You can use different oils based on weather. I use 5w30 on my sonata because it’s more viscous

@joryp7064 I know you "could" that's only when 5w20 is NOT available I'm an emergency. If u r choosing to use 5w30 over 5w20 your doing it wrong

My first thought as well, but I didn't panic since I triple-checked thy oil type before I bought a five gallon of synthetic recently in preps for the oil change. Nice to see that the drain plug and filter are easily accessible, since my 2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS is new to me (first oil change)
