That last tour he did, with the band of teenagers, was amazing. I saw him at a small bar in columbus. Just phenomenal.

I also was not aware of Leon Russell in his early days. I was too busy with my children. I discovered him shortly before passed away. Makes me so sad. Can't get enough of him l love listening to him. Gone too soon RIP Leon❤️

wasn't aware of Leon in his early career; too busy raising 3 kids & working outside the home! l do remember "Tightrope " not knowing the artist. l now enjoy most of his music! Sad l never got to see him in concert!!! Rest in peace !!!

Never knew til recently that Leon had a congenital defect impacting His right side, even to the point of paralysis. Listened to an old interview recently where the interviewer asked him how he dealt with the anamoly. His response: “I was pissed at the world”, but, he surely worked his way through it.

In all likelyhood it was Leon. He was a producer, lyricist, arranger, and on, and on. A musicians, musician till the end, and sadly missed.
