Broken Jpg Yup, if there is any single song that fits with Thor its this one... its like how they couldn't do the first Iron Man movie without playing "Iron Man" in the end... some things just go together so well they are basically inevitable
There are plenty of songs about Thor/Vikings. Amon Amarth, Tyr, Manowar, Iron Maiden, etc are just a number of bands who sang about Thor. Heck, heavy metal is a nod to Mjolnir, which is a heavy metal.
Erm is Immigrant song appropriate for Thor? They actually use "Valhalla" in the lyrics as well as "Hammer of the Gods" You won't find a more 'appropriate' song for a Thor movie :/
I'm interested in seeing on how the chemistry between Loki and Hela goes throughout the movie....cause after all she is his daughter in Norse mythology and in Marvel comics
I feel like Martin was right about Led Zeppelin fitting into the trailer, for the wrong reason. They used the song (Immigrant Song) because it is about the Vikings and the Norse Mythology, which is where Thor and most of this stuff comes from. Not because they like Lord of the Rings. Maybe that's obvious to everyone but just thought I'd mention it.
I believe that the reason for the classic rock themes is because of the filmmakers like myself were kids while these comics and those songs were popular. In my minds eye, I remember reading many comics with all kinds of music in my mind.
Thor gettin' in touch with his inner demi-hippie-god-dish (helmetless, even), a more laid back Tony Stark, Sam Jackson as Nick Fury...all these thank's to the ULTIMATES.
This is my full plot prediction for Thor: Ragnorok; I feel like the 1st act will be Loki disguised as Odin freeing Hela (Cate Blanchett) from her imprisonment. Then Thor will recruit Dr. Strange to help him find out where Odin is. Odin will warn him about Ragnorok and die and Thor will go to Asgard to stop Help but it will be too late and she will destroy his hammer and banish him to Sakkar where Planet Hulk and the Gladiator match take place. The second act Thor meets Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and they shave his hair for his match against Hulk. They fight and he escapes and makes his way back to Asgard. Meanwhile Hela prepares to unleash Sutur the giant ass creature that will create Ragnarok (end times). In the third and final act Thor, Valkyrie, Loki, Heimdall (Idris Elba) and maybe Hulk will go to fight Hela and Skurge the Executioner (Karl Urban). Heimdall gets killed one of them and Thor's vision trip from Avengers: Age of Ultron comes true and Ragnorok happens with Surtur. They are losing, but then Doctor Strange comes to aid them and helps reverse time and they all overpower Surtur and Skurge and win saving the Nine Realms. Hela escapes and Loki dies for real this time. Thor gets a new type of hammer (like his ultimate one in the comics) and he finally claims the throne of Asgard and becomes the rightful King thus ending the trilogy. In the Post Credits #1: Back in New York, Doctor Strange has a sudden vision in the Sanctum Sanctorum (building) and in it sees Hela with a mysterious person heading toward Earth with a giant army. He discovers that it's Thanos and we learn that Hela is the MCU version of Lady Death and that Thanos wants to be with her like in the comics and that he will gather all the Infinity Stones to complete his Gauntlet and destroy everything. He finally sees the all Stones locations and realizes that he is in possession of the Time Stone setting up the events of Avengers: Infinity War. In Post Credits #2: Hulk has a Asgardian feast with Thor and everyone and they all eat like savages. THE END.
Am I the only one who finds it weird how this and Justice League come out two weeks apart and the cgi for hulk looks actually complete and not as uncanny as cyborg? Hope it looks better when it releases
Darkest Iron yeah ik but with a lot of these movies the background will look cartoonery compared to everything else. But I was comparing one full cgi character to another that come in the same timeframe
Jacob M I'm more inclined to liking marvel and you're right, but the problem with Justice League is trying to mix CG and flesh on the same character that almost never looks right. Hulk is all CG and looks incredible because of it. pun intended
light darksoul they could've had a practical chest and shoulder piece and then enhance it with cgi like iron man. But not film it with imax cameraa cause you'll get something like the airport scene with his helmet off lol
I have a question , why Hulk needs that armor when the guy can turn apart tanks and armored vehicles like if they were made up of paper , great Trailer and this looks good
That sofa is so large because, in the finished movie, Thanos will be seated there. Remember how they hid Spidey in the Civil War trailers? Same thing. BTW, in the MCU, Hela = Death. Thanos loves Death. So there.
why are people complaining about Danielle like this, she BARELY even talks in these... as someone who has gotten annoyed with her opinions in the past, grow up guys
First of all, Danielle is crazy; Thor is not better than Loki. And second, what exactly is Loki being forced into? The Thor movies? Because last I checked he is a part of Thor's storyline in the movies and in the comics. But no one complains about Tony literally being shoehorned into everyone's movie.
Jeff Goldblum- Reed Richards Taron Egerton- Johnny Storm Jessica Chastain- Sue Storm David Harbour- The Thing Would make a great cast for MCU Fantastic Four.
I'm really happy that these faze 3 movies are getting more colourful. the past movies always had matted colours and civil war for me was just a lot of greys the colour of those movies were my biggest problem. but with this and guardians VOL 2 it's so much colourful and more comic bookie
No, just the distribution rights. The decision of whether or not to make a solo Hulk movie is entirely Marvel Studios'. This narrative that Feige keeps promoting that Universal is somehow preventing them from making a Hulk movie is utter bullshit. Trust me, Universal would love for Marvel to make another Hulk movie, because they would then get to distribute it and get in on a bit of that MCU money, and from a marketing perspective, it would mean they get to attach their brand to a MCU movie. What it boils down to is Marvel/Disney not wanting to share that profit, which makes sense from a business standpoint. Why spend a year and a ton of money making a movie in which you're going to have to share a small portion of the profit with the distributor (in this case Universal), when instead you can use that same time and money to make a different movie and keep ALL the profit? It makes sense, I just wish they'd be honest with people as to why we're not seeing a proper Planet Hulk movie and stop shifting the blame.
People care about Thor, he just has not been represented well in movies. He is a lot more lively than the movies have shown him. I hope they dont make him too jokey
i am 80% sure that the hulk fight was probably put together at the last minute. They just thought like, hey, heres something we could distract ppl from noticing how much thor is underpowered.
I think I've figured out why Korey talks the way he does. I think he has a speech impediment called 'Cluttering' basically it's the opposite of severe stuttering. Clutters talk in a abnormally rapid fashion with poor syntax and irregular speech patterns. I think he could really benefit from a therapist. He has the personality and charisma to be a bigger star on youtube and beyond, but people need to be able to understand him when he's speaking.
I only bring this up because I grew up with a sibling that suffered from a speech impediment and my folks took action and sent her to a speech therapist and now she talks better than me and is now a high school teacher. A job that requires her to communicate with large groups everyday. It changed her life for the better.
Not gonna lie, this could seriously be the first Thor Movie I absolutely love. I always felt his films lacked any real impact. But Thor works best in tandem, and thats why this movie could be amazing.
I can't believe that we have a movie with a version of planet hulk in live action. And a Doctor Strange live action movie that was actually very good. Life is sometimes pretty good.
Thor should be more Vikings than King Author, so the music should reflect metal like Zeppelin than classical Lord of the Rings. So I think the choice of music is more internal tone than trying to be more like Guardians.
I wanna ask you people reading the comment section on this Double Toasted, Thor: Ragnarok teaser review video, something if that's okay with you guys...? Could you possibly see Jeff Goldblum maybe playing the DCEU version of The Riddler or maybe the DCEU version of The Reverse-Flash or possibly the DCEU version of Zoom? (By the way, if you don't know who "Zoom" is, or even who "The Reverse-Flash" is, then you obviously haven't been keeping up with the CW television show program starring Grant Gustin as The Flash a.k.a. Barry Allen. And that's okay because it is something of a niche television program. And I guess the vast majority of people "hate" The CW network because of...reasons. But if you do not know who Zoom or The Reverse-Flash are, I kindly suggest that you do some research with an internet search engine.) Oh, and you don't have to be "mad" at me for my suggestion of Jeff Goldblum as The Riddler or Reverse-Flash or Zoom, because it's probably never going to happen. Because DC and Warners, are not too keen on casting former Marvel actors unless they worked for the Sony branch, the branch at 20th Century Fox or they were in the Captain America: First Avenger movie. (Dominic Cooper, Howard Stark in Captain America: The First Avenger.)
The only thing, I don't like about the Thor: Ragnarok Teaser Trailer is the fact that Jeff Goldblum still sounds like David Levinson/Ian Malcolm from Independence Day & Jurassic Park, and apparently that's the only voice, he can do. God for bid, the filmmakers, the producers and the studio executives over at Warner Bros. decide to cast Jeff Goldblum as The Scarecrow in a "rebooted" Batman film-continuity because Jeff Goldblum wouldn't even SOUND "scary" in that role...
Idris Elba out here looking like bishop
Glad I'm not the only one who got confused for a second.
I was like " no fuckin' way!"
oh wait.. black heimdall and black valkyrie lol
Spider-Man Noir I was so baffled. For split second I forgot there wasn't a shared universe with Xmen. I was like "Omar Sy? Hold on wait.."
I thought he was Bishop when I first saw him. I was like wtf, are the xmen making a cameo now? haha
BS. You thought marvel got the rights to X-Men back and Bishop is the character they chose to go with 1st? GTFOH.
Immigrants song is literally about Thor and Viking lore
Didn't know that. Thanks for dropping knowledge. The timing was still a bit bad. This literally felt like a Guardians trailer.
Broken Jpg Yup, if there is any single song that fits with Thor its this one... its like how they couldn't do the first Iron Man movie without playing "Iron Man" in the end... some things just go together so well they are basically inevitable
Broken Jpg Yep
There are plenty of songs about Thor/Vikings. Amon Amarth, Tyr, Manowar, Iron Maiden, etc are just a number of bands who sang about Thor. Heck, heavy metal is a nod to Mjolnir, which is a heavy metal.
So many people complaining about the song without listening to the lyrics. Valhalla i am coming!!!!
All of s sudden he's cracking jokes? He's been the funniest character in both Avengers movies.
Erm is Immigrant song appropriate for Thor? They actually use "Valhalla" in the lyrics as well as "Hammer of the Gods" You won't find a more 'appropriate' song for a Thor movie :/
Imagine Dragon's Thunder for Thor 4 credits roll
Kate Blanchett looks "hela" fine
Thor Ragnorok is now my most anticipated movie of 2017. It looks like a Kirby drawing come to life.
It looks metal which is exactly what Thor's world should be which is a plus for me I'm beyond excited
Danielle! Great job on staying in the conversation, holding your own, and making some jokes :-)
Rooting for you from cali!
maaaannnn, Thor's reaction wasn't corny... it was perfect lol
In my opinion, Idris' character Heimdhall looks exactly like Bishop from X-Men: Days of Future's Past. Lol.
didn't even know that was Cate Blanchett man!!! Looks about 15 years younger in this joint!
Kudos to Taika Waititi for making this movie, such a brilliant director who doesn't got enough credit in all his films.
Thors strength and stamina does not come from his hammer....
I subbed like a week ago and it's already 1 of my favorite channels on RUclips
this is the video i was waiting for man,.......love you double toasted 😘😘😘😘😘
I'm interested in seeing on how the chemistry between Loki and Hela goes throughout the movie....cause after all she is his daughter in Norse mythology and in Marvel comics
This looks FANTASTIC! First.... Zeppelin music then one of the best comic action sequences ever.
I feel like Martin was right about Led Zeppelin fitting into the trailer, for the wrong reason. Thor vs. The (Amazing) Bulk
with IHE as the commentator
who's ready
Rita Repulsa + Winter Soldier = Hela
Mjolnir shattering.. That's what shocked the hell outta me.

Jesus Alvarez Hela has already been confirmed as MCU Mistress Death.
probably not far off
I'm going to come back to this comment once the movie comes out to see if that is the case
I don't know if you're right - but DAMN that was impressive. I almost want to yell 'spoiler alert!'.
Even with thor's hammer the hulk has whipped thor's ass.....Juggernaut fights hulk to a stand still.
Thor's joyous yes is a new meme! For example...
'When your boss tells you to take the day off with full pay'
'YEEEES!!!'
Am I the only one who finds it weird how this and Justice League come out two weeks apart and the cgi for hulk looks actually complete and not as uncanny as cyborg? Hope it looks better when it releases

heh
Jacob M oh yeah! More booster armor ish but CG is easier? Cheaper? Than getting it practical and I noticed that scene too it was kinda weird
I dig Thor's helmet.
That Hulk and Thor fight will be a thing of beauty.
"We know each other! He's a friend from work!"
I was waiting for this ever since the official trailer was released 😂😍
"I want hemsworth, and the hammer" lmfao
horn cate blanchett looks like aku from samurai jack
Hela came first
FINALLY I BEEN WAITING ALL DAY FOR MY FIX.....THANK YOU DOUBLE TOASTED
Danielle Came back on an impressive note! Offered some good insight! :P
Danielle underestimates how powerful Thor is
Wow... Daniel isn't pissing me off. Plus she's asking some good questions. Good for her.
I have a question , why Hulk needs that armor when the guy can turn apart tanks and armored vehicles like if they were made up of paper , great Trailer and this looks good
LOL, smoke some Ragnaroks. Too good, love you guys.
Danielle is back! Good to see you woman.
17:05 Did Martin just make a Gargoyles reference?
That sofa is so large because, in the finished movie, Thanos will be seated there. Remember how they hid Spidey in the Civil War trailers? Same thing. BTW, in the MCU, Hela = Death. Thanos loves Death. So there.
Why does everyone hate Danielle? Sure she's not a nerd or outspoken but damn. She's happy and chill. Yall need a life.
Double Toasted reviews give me fucking joy
i was looking for this from you guys
21:58. Yep, I need a glass of water.
The Zeppelin Song
Is
Literally About Vikings And Valhalla!
Holy crap. Danielle's back!
Glad to see Danielle back 😀
21:47 That's such a beautiful shot. I hope it's in the movie.
why are people complaining about Danielle like this, she BARELY even talks in these... as someone who has gotten annoyed with her opinions in the past, grow up guys
Immigrant Song guys!! A song about Vikings and Norse lore!!!! It fits the movie PERFECTLY!

Because last I checked he is a part of Thor's storyline in the movies and in the comics. But no one complains about Tony literally being shoehorned into everyone's movie.
I can't watch the trailer without thinking about The Knights of Cydonia music video.
Actually that would be a pretty good song for the next trailer.
Korey give Danielle her own show I would def watch it ❤
HAHA Yes. A simple jack reference from Tropic Thunder.
Now I want an episode of them talking about Tropic Thunder.
But...they play Earth Wind and Fire's Shining Star with the Punisher.
Thor in New York that was filmed in Australia lmao. Half of the reason I want to see this is to see how they transformed my home town.
Jeff Goldblum- Reed Richards
Taron Egerton- Johnny Storm
Jessica Chastain- Sue Storm
David Harbour- The Thing
Would make a great cast for MCU Fantastic Four.
I'm really happy that these faze 3 movies are getting more colourful. the past movies always had matted colours and civil war for me was just a lot of greys the colour of those movies were my biggest problem. but with this and guardians VOL 2 it's so much colourful and more comic bookie
I like this new Daniele that comes up with jokes and doesn't back down from coreys jokes.
Wait Universal still owns The Hulk Property.
if they do a full film yes.
Bruno 148 just distribution rights
No, just the distribution rights. The decision of whether or not to make a solo Hulk movie is entirely Marvel Studios'. This narrative that Feige keeps promoting that Universal is somehow preventing them from making a Hulk movie is utter bullshit. The song literally talks about Asgard
Danielle is orange af
Thor Ragnorak looks Amazeballs. Day 1 for me :)
Anybody know where I can find the full movie for free
What realm are they in space in. Asgard outer space is different from Earth's outer-space. if so, how did the hulk get there
People care about Thor, he just has not been represented well in movies. He is a lot more lively than the movies have shown him. I hope they dont make him too jokey
i am 80% sure that the hulk fight was probably put together at the last minute. They just thought like, hey, heres something we could distract ppl from noticing how much thor is underpowered.
Danielle got some big ol' ragnaroks.
*OH MY GOD, THIS MOVIE HAS HULK, HEL, AND LOKI!!!! WHAT THE FUCK????*
I feel like Star lord going pop up in this movie lol
The friend from work was the best part
Can Korey ever give a complement with a backhand 😂
I think I've figured out why Korey talks the way he does. I think he has a speech impediment called 'Cluttering' basically it's the opposite of severe stuttering. Clutters talk in a abnormally rapid fashion with poor syntax and irregular speech patterns. I think he could really benefit from a therapist. Yessss best teaser this year
Thor has always had that simple minded sense of humour so his friends from work quote fit perfectly.
Not gonna lie, this could seriously be the first Thor Movie I absolutely love. I always felt his films lacked any real impact. But Thor works best in tandem, and thats why this movie could be amazing.
a lot of bright red and green in the Thor/hulk fight which works for some reason
I would like to request Corey and crew rip on Coreys end promotion thats on every video xD
I'm more excited for this than justice fatigue lol
I think nearly everyone is if they're being honest
the trailer looks great. I'd check it out
This movie has Jack Kirby all over it with the bright colors and the armor. Im so happy :) lol
You forgot to mention the biggest game changer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet! Thor finally got a haircut!
Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song has lyrics about Valhalla. Perfect fit for Thor. Plus, it's a great fucking tune!
I was getting 80s Flash Gordon vibes from the trailer and the titles. Lol. "FLASH! AAAAAAAH!"
I can't believe that we have a movie with a version of planet hulk in live action. And a Doctor Strange live action movie that was actually very good. Life is sometimes pretty good.
The real question is; Will the hulk be sentient in the movie? I hope so.
Daaaaamn why Korey go so hard like that talking about her tan 🤣🤣🤣 savage
Thor should be more Vikings than King Author, so the music should reflect metal like Zeppelin than classical Lord of the Rings. So I think the choice of music is more internal tone than trying to be more like Guardians.
Any talk on Bladerunner and Dunkirk?
*Marvel CAN make a solo Hulk movie ...... but Universal have the distribution rights and Marvel don't want to share box office :-(*
Ther Zeppelin song is about Vikings.
Perfect!
Glad to see Danielle again.

Heimdall is now Bishop hahaha.
i kinda miss that Queen flash gordon feel from that time period...i think its cool they are infusing that flavor into this.
Danielle is actually good this time. She ask the question all nerds ask: how can you defeat the hulk?
thor is like Aquaman got no shit on me yesss he is friend from work 😂😂😂😂😂😂
A better movie title would be "Guardians of the Galaxy: The B-Sides." :-D
The only thing, I don't like about the Thor: Ragnarok Teaser Trailer is the fact that Jeff Goldblum still sounds like David Levinson/Ian Malcolm from Independence Day & Jurassic Park, and apparently that's the only voice, he can do.
