The rear axle assembly that you need is from a honda trx or fourman as they are shaft drive! But for chain drive look into the polaris 4x4 from the late 80s early 90s as the transmission/transfer case has a hi/lo/Rev and you should be able To mate the motor to the input and go chain out...

For some reason, some of your videos are hanging on the ads and not playing thru. So I'm asking questions that I'm sure you answered in the ones I can't watch. Like what engine is this? Also how is it working out. Those pot transfer pullies don't last long for me in farm use apps. Hope yours did. Hope the V-twin is enough power😵😂🤣. Also how did the transaxle take to that much abuse???? One weak point to them is the housing. If you put bearings near the wheels it'll take a lot of the stress off of the housing , also the axles as well so they won't be as apt to bend. Wish we had a good cheap option for strong heavy reverse for these kinds of projects. Neat job 👍

I wonder if the cast aluminum in that pulley will hold up to the torque...

i agree it probabky wouldnt be a great chuck and having to buy one anyway, it was just the sheer attempt i found interesting, besides i bet theres many other parts for the lathe can be printed or cast later, change gears etc (see mr pete today, 3d printed gears worked well)
