Good day! Good question. It didn't come out in the video, I see. I just pulled the filter out of the holder. But it fit well, so I was a bit unsure too! Greeting Pål (Paul)
Hello. I would use a fully synthetic oil. The oil choice has a bit to do with where in the world you live. If you think that the thickness / viscosity of the oil is important in some climates. I use Mobil Super 3000 5W-40. It is an oil that is suitable for most from cold winters that we have in Norway, to hot summer days in this country. Here is an explanation I found online for you: "The viscosity of oil is measured in how much it resists flowing. We have two numbers that define the viscosity of the oil. The first number ends with the letter" W ", which stands for Winter. This measure concerns how the oil flows when it is cold , for example when starting the engine. The second number is defined by how the oil flows at normal operating temperature for the engine. The smaller the number, the easier the oil flows. A 5W-30 thus flows more easily than a 10W-30 at start-up temperature, and a 10W-30 flows easier than a 10W-40 at normal operating temperature for the engine. This is important, since engine oils naturally become more viscous when they get cooler and thinner when they get hotter. Low viscosity thin liquids flow more easily to protect the engine parts at low temperatures. High viscosity viscous oils are generally better suited to maintaining film strength to protect the engine at higher temperatures. " Hope it helps you! Regards Pål
Good day! I do not remember in my head. But found this info for you: "ceed 1.6 CRDi (136) Capacity 4.4 liters (Service filling), Capacity 4.5 liters (dry filling), filter capacity 0.3 liters" Regards Pål
When changeing the oil filter dont forget to change the 2 rubber ceals you get them with the new oil filter good video.
Yes, it's a good reminder!

It's nice that the video helps more people out there! Thank you for your feedback! :)
How did you get the oil filter off the housing?
Good day!

That oil filter and oil looks like it was long overdue, how was the air filter?
Air filters were ok.
