I wanted a birthday dress but they were sold out of sizes XS & S but once I saw this video you convinced me that a medium can fit too & I love the neat trick of sticking it in the dryer to shrink it & make it more form fitting. I'm 5'2 or so and probably around 145 lb. i cant decide whether i should order a medium or large. i normally wear a medium but since ive never ordered such a silhouette dress before, i dont know if i should get a size bigger and go for a large. would love some help!
Hi!!! So I’m 5’5” and I’m 120lbs and my usual size is a small. The material is super stretchy - I think a M should be fine honestly. Especially if you get the longsleeve one because I’ve noticed it runs a little big. I’ve notified that the bigger the size, the little longer the dress, so I think since ur smaller than me a M would be best. I wouldn’t worry about it being too tight honestly like the material is so stretchy and for the spaghetti strap one the straps are adjustable. Even if u were to get the large tho even if it’s too big, u can shrink it in the dryer. Either one I think would work for you, but medium is probably you’re size based on the measurements you gave. I hope this helps!!!❤️❤️

honestly you have to take slightly shorter strides when walking bc the dress tightly fitted. it’s also annoying having to like pick up the bottom of the dress when u need to get into a car or walk up steps or something. kind of a vibe tho I feel like a princess😭😂💖
kinda random question but if you wore the lounge dress backwards so the skoop neck is on your back, does that change the way it hugs your body? im not patient enough to wait for the non scoop version lol
I haven’t tried it like that tbh but I don’t think it would. But, there is the logo on the back of the dress so if you turned it around the logo tag will be in front

no it was not ruined from being in the dryer!! it does tend to shrink in the dryer though!! I’d recommend hanging it up to dry after washing it!

I just ordered 3 soft lounge dresses. Very cheap fabric. Like the wife beaters at the dollar store. Thin. See through. Not worth $10
