I made this pattern with NE Patriots fabrics with red and blue and the corners in gray… the bold blocks look like footballs…my grandson loves the quilt!
Fran, Hannah, and the wonderful staff at Fabric Cafe♥️. Thank you for another great video!! You bring joy to my life with all your wonderful books and being able to see all of you and sharing all your great ideas with all your patterns and fabric. We are truly blessed to have all of you in our lives! Keep creating!! Happy Sewing!!! Laurie
I am busy caring for my very old and frail mother. It can be very stressful and quite exhausting. Having a simple pattern cuts the hassle and lets me enjoy sewing with bright cheerful fabrics. It’s so easy to give up on a hobby when your a carer or when you’re in poor health yourself. Thanks for the inspiration.
My experience with two of your patterns today -- I've made more than I remember of Dash and Broad Strokes. At least 17 quilts for a wedding, new baby, high school graduation, going-away, only one for me and donations. Both patterns accommodate reproduction fabrics, batiks, western, animal, floral, patriotic, and vintage 1950s fabrics. The Dash and Broad Strokes are quick to construct and so I can donate to community non-profits as fund raisers. Thank you for making quilting so gratifying.
I agree on the Favorite Thing quilt. That is a for sure go to. I have done it in so many different Holiday fabrics. I have a 4th of July one, a Bright Citrus Summer Print, a Christmas print, and a gorgeous Kaffe Fasset Fall floral one. I love to take the extra triangles you cut of and make Flying geese out of them and add them to another border to make the quilt just a bit bigger. Love all your projects. I just got the 1 Block quilt book and am busily making quilts for Breast Cancer patients to donate during Cancer awareness month. My mom and I are both survivors and I love to give back to other patients going through Chemotherapy as a way to give them a hug.
I love how you are being able to utilize the corners in another project! Thank you for sharing what you do for breast cancer awareness, your giving back is very touching 😊
Thanks for another great video! You are a breath of fresh air Hannah and come across on camera in a very genuine way. Give batiks a go - you will be hooked!
Great job 👍👏🏼👏🏼ladies beautiful quilts I have 5 books and have made a few, great tips for fast n easy ones, we all need quick quilts for a Birthday, Christmas or just because Awesome seeing the patterns in a quilt. The plaid looks Beautiful never thought to use plaid 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👞
Hello friend and Hannah, I especially like the show today. Because it focused on simple patterns. I like doing the simple patterns, I have a lot of your books and sometimes I'm torn between which pattern to do. So this video was very helpful in helping me to decide which one I should do. Thank you, looking forward to seeing more of the videos including simple patterns.
Thank you ladies! I get so inspired by you and your videos. I'm thinking about using beautiful Laurel Burch fabrics on the "Favorite Things" quilt pattern. Your fabric is gorgeous and it reminded me of Laurel's. I sort of have a collection of hers. Ha, ha. We love our collections.
Landslide looks great using a team fabric and then two fabrics representing the team colors. I made it using Pacer basketball fabric and blue and gold.
Hello ladies, I have made each of the quilt patterns you showed. All are easy and beautiful. My favorite go to pattern is Broad Strokes from this group of books.
That plaid! Looks so good that way. I am one of those that is strips and plaid challenged. I tried my first plaid and it looked terrible. I ended up removing it and buying a solid. After seeing it in this pattern, I may give it another try. The pattern and cutting really matter. Thx Fran and Hannah! 😊
Thank you for picking out the easy patterns. So far, I have made 2 different quilts from two of your books. The first one was Shine...love this pattern. The second one was Nine Plus One...love the big block to show off a beautiful floral pattern (focus), white on white background (fabric 2), and bright pink with white polka dots (fabric 3). Watching this video has inspired me to try Landslide. Really appreciate all the videos.
Fran and Hannah I really love these videos about easy quilt patterns. Keep it up with more videos. I have all of your books and I love them. Happy quilting!!
I found that the Windmill Pattern from the Quilts for Kids book was extremely easy and quick -- just a strip assembly, cut off the blocks, then just rotate the blocks to make the windmill
I don't have a go to pattern. I've never made a pattern twice. My joy comes from always trying something new. Thanks for a great show.
Same here
Have all your books, wish I had the money to buy all the kits.
I love your shirt Fran
Had a rough day at work. Delighted to see your newest video for a bright spot of positivity and fun.
Love the floral paradise pattern.❤
I love the mouse fabric in the first quilt. I love the pink ears and eyes on the mice.
I’ve watched you for a long time and I think this is the first time I’ve seen you use plaid. I’d like to see more
Be warned, Hannah! Batiks are a deeply addictive obsession lol they are so lovely to work with! :)
I love when you two get together. You really do make quilting fun. Thanks 💜
I made this pattern with NE Patriots fabrics with red and blue and the corners in gray… the bold blocks look like footballs…my grandson loves the quilt!
My kids laugh at me for making up new words. Lol
Glad to see someone else doing that
Rail Fence is my go to quilt pattern
Great video! I know y’all already did the easiest kids quilt from that book, but I love, love love Checkmate! 🤩
The strip in the second pattern looked like a EKG pattern to me. I would call that one heartbeats!
Haha, great idea!
I’m in the same camp as early quilter. I love trying a new pattern each time.
My all time preferred pattern is Favorite Things - not only because it is quick/easy but because of the impact it has

I use Checkmate from Quilts for kids book for a lot of fast and easy baby quilts.
My go to pattern is Garden Path!
The big picture pattern might work well for a panel. Got some inspiration from this video. Thanks
Hi Tammy! Yes, Big Picture is a great option when using a fabric panel.
I’ve made Big Picture and enjoyed the very easy piecing. I’d love to make it again!
Definitely Hannah Try the batiks They are my favorite
I love using a large floral print with the "Big Picture" pattern.
I made this one queen size in patriots fabric where the blocks look like footballs for my grandson!
That's awesome!!
I made landslide pattern in blue batiks and it turned out beautiful
I want to send a shout-out 🎉 to whomever holds the quilts up for display! My arms would wobble and sag after 10 seconds.😂
I like the copper in Elegant Autumn . Great job ladies 💗

After the books are all covered - will you make a list and publish it on your site? Please? Thanks for another great video!!!
Thank you ladies!
Fabulous quilts
What happens if the plaid is not straight?
Landslide looks great using a team fabric and then two fabrics representing the team colors. I made it using Pacer basketball fabric and blue and gold.
Love the Batik Mystery Kit❤Thanks for another awesome tutorial!
If the plaid doesn't fall straigt with the grain of the fabric, do you follow the plaid, rather than using the selvage to keep it straight?
Fun show! Great choices of fabric and patterns. Thanks!
My favorite is porch rails. It is so easy!!!! Looks good in every fabric. Like maybe the floral moments fabric.
So pretty I love these quilts !

I love the fabric you used in landslide. I think I’ve got to make it.

Sew Fun & Easy
My favorite and go to is Heartland. Never thought to use plaids. Thank you for the inspiration... Love your videos!
How about using a panel with the first quilt? And using this second quilt in the same one and two colors for the back of the quilt?
I enjoy watching you girls and have made several of your patterns & a few kits also. Thank you SO MUCH
As always, you provide with fabulous ideas for projects. Thank you!
Landslide is an easy pattern.
Batiks are fun to work with. Much easier and very little shedding and raveling. Hannah will enjoy it once she tries it.
