It would be awesome if horizon hobby sent me a full blown aeroscout with Spectrum remote ready to run bird just for review. I would then send it back after the review because for me it isn't about the ownership just about the experience! Happy holidays! This red jet is amazing! Thanks for sharing!
At least twice a year I bless one child with a RC from my church or neighborhood. Sometimes I'll do both. Usually it's Christmas and when they get out of school for the summer I usually give out surface vehicles or a quadcopter/drone.
Hi guys and Happy New Year 🥳 I got this exact same plane for Christmas but here in the UK 🇬🇧 it comes without the “vector”. The wife and I donated to a homeless charity for Christmas, which we now do each year. Great channel guys 👍🏻
I still think you guys are awesome and I did pay for a veterans groceries the other day he looked like he was in his eighties and just appreciate it so much. May God bless you and yours in the new year the guy across the river from you Dave
'The BAE Hawk group' 🤣 It's The Red Arrows! The world famous RAF formation team that have been going for years and years! I genuinely love you guys. Hope you're having a safe and Happy Christmas 🌲👍
Nate and Abby Craig from Long Island here I asked for a spitfire which is not an expensive plane and I got it it's a small plane smaller than my pioneer 320 but it's a cool little plane to fly when I thank the man up above as you guys do for being 73 years old and still here ❤️
I agree with you 100% about Tactic transmitters and receivers. When I got back in the hobby about 10 years ago I picked up a Sensei RTF from Tower. Since then I also got a Tactic 650 and 850 (made for a short time). I liked the wireless trainer function way back then. It was sad when HH gobbled up Tower. Love your videos. Remember, the sky's the limit (unless you are an astronaut).
For Christmas i bought my wife and kids all 400mm mini warbirds. They wouldn't try and fly my bigger planes or jets, so now they have their own. P-51, F4U, and t-28.
Nate, I flew this again today! It used to bind up on Vector, but the throttle would make a dinging sound and the timer wouldn't advance. I rebound the plane without Vector and now it's fully functional! I miss Vector on the toss, but as soon as it's away, it feels light and easy. I do loops, rolls, snaps and figure 8's. I can't do any of that on Vector. Gorgeous plane. Thanks for the timely video. I have loved it all summer on 3S 1500's.
All I wanted for Christmas was my first real/hobby grade RC plane and after your recommendation I chose the Aeroscout. My daughter bought it for me. Aren't daughters wonderful? Finally maidened it today as winds were light. Thanks for all your reviews and recommendations for us "newbies" to the hobby. I have learned so much from your videos. God's blessings to you in 2022!
Nate and Abby, always enjoy your videos and nice to hear that you help people when you can. This year I would have liked to have gotten a new RC, a crawler, probably a Traxxas TRX4 Sport, or axial 10.3 Gladiator or the 4 wheel steer Capra or something else, haven't decided completely. But there is no way that we could even afford it. I spent a month and 11 days in the Hospital with Covid/covid pneumonia. It's the hardest thing I have ever gone through and being alone, no visitors it's hard for others to understand what you are going through unless you have gone through it. Especially the traumatic experiences that happened to me while I was in the Hospital, that caused me to have anxiety, and possibly made it harder to recover. I had a person tell me that my lungs should be better by now, that they had pneumonia before and got better quicker, not knowing that regular pneumonia is different, it affects only part of your lungs, where as covid pneumonia is like being shot with a shot gun. Spread through out all your lungs. I'm still not able to work, have lingering issues with my heart and muscles. It's been a total of 4 months of not working and very little income from wife's PT job 1 day a week. Savings has been depleted. Been waiting on short term disability but the Hospital is taking forever to release the records. My kids had a good Christmas thanks to grandparents, Salvation Army angels tree and help from others. This up coming month I really need to figure out what to do to pay my bills. Our church is probably going to help with some things like house payment and other necessities. Being on the receiving side it's been humbling and It's been hard being in this position and we don't like asking for money etc. My wife came home one day after waiting in a line of cars to pick up food at the food bank and broke down crying, embarrassed to be asking for food and then blaming me for not trying hard enough to get better etc. not understanding how it's hard for me to do alot. I have good days and not so good days. Any ways the nice thing that I have done for people was when I was in the Hospital I could really feel how some of the nurses and aides were really stressed, being short staffed and patients dying on them, I made it a point to always thank them and try to help in any way that I could to make it easier for them. I had one nurse that I talked to and said I might panic if something were to happen and she said please don't panic because then I am going to panic and I can't deal with that right now. She was about to break down. It was good that she was going to be off the next several days. I felt bad for her. I also talked with strangers online that were going through the same things as I did and was going through and helped encourage them to be able to get through it, I talked to 2 people who were considering just giving up, as in wanting to commit suicide, knowing how that feels because you are so exhausted and in pain never being completely comfortable, sleep being the only relief at times. I never considered suicide, but did feel like not trying anymore a couple of times and wanting to just die. They have kids like I do so I helped by telling them to fight for their kids and try and focus on your improvements even if they are small. Shared things that helped me such as some uplifting music and what a nurse said to me, " That covid sucks! It's like a rollercoaster coaster ride with ups and downs. You will have good days and bad days. You need to focus on the good days and fight. It's a big lesson in patience!! " It really is, especially now with being better, looking like you can do things to other people and feeling like you can at times, but still being disabled and not being able to. I did have an opportunity to talk to the Hospital Chaplain while I was on the covid floor. The only visitor other then Drs, nurses, aides. He said he wishes that I could tell my story to others so they could understand how it is. That alot of people don't really understand how bad it can be. I'm sure he has shared my experience with others. It's crazy the emotions that are coming back as I write this! Sorry so long, maybe someone needs to hear some encouragement. I am glad that I was able to help some people even though I am going through a tough time right now. Any ways hope everyone had a good Christmas and hopefully a better New Year!! These last 2 have been crazy.
Hey guys. It's John from Canada again. Hope I don't become a pest. Just something I wanted to share with you knowing that you are firm Christians. A scientist the other day said that if man lives for a trillion trillion years he would never know why we exist, or anything exists. Then I thought to myself . It leaves only one clear answer. God. And I got to say that you have had a profound effect on my life I am. I am single 63 years old and I'm new to the Hobby. Mostly because I broke my leg and can't golf anymore. The relationship between you and your wife Nate is so wonderful that it spills into my empty heart and fills it up. Thank goodness there are people like you out there still in this crazy world of guns and violence. I promise to keep things light from now on and not get too heavy. But it needed to be said the world needs more of you and less of the bad people God bless thank you for opening up my heart to the Lord. John from Canada
Very nice! Hand launching is so hard specially all of Flite Test aircraft like the A-10 or the P-47'S is so hard to hand toss with out help and having someone who really knows how to launch
This one, this is the rc that almost made my Christmas wish list, but I found it just that little bit too late to add, instead I asked for either the jlb J3 speed or the eachine spitfire, now that Christmas is all done with I'm about to buy myself the J3 speed. Great video great people great channel. Thank you and happy new year
Yeah, the Red Arrows are pretty well known over here in Europe, but have to say that I once saw the Thunderbirds perform (on american airbase Soesterberg over here in the Netherlands) and thought they were pretty formidable too. Cannot wait to see you putting the T33 through its paces :-) And do something with that full-sized T33 at your airfield ;-)
My wife when I got to spend Christmas With our grandchildren For the 1st time in 5 years. They are in the Foster care system and we're trying to get them out but we got Christmas this year
I'd like to see you folks fly the Eflite Su30.. Before I purchase an aircraft, I look to see if ya'll reviewed it yet and your thoughts. I'd like to see Abby maiden it. :-) -Patrick
Yeah, when you showed this the first time I noticed the tail. Until now, I thought that the others were stars - they're all jets. I combined my birthday and Christmas and bought me the RedCat Gen 8 V2 Scout - still working on it.. Unlike my Deadbolts, I'm putting more into this one (interior, roof rack, and the mountain stickers from RC GIRL.) Now waiting to get the '73 Bronco body for the SCX 10ll Deadbolt.
Great flite. You got my British blood running hot . Just to state US blue angels do a 4 ship formation. The UK red arrows have 9 aircraft and also have a rule on crew rotation other than Red 1 not one pilot can have more than 3 yrs in the red arrows. Amazing proves GB training up to scratch
I wish I had a x maxx but as far as doing something nice for people I'm always helping when I don't even have enough for myself hung two tvs and watched neighbors apt while they where away
I watched the Royal Airforce Demonstration team, and guess what?, They fly the bae hawk. Perhaps that's why the little planes doing a starburst on the tail is there.
Very good job, once again! On my Christmas, I had the inexpensive but great 'UMX Ultrix' along with the led kit, so that I can fly anytime I want literally next block, at lunch break. Next Christmas would probably be the Ultimate 3D from eflite. By the way, take a look at the 'Red Arrows' shows, they are truly amazing/ tight/neat/Impressive! Being French, I know many aerobatic teams, and along with the 'Patrouille de France' and the Italian 'Frecce Tricolori', to me, they're among the really best ones. This 'Red Arrows' Hawk seems to be a great plane, thank you for this great review. Best wishes for the new year!
Happy new year you two. I'm thinking now that you let the cat out of the bag you may find a lot of hands sticking out. Round here in Benton Harbor I would give people money to eat with and would find them later just as hungry and drunk with a couple empty wine bottles and one in a bag half gone. I started giving them food instead of cash cause at least they would get a bite out of it. Great job again.
Mine just seemed to totally nose dive on launch, there was no wind, vector flashing rapidly. Threw hard, soft, low, high, slightly banked level. Do you have any advice?
I just wanted a train set. I’ve been asking for one from Santa for 32 years. Since I first saw an advert on TV for the British Rail Swallow Intercity 125 set. I bought a train without the set as a shelf queen and I’ve been bought trains (commemorative RAF ones) from mum. But all I ask for is a train set ☹️ This year I bought myself a new RadioMaster TX16s for my aircraft and race drone. Amazing handset. I upgraded from a jumper t16
Hey Nate I bought this plane because your videos, but I haven’t been able to fly it because it doesn’t have enough power to fly I’m using a 2200mah 3s battery I already try to calibrate de ESC but the problem persist I would really appreciate if you can give some advice or what more can I do. Thanks
how much battery did you have left after that? impressive flight time! And thank you for calling it B A E :D much love from UK where every summer I get the real things flying over my house low level on their way to an airshow :D
The tail art represented the 50th anniversary of the Red Arrows in 2014 I got my photo with them that year as it was my 50th birthday too. I have it somewhere - I'll look it up 😁
Well you can absolutely see that big red riding the sky. Looked good flying. Since it's the British 🇬🇧🇦🇺 jet you should have narrated with a British accent. 🤔😏. Since it's past Xmas I just hope my Christmas 🎄 Cards made it to their destinations before Christmas 🎄. 🤔🤔😉😉.⚓⚓👍💜💚💛👍🇬🇧👍⚓⚓.
Before the Red Arrows, there were the Black Arrows and, in 1958, twenty-two of them performed a simultaneous loop. A record which still holds to this day! You can see it here: ruclips.net/video/uXQvURr-xSc/видео.html
Yeah I got the arrows bigfoot. Maiden flight didn't go well. Radio contact was cutting in and out at about 50ft in the air. Tried to land it with no success. No surface control and no engine equals crash landing. I'm sorry but their radio and receiver are junk. No choice but to fix it and run spectrum radio and electronics. I hate to be out the money.
@@rcplaneabbott1379 lol I been saying that since they were released 6 months ago, they just didnt get traction until HZ connected up with all these influencers around Thanksgiving, and Arrows is finally getting the respect they've earned the last two years.
I'm a big fan of you guys but it's not a true plane unless it has a rudder. Have you ever heard of a real plane without a rudder???? And don't give me that "yank and bank"excuse! Keep up the good work, but don't promote rudderless planes, they aren't really planes, just an excuse to cut corners. Imagine flying a real plane without a rudder.......

The U.S. Navy uses the full size BAE Hawk as the T-45 Goshawk trainer. They fly over my neighborhood frequently (as do F-18’s, P-8’s, and P-3’s).
'The BAE Hawk group' 🤣 It's The Red Arrows! The world famous RAF formation team that have been going for years and years! I genuinely love you guys. Hope you're having a safe and Happy Christmas 🌲👍

Yes the Red Arrows. Awesome to see! Great flying guys, Happy New Year :)

Never seen a bad flying Hawk. There awesome. 👍
PS. Alot of people pronounce it bay Hawk.
Oh I could wish for many things but my greatest wish, is for my wife to come home safely from her Christmas visit with her British family.
I’m also building LED Christmas trees for some of the people I work with. They liked mine, so I’m building them one.
There are 9 hawks in the RAF display team that should get 9 of these models and fly them together be like the real team

But all I ask for is a train set ☹️
This year I bought myself a new RadioMaster TX16s for my aircraft and race drone. Amazing handset. I upgraded from a jumper t16
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you two! Question: Does the Tactic receiver work with the Spektrum NX transmitters? -Dr Ron
hi Nate and Abby did u plug your vector stabilizer , in the 4th or 5th channel
Hey Nate I bought this plane because your videos, but I haven’t been able to fly it because it doesn’t have enough power to fly I’m using a 2200mah 3s battery I already try to calibrate de ESC but the problem persist I would really appreciate if you can give some advice or what more can I do. Thanks
Would this be something I could fly / transition to after mastering my XK Trojan?
I got a UMX Ultrix, Trojan 1.1 and BAe Hawk!
Hi guys, not only is it B A E jet . Also its for the Red Arrows Acrobatic team one of the best in the world. Guy check out there videos on YT xx
Hi ,Can you show the connections on receiver more clearly please,
Thanks.
how much battery did you have left after that? impressive flight time! And thank you for calling it B A E :D much love from UK where every summer I get the real things flying over my house low level on their way to an airshow :D
The tail art represented the 50th anniversary of the Red Arrows in 2014 I got my photo with them that year as it was my 50th birthday too. I have it somewhere - I'll look it up 😁
I got My first edf this Chrstmas, the F-15 Eagle by Eflite.
Hi guys love watching your vids. The real name that the british team go by is The Red Arrows. ;)))
Nice edf . Got to get. Canadian snowbirds edf would be cool.
It’s ok. I am an American plane enthusiast myself. F18, f15, f4 from the old days
Would this be suitable for a first jet? Thanks
u ' all r just great!
Kinda early squad where you guys at happy flying all 😎😎😎😎⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️
Do you guys have any suggestion for drones like the dji phantom 3/4
I’m looking to get the new Freewing Avanti S V2 or the new Zuse jet
I saw the British Red Arrows along with the Blue Angles I liked the British team better they also have colored smoked also
Cool lil Bae ; )
Well you can absolutely see that big red riding the sky. Looked good flying. Since it's the British 🇬🇧🇦🇺 jet you should have narrated with a British accent. 🤔😏. Since it's past Xmas I just hope my Christmas 🎄 Cards made it to their destinations before Christmas 🎄. 🤔🤔😉😉.⚓⚓👍💜💚💛👍🇬🇧👍⚓⚓.
Yah, it's NOT "Baywatch" or " Beowolf". Use underhand launches Nate, better results.
Can u use 4s with this and do u have link to buy it
This is a weird idea. Buutttttttttt could you possibly review flight test airplanes??????? I love them and I want to see what y’all think of them
You should check out AndyRC he has a red arrow like this, but has dji fpv camera installed in the cockpit position on a gimbal, linked with a headtracker on his goggles. So you get a proper pilots view whilst flying. He was testing the low light capabilities of the polar pro cam the other week& you could see someone was pointing a laser pointer at him from a nearby housing estate.Something I hope they don't do to a full size piloted plane,as can blind a pilot&get themselves into some seriously hot water I think.Anyways wouldn't mind one myself,I don't think my skills could match Nate,or Andy's flying skills.
Wishing you all had a good Xmas &looking forward to a better year for everyone.#staysafe &

Oh awesome! How do you actually like it in person driving!? 👍⚓️
Do I need the remote?

Before the Red Arrows, there were the Black Arrows and, in 1958, twenty-two of them performed a simultaneous loop. A record which still holds to this day!

My wife got me the sg906 pro2
I got a Xmaxx for Christmas
BAe British Aerospace
Yeah I got the arrows bigfoot. Maiden flight didn't go well. Radio contact was cutting in and out at about 50ft in the air. Tried to land it with no success. No surface control and no engine equals crash landing. I'm sorry but their radio and receiver are junk. No choice but to fix it and run spectrum radio and electronics. I hate to be out the money.
bro giveaway for me
nice plane
Everyone calls them BAY not B A E, they've been doing that for at least 3 different companie's models. We all know its an acronym.
buy this plane
@@rcplaneabbott1379 lol I been saying that since they were released 6 months ago, they just didnt get traction until HZ connected up with all these influencers around Thanksgiving, and Arrows is finally getting the respect they've earned the last two years.
What have you done for somebody else?
Check out the red arrows
Like it’s on rails
I'm hoping to get a future ex-wife for Christmas....
Salt bae
First
Woot!! You got it! 💯👍😁😎⚓️
:-)
I'm a big fan of you guys but it's not a true plane unless it has a rudder. Have you ever heard of a real plane without a rudder???? And don't give me that "yank and bank"excuse! Keep up the good work, but don't promote rudderless planes, they aren't really planes, just an excuse to cut corners. Imagine flying a real plane without a rudder.......
