I'm having trouble with this. I'm the second owner to my 2011 Ford Fusion. When I try to sync my Android it doesn't read. It shows other phones that I'm guessing that were used before, should I do a master reset on my car??
@@arkcidious2244 make sure your bluetooth is turned on on your phone and that it’s “discoverable”, it’ll show up as SYNC in bluetooth (for iphone at least). Also it doesnt allow phones to connect to the car while driving so make sure you’re stopped/parked
+TheAsianboy96 when the car says "no phone" that means that SYNC is not installed. They only made one steering wheel for cars with and without SYNC so all fusions had the phone button, while SYNC is an option.

I was having the same problem.Heres what to do from what I remember.After it says no phone.Use your right knob or if you have the arrows on your steering wheel use those to scroll through the options.Youll come across Add a bluetooth device select ok by pressing the middle of the right knob or the arrows (I used the knob because I didn't know those arrows would work).It'll show you your phones name.Press ok.Then it'll give u the pin#.Go to your Bluetooth on your phone you'll see SYNC and it'll say enter pin number.After that you do what's in this video like add your contacts or phone book and that's about it you should be connected..If you want to use the Bluetooth feature more for music like I did..you'll need to press the media button on your steering wheel and say using a voice command BLUETOOTH AUDIO.Then u can stream music to your car.Really hope this helps.Basically I was afraid to press buttons when doing this but I got so frustrated that I just went for it and it worked.
@@randiecute4800 my fm stopped working after I took it to get the airbags fixed and they just accidentally unplugged it. Check RUclips to find out how to get to your electronics plug in under the steering wheel, you should see it unplugged. Might have jiggled loose driving or happened during repair
Yes, if your able to connect the car to bluetooth.After you turn your Bluetooth on,on your phone your car should pick up the connection fast.The car will show up as SYNC on your phone.(That's only if you've already connected your device to the car).Then hit the phone icon on the steering wheel.Itll show up on the radio screen as phone menu,that button only does phone calls etc This means your connected..After u hit the phone icon hit the button above it on the steering wheel.It has a face on it,I think it says media.Itll ask u for a command.Say BLUETOOTH AUDIO.Those are the magic words you need for listening to music.Then choose what u want to listen to whether its Spotify or RUclips on your phone and the audio will come through the car.Hope this helps someone.Because without saying Bluetooth audio you don't get to listen to music.Took me 6yrs to learn this.If anyone has questions I'll try to help.
If your steering wheel doesn't have 5 buttons on each side with the 'phone' button on the bottom right along with a USB connector below the MP3 connector inside of the console then you DON'T have SYNC.
Your right but I figured it out,only took me 6yrs..lol If you know how to connect your phone to the cars Bluetooth using Sync.All you have to do is make sure it's connected.Then I press the phone icon then I hit the media button on the steering wheel its above the phone icon and it'll ask for a command.Say BLUETOOTH AUDIO...and there u go listen to music.Literally just found this out weeks ago.😉

ActressApayne once your phone is synced press aux, then menu, then scroll to select source, then scroll to bluetooth, thats how i got it to work
