was way ahead of its time... Just about standard for 2018.
James Stoup i couldn’t agree more and I wish I snuck in a few more shots......but my upcoming SB130 video might give a little more taste to Trail, but just a little Moore. Thanks James!
Like tech climbing. Need to show more. More true to "real" mountain bike ride. Plus shows line selection, weight shift, and approach. Really like how you showed attempt number X to show how hard it is and your persistence. Also climbing videos are more fun to "ride along" on stationary bike during winter season. Makes me push harder. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Mike Time! Very interesting comment! Lots of "fake news" mountain bike rides out there.... I'm definitely guilty of some of those and will continue to make more lol. But still glad you enjoyed the climb, this was the perfect trail for it!
Our South Mountain trails have a lot of tech. Hard to say which one is the most technical. When Matt gets here in January I look forward to hearing which one he thinks is most technical.
That is one amazing looking trail, it reminds me of Zen in St. George. Oh, and we should have Sheyn change his channel to "the not crashing dad". Great riding and video guys!
"Only true psychopaths ride this!" Dying! Was thinking something similar before you said it. Every few months I'll ride Moore Fun in hopes my skills have grown enough to enjoy it. Not yet.
@@OutdoorGold bahahaha, I hear it now. When I was thinking "crazy a**es", "psychopaths" just seemed to fit. Tough ride. Looking forward to seeing the West to East video.
I dig it! Makes me want to ride this trail. I love the technical climbing in your videos. You do a good job with the technical descents as well. Do you think the short travel bike performed better than a long travel bike would have on this trail?
Greg! what up! I'm definitely a lot better going downhill vs. uphill. The short travel 29" was perfect for this trail, the light weight and quick reaction and recovery time was a massive plus!
I think the techy climbs make great content for sure! Also having another rider in the action makes the viewing moore interesting and Moore fun! Thanks Mike!
Nice! The West to East climb is pretty rough and the features are way harder to climb. Less achievable for sure. But the downhill from that east end is my favorite. Moore of it!
I am not sure that looks like fun at all? Its like everybody making videos just wants to how much of technical rider they are anymore. I like a little more flow in my trails. I see you are riding another Yeti.... Cant you just ride the Evil every know and then it might make the videos a little more interesting to see some variety. You did a pretty good voice over but it was really long. Are you sponsored by Handup gloves? I personally like Tasco because they are made really well. The guy in front was taking some super bad lines, its no surprise he calls himself the Crashing Dad. He does climb fast though. We should ride some flow trails together.
I love how coloradobiker has been trolling and dishing out insults all over RUclips to the MTB community, and then turns around with a "Hey, let's ride sometime!" 😆
It'll be an awesome day when he makes videos that are "slightly better" than yours, Outdoor Gold! 😂 I can't wait... Subbed to Coloradobiker with high anticipation
Looks like I posted my first accidental video! Oh well, at least it had a title right!? What’s the most technical trail in your woods?
While you made the first comment, I don't think it counts when you comment on your own video, therefore I believe I have the honors! :D
You included the tough stuff. Nice work. That’s a nice video. Good video a great trail
Best quote of the video! "Some people say you can't call this a trail, Shane calls this a way of life"
Man that trail just doesn't let up. I love that super-chunk. The GoPro effect really comes in to play when you're trying to show steep, technical climbing. You guys looked like you were clawing your way straight up a wall!
It really is just straight relentless! Quite the mental and physical challenges! The GoPro dumbs is down lol

Loved the intro and the trail did not disappoint. I have a love hate relationship with tech climbing. Such a challenge. Can’t wait for part 2!
Thanks Mountain Venture! This trail deserved a special intro and I hear ya on that tech climbing thing. Its always been a struggle for me.
I need a recovery day after watching this!! I'm exhausted! Holy Tech climb!!
hahaha It was bad enough to edit lol! Brutal! Always good to have you in the comment Watty Legend!
This thing is hell on earth. I rode part of it on accident the first time I was looking for Horsethief. Nice job man!
Trail Stoke yeah are not kidding! It’s kind of funny, there are quite a bit of people that end up here on accident looking for horsethief! You won’t be the first nor the last. I agree, but I’ve become a cyclepath recently!
Outdoor Gold Dude, the intro is 💰 on this video.
@@trailstokemtb LOL I definitely tried too hard on this one! But I'm going to stick with it!
That was awesome 👏. Fun to watch but I’m out of breath now. Looking forward to part 2!!
Frankenbiker thanks Nat! I still hurt today from that ride!
Haha! 😬

Unprofessional Kyle I think we should make that happen, but I think your Bronson can handle it!
@@OutdoorGold It can, I'm sure, but my fitness needs all the help it can get lol
💪 it just takes some tenacity and determination 🤘
I cannot believe what I just saw! I’m exhausted just imagining riding that. Ima take a nap now.
I had to take many naps after editing this one! 😆
Pretty sweet man, got them in mail - thanks. I rode Mack's when I was there but that trail looks pretty sweet, good job.
Hell Yeah! I'm a big fan of Mack's and Hawkeye together, I guess that's why it was one of my first vids.
Always Awesome thxs for the Great Vids.
Todd Burdette always appreciate having you in the comments! Thanks
Sweet track! Excellent video editing, keep it up and good descents!
Its one of my favorites! Thanks Discese Mountain Bike!
As always great video very tecky amazing scenery what more can you say why above my skill level well done and thank you.

So FUN to re live this! 🤘 I want to get back and conquer the 4-5 spots I didn't manage to get 🤔😬
The Crashing Dad I know! Expect, I don’t think I can get them....
What bike are you riding @thecrashingdad?

Its legendary! St. Jorge is definitely on the list, everything there looks AWESOME!!!! Sheyn killed this ride, really put up a clinic!
I really like the intro! Go the music! Forefathers! 😄
hahaha this is the only trail that you can make a video going one way and another video going the other.
"Only true psychopaths ride this!" Dying! Was thinking something similar before you said it. Every few months I'll ride Moore Fun in hopes my skills have grown enough to enjoy it. Not yet.

I'd give Moore Fun a higher jank rating than Bitterbrush. Longer, steeper, and "more" fun 🤘
Happy Trails bro 🚲🍺
Hell yeah Russell! I definitely agree!
Technical climbing videos are cool with me.
hahaha Thanks Kris! Climbing is part of mountain biking! Have to keep it real!
I push a bunch and use my bike as an ascender. It ain't no crime. But I get through it. When you get to the first "peak"...the fun begins!
Looks like Moore Suffering to me! When is the Outdoor Gold Enduro? I'm not a racer, but I'll enter that one!
Huntstyle I think you’re on to something, RUclipsr outdoor Gold Enduro!!!!!
@@OutdoorGold Would be fun!
Nice! Had hoped to ride this trail last time I was in Fruita but it didn't work out.
When were you last in Fruita Yahner? You have to hit me and the crew up next time!
Outdoor Gold I was out there about a month ago. Spent a day on my way to Hurricane UT. Absolutely will give you a shout next time I’m in the area.
Agh that's tragic but not really, BV put in a good word for you!
Well that was nice of him!
great video,

I'm 45 seconds in and dying laughing 😂😂 dude can you please narrate an audiobook??! I'd listen to the shit out of it

Our most technical trail is probably Brownie Lake. Very short with rocky climbs and descents. It's a good challenge.
Brian Vaughn I’m sure there is a BV on that! Right?
@@OutdoorGold there is. I wanted to do another before the season ended but it was not to be.
Brian Vaughn it’s kind of funny, that’s exactly what this video is. A retread of one of my earliest vids, except I rode it much better!
more technical climbing please.

Such a stupid/amazing trail!
Your comment snuck in there! Moore Fun out and back is in my top 3 valley favorites! Thanks Caleb!
I rode this trail west to east back in 2016, the climb is a b***h but the down hill super fun.
Nice! The West to East climb is pretty rough and the features are way harder to climb. Less achievable for sure. But the downhill from that east end is my favorite. Moore of it!
So much pain 😂
