These Indians yeah, they say we have 1.2 billion in India okay but let's look at how many are around the world in different countries and I am so appreciative that they are because the food is just absolutely amazing, thank you all 😀❤🇬🇧👍
Idli is steamed with plastic on to tray never do that its toxic. Always use white thin cotton cloth as its traditionally done. Other than that its thumbs up for the eatery.
It's great to hear that you appreciate the eatery overall! However, using plastic for steaming idli can indeed be concerning. Why do you think some places opt for plastic instead of the traditional cotton cloth, and how can we promote better practices while still maintaining the quality of traditional dishes?
@@potechhd using plastic or cling film is cost effective helps reduce cost, muslin clothe expensive and you might not get it everywhere, you can ignore the health risk if you eat food like this once in a while

Hello to Suresh and aunty! My favourite is aunty’s fish curry. Started tapauing Saturday lunch since i used to stay in SAM Mansion. Suresh was just a young teenager then. Walking down memory lane watching the video!
Wow... how long did you stay with them to do this video? Even more, how long did it take you to edit this video?? Just a phenomenal job. Both Aunties look so sweet and hardworking
Alamak... lots of devoted Health Inspectors in this room. Hey..how about all of you take a kopi break and watch this video again and appreciate these people's hard work feeding the community. There are so MANY POSITIVE messages emanating from the video so why don't you grasp that instead of nitpicking about the plastic
For real authentic Indian food , most fried and curry chickens ,fish, vegetables and the curry taste almost the same ( I mean they are good and tasty ) I only go for the varuvel mutton or chicken. This is when I can taste a lot of the spices in the meat and bite on the spices. These varuvel cooking will varies between different shops and that is when you know which shops is better and more tasty. And I never pour any curry on the rice , which would kill the taste and spices of the varuvel mutton or chicken. I can ,and most of the time goes with only white rice and the varuvel mutton or chicken. Briyani rice is also one thing that Indian shop cook differently so some are very good , some are just ok , and some is not good.
@sunwukong2959 Do you know there are side effects of plant cellulose materials such as bloating, inflamation etc... Check medical and food research papers. All tge best to Malaysians and Singaporeans - wishing you good health.
Not bad .. I'll go and have some food there .. Some things I see could probably need some improvements - sometimes the cooks touches the food with their bare hands .. such as the idlis, rubbing his nose .... (need to be a bit more hygenic)

Traditional Idlis are made with batter on top of thin cotton cloth in the steamer.

Not a good idea to use plastic to cook idillis. This would lead to bad consequences. Better to use cotton cloth.
Your observation 100% correct.
In Malaysian and Singapore they use disposable bio cellulose food grade plastics for steaming bags.
This is not India.
