We even contacted Samsung customer service to get some insight on how to transfer files onto an external SD card. I wish we could get in contact with the rep we spoke to from Samsung, and refer her to this video, for any future questions. We now have peace of mind, knowing we can watch a few shows to wind down at the end of the day, on our trip. Thank you very much!

During that trip while I'm driving can I switch the SD card for children mode and download just a SD card for our children. In 2017 still worrying about data caps. What went wrong? USA was the birth place of tech including the internet and now we're talking about ways to not consume bandwidth. I'm from Romania. That place were we get no data caps on home internet and gigabit fiber optic connection for $11 a month.
Regional monopolies unfortunately.. I can understand it on mobile given that it's a little more physically limited by radio spectrum availability but cable and telcos are just making it a profit grab here. My new theory is that it's less about hurting creators and more about exacting revenge against networks that have been screwing cable companies for decades on subscriber fees.

It got a whole new look to it, haven't checked out what featuers that has been added. I know you use the SPMC version alot, so just wanted to let you now. Maybe you could do a short video on the new features ?
Cool I'll have to check it out! My primary reason for using SPMC was that it has support for 24p as well as Dolby TrueHD / DTS HD that was lacking from the main fork.
hello can you please help if (if the creator sees my video) . i have a android phone (xiaomi mi a3) and i have set my sd card as internal storage. The problem is that even if i have ejected it and reinsterted it inside my phone.When i go to netflix settings it doesnt allow me to place downloaded content on sd card and it doesnt even recognise it. fine its locked to the app makes sense. shame it's not linked to your profile so we can access the content on all our devices. like download on a PC put it on a sd card or external hard drive and then watch the content on a Mac. and why not? still same account and app. I guess they want to prevent people giving their access to friends. then copy the files. odd. because aren't we already able to share our account with a bunch of people? then why not this?

Why not just put the disclaimers in the description so you don't waste our time in the video. I suppose since your youtube checks are all based on watch time it's best to put it in the video to make the video longer so your checks are bigger. Typical data caps are about 250gb/month, but most caps are not enforced and isp don't care unless you are obviously and blatantly abusing your download to be noticed, like in the 2-5tb range. So as far as downloading Netflix videos on to SD cards. it's somewhat of a waste. Most people have enough data at home (not cell data). And if their kids are really watching the same show that many times, over and over again. That doesn't seem to be healthy and would lend me to think they are letting their TV babysit too much and mom is drinking/drugs too much to care. People's attention spans are too short. they aren't going to want to spend the money to buy big SD card and take the time needed to download and properly store a Netflix movie or TV show. And the movies they really want to store are not allowed. 3rd party apps will always be how the cool kids get and store what they want. Even dvd-ropping and Blu-ray ripping is too time consuming, even if you own the movie and want to break copyright laws to upload them to yourself just to watch later on another device.
That's fair enough. How about scrolling disclaimer on the bottom of your video or put it after the credits or before. Maybe even doing split screen for a few seconds to list the disclaimers. Thus it would be part of the video, but people would be able to skip that part. Many different options I feel. Also I noticed you didn't address my other previous questions.
Not changing it. I feel very strongly that viewers need to be informed directly by creators as to the nature of the relationships they have with brands they are covering. You can read more about my stance on this here: lon.tv/disclosures - as to your other points - I think you're overly critical of a feature that most consumers (including myself) will embrace. You can choose not to use it.

I had the same problem, I uninstalled the Netflix app and reinstalled it and then the SD card showed up.
Could you see the movies if you plug the SD on your PC or is it crypted?
I tried to transfer it through usb but the video files have nfa extension as he told it can be played only in the app as not on any other video player
