FYI there's a HUGE difference between autopsy and cadaver dissection. Autopsy is done by medical examiners (MEs) to examine a FRESHLY DEAD (or sometimes not so fresh) body. The cadavers you see in an anatomy lab (i.e. these videos) have been embalmed (like a body prepared for a standard funeral (some religions don't embalm)). This means that the body has been flushed of blood & gastric fluids and then "fixed" with formaldehyde - thats why the organs look beige n relatively dry, also why there's no blood or fluid in the organs. So in an anatomy lab the body will literally be juicy with formaldehyde n will reek of it. In a morgue the bodies will have all their blood n fluids in them and will smell like death, blood, poop etc.
@Glitter_H_Hoof did you know that formaldehyde (the stuff used to embalm these bodies) is actually an appetite stimulant?? So some ppl actually get hungry during anatomy lab! Most bodies being forensically examined are NOT embalmed tho so they do not look like this or reek of formaldehyde
In the 5th grade my school took us on a field trip to a medical university in Nashville TN. There I saw a cadaver, a preserved human brain, (among other things) and the liver of an alcoholic… when I handled the Liver I thought it was fake. i thought they were using a stone to simulate what alcohol does to the liver, but it was a real liver destroyed by alcohol. @@kathyrizzi8754also, it’s not always what you do. Sometimes the difference is *how* it’s being done. Washing your dinner down with a beer every night for 40 years is _much_ healthier than going to the bar on an empty stomach every weekend for 40 years.
I have a question! Do you happen to have a gastric sleeve or bypass stomach? I am curious about how/why alcohol's absorption is quicker or more potent in a smaller stomach size! I ask this because I'm a gastric sleeve patient myself and alcohol effects me completely differently now. It hits me way harder, way faster. I know the size is a factor, but why else?
With a smaller stomach, gastric emptying time is faster. Therefore the contents of your stomach is emptied into your duodenum, where it is absorbed more quickly than it would be if it stayed in the stomach. Make sense? I am a pathologist btw.
In the Islamic religion, drinking alcohol is haram because it is destructive, and the Prophet Muhammad was proven right and Islam is the most perfect religion that regulates all aspects of life.
You always feel so sick after doing that. Not that I’ve ever done it purposely, but being in a hurry to meet friends somewhere and the first thing we order are drinks can be the easiest way to experience this. It’s such a better experience drinking after you’ve eaten a nice heavy meal.
Alcohol is a solvent. It dissolves proteins and fats. In other words alcohol may get used up in the process of dealing with protein and fats. Either way alcohol helps to make fats n proteins more and more bioaviable to you. The key is to find the right balance in the amount of alcohol consumed so that the potential benefits outweigh the risks.
Can u guy’s release something healthier than the current alcohol like we have atm? Like that cigarette to vaping was a great change. Want to see something like that for alcohol generation
So on a full stomach, you end up drunk(small intestines absorption) and on an empty stomach, you end up drunk(stomach) but throw up. I want to know why we throw up. Still cool to know the different ways alcohol is absorbed though.
remember, it slows the absorption, not prevent. drinking a shot of alcohol on an empty stomach will result in the same BAC levels as drinking that same shot with a bunch of fatty foods in your stomach

I haven't seen these preserved organ demonstratiom videos for months now and when I said that on another video's comment section, I get this within half a day.
My brother in-law has drank beer for 40 yrs. & his Doctor gave him a clean bill of health…go figure! He’s 75 yrs old, still enjoying his beer everyday.🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Yes that's good..but not every person is the same..pple forget that..I drink wine mixed every night. .but I know for my health I need to cut down...as middle age now..
@@philippamcqueen5430 you’re right!👍😊
Beer is the leasr damagin of them all . God Bless him ..!😉✝️❤️🔥
@@kathyrizzi8754also, it’s not always what you do. Sometimes the difference is *how* it’s being done. Washing your dinner down with a beer every night for 40 years is _much_ healthier than going to the bar on an empty stomach every weekend for 40 years.

Stomach looks like chitlins. Great illustration. God bless everyone ❤
"EAT NOTHING, DRINK EVERYTHING, THIS IS THE WAY" + CRAZY Dune Fan ❤
Can you do a video on Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and how it affects the entire body? :)
I have EDS and would love to see a video on this!!
Thats why when i don't eat and head straight to the beers i get drunk really fast. That explains why
Docs eyes look like he may have ingested some alcohol through his mucosal lining😂😂😂
Thought I was the only one seeing this 😂😂😂😂
Yes, I’m genuinely concerned. He either needs rest or rehab.
@@Roethleshe looks a like 😮
In the Islamic religion, drinking alcohol is haram because it is destructive, and the Prophet Muhammad was proven right and Islam is the most perfect religion that regulates all aspects of life.
Absolutely right ✅️
Straight edge society
Yup clean and crazy
😒
Amazing info. Do a study about facial fillers , how long it last in face , why some appear pillow faced , etc .
Let’s just show some respect for the guy who donated his organs for this guy😢
How do we know they were donated? J/k!
Thank you for educating us 🙏🏻
Ironically I'm drinking some Bacardi while this video notification popped up
Okay so I gotta drink on an empty stomach to maximize my drunkenness. Gotcha. You’re a life saver man.
I forgot I subscribed to this channel 😅
This is very informative especially since I don't drink alcohol at all. Thanks.
That is why i ALWAYS when drink ot i HAVE TO eat some " botanas". Never with an empty stomach
Or don’t drink at all.
Unbalanced life if not drinking i don't wonder 😂😂😂
That’s why people are told to eat first before they drink anything.
Hmm 🤔 There’s reason for the madness of drinking on an empty stomach. Not good reason, mind you.
You always feel so sick after doing that. Not that I’ve ever done it purposely, but being in a hurry to meet friends somewhere and the first thing we order are drinks can be the easiest way to experience this. It’s such a better experience drinking after you’ve eaten a nice heavy meal.
I love this type of videos , this are really helpfull , well done❤❤❤
So who had to die for u to get your hands on all that stomach 😂
It's maybe his granny 😢😢😢
Thanks for the very good infos.! With a nice ly preserved cadaver, helps a lot. Hope you can present some more.. I really appreciate it. God bless. ❤
Thanks for detailed information!
Always eat a healthy meal before doing any sort of intoxicant
Can u guy’s release something healthier than the current alcohol like we have atm? Like that cigarette to vaping was a great change. Want to see something like that for alcohol generation
Wow thank you on the information
This also explains why I could drink more when I'm ovulating. My digestion slows down during my ovulation cycle.
Am i the only who enjoys watching videos like this at night?
Ye i have experienced that, someone gave me a can of beer before i ate at a birthday party. First time i felt dizzy after drinking alcohol.
Wow now I know why my tummy hurts sometimes.
Thanks to the AnatomyLab, I now have an impeccable GI tract! Thanks guys! 😁👍
So on a full stomach, you end up drunk(small intestines absorption) and on an empty stomach, you end up drunk(stomach) but throw up.
I want to know why we throw up. Still cool to know the different ways alcohol is absorbed though.
Interesting especially with actual organs to give as an example. Amazing
Thanks for your information ❤
Cool
The faster , the absorption, the less stress, I feel
I usually eat greasy chow mein before hitting town. Lube up all those stomach and gut linings before the beers.
Imagine holding a stomach and acting totally casual about it lmao
Super expression tq given the message 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
@theatomylab can you do one for tobacco like tobacco pouches vs chewing tobacco and smoking ? What can happen
And this is why I am so bappy that I dont drink nor smoke! 26 years old and healthily living life how God intended!
Vids like these make me wish shows like Braniac were still on
That’s why I don’t understand why when you go out to eat at a restaurant they offer you drinks first. Do they want you to get drunk 🤔
remember, it slows the absorption, not prevent. drinking a shot of alcohol on an empty stomach will result in the same BAC levels as drinking that same shot with a bunch of fatty foods in your stomach
Hello I have a question.what causes a lot of acid reflux? And your videos are very helpful and I learn a ton of information and I appreciate it alot.
