Jammal is one of my favorite players of all time. He took a lot of crap but played his butt off

Jammal was a 1-man gang. One tough dude. Not many could have had the success he did in that offense with the punishment he absorbed and dished out. Plus a very sneaky long ball!

Jammal NEVER tiptoed out of bounds or slid down on a run.

Husker Trivia: Jammal Lord broke Eric Crouch's Single season total yardage record in 2002( crouch won heisman year before). Also had the most single game rushing yards for QB (234 vs texas) before Taylor Martinez broke it against K-state.

My favorite interview to date. WOW Jammal Lord is amazing. He needs more attention as a former Husker and maybe a guy you'd want the players listening to.

Maybe the most underappreciated qb in NU history.

Thank you Alan!!! And he did mention D-line too. Line of scrimmage. Winning it is crucial. Jamal’s thoughts folks. I agree.

Well I woke up to Peter and Foreman coming onboard. Just what they need, two more dudes telling the kids all about the 90s. What a joke.

you going to bring in corey mckeon to tell the kids how to be tough?

@@McSlackmaster lets find some other 90s stud with zero coaching experience to give ‘em ‘this is how we did it in the 90s’ talk. Clappy pandering to the old base.

"The old offense is like punching you in the mouth over and over again." I think the new offense is running around the bully. Sideline being a safe space.

Ha! I thought the same thing. I think it happened again later in the interview also.
That was eye opening about his feelings when Solich was let go. Steve Pederson...SMH.

I loved watching Jammal ... the guy had eyes in the back of his head. He had to suffer through a leaky line as well.

LOL. In the NFL. He only played in one game which was during his rookie year.

My own opinion is if Jamaal had had better offensive play calling he would have had more success. When you have a head coach that turns his play calling over to Barney Cotton you get what you get. I think Solich was a poor choice for head coach and an even poorer choice was Barney Cotton , an offensive line coach calling plays.
