Pikmin Great Value Randomizer Challenge

- I haven’t made a Pikmin Challenge in a long time. But this one was really fun to do. I can’t express enough how engaged I was with every roll of the wheel to see what Pikmin I would get. It was pretty fun planning my route on the fly based on the numbers I got. I just love finding new and creative ways to play my old favorite games. Which is a huge contrast to how I was as a kid. Where I would replay the same game over and over again with the only goal being 100%. I didn’t even like speedruns because I thought glitches where cheating. But now I love when I can pull one off just to make my silly little challenges work.
Technically we did escape the planet in this video so, you can call it a success if you like. (I believe that was my only criteria for wining in the first Pikmin Extinction Challenge) I just said it was a failure because the ultimate goal was to collect all the ship parts in the beginning of the video. And we missed out on the secret safe.
This challenge also kind of lacked a story that I like to incorporate into most of my challenges. In the beginning I planned to introduce this challenge as a video game Olimar created when he got super wealthy at the end of my PikMINIMUM Challenge. But it didn’t naturally fit in.
Anyways, I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I’m still trucking along for the mean time. And I wish you all prosperous and fulfilling lives filled with love and hope for your dreams/future.

What a creative and fun idea. If I could give a couple of suggestions, If you ever make a run for pikmin 2, you could randomize where to Land everyday and maybe have 2 separate wheels to randomize from the pikmin 1 types (red, yellow amd blue) and a separare wheel for the pikmin 2 types (purple, whites or no pikmin 2 types) to add a bit more variety.
I never realized that you had another channel, i just rewatched all your older Pikmin challenges wondering if you would do anything for 4 only to find your community post about this video right here. Really ahppy to see you're still making videos.

Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate hearing comments like yours. Now for your question I think I know what you are talking about. When I made that fruitless video I was planning on making a pikmin 3 extinction challenge first. I was working on the script for both videos at the same time. But in the end I finished the fruitless video first. So I never released the other video I referenced and you were looking for. The script is still in limbo but I did record the challenge years ago

@JOseDurand many reasons. The other one had lots of videos with my ex and it also got demonitized. I don't know for I might move the old videos to this channel one day. But right now I will just keep them separate
@JOseDurand Happy Halloween too, I was a pleasure talking to you. Yes you are right I would have made the title cards for Craig and Floyd in the unreleased video. And I think I was going to justify the extinction by olimar leaving data files explaining the necessity of extincting the pikmin. But he would really be doing it to troll the new explorers to have a little fun.

So I guess in the pikmin Cinematic universe this one takes place in another spit at the beginning where Olimar is a compulsive gambler and must spin a wheel everytime he does anything.
I was actually planning on connecting this one more to Pikmin Cinematic Universe but instead I just left it unclear. There was two options, Olimar being a degenerate gambler like you described. Or Olimar creating a game of his adventures after becoming super wealthy at the end of the PikMinimum Challenge.
@@FabioMouro I am going to say the second one you suggest is cannon, after becoming the head of Hocotate Freight after the president was killed by olimar (indirectly) he mispends the money on drugs and hookers, and in a drunken rage flies back to PNF-404 and crashes the same way 2 times in a row, and he is approached by the god spinner, A reincarnation of the Jigsaw Bulborb from the first video, He cant affort to put olimar through a Normal randomizer, Because of budget cuts, but he can subject him to the great value Randomizer

I did the math, this playthrough had basically a 3/4 chance of beating the Final Trial between Days 26 - 30. Oof.
