Not only did Angelina get the golden buzzer from judge Heidi Klum, but she also received huge praise from the remaining members of the legendary Queen. Queen were delighted with Angelina's arrengement and shared it on Twitter with the words "WOW, what a rendition" (three years later they repeated their praise on TT in March 27th 2023 with the words "absolutely killed it".) What was unfortunately not to be seen here, all four judges came on stage to congratulate Angelina (very rarely). 👣💯 *AJ* 💯👣
BTW, Angelina released her version of Bohemian Rhapsody with permission from Queen on January 24th, 2020 under her own label ANGELINA JORDAN INC. shortly after Angelina celebrated her 14th birthday. (There are now over 15 million streams on Spotify alone) 🤗🤗

Angelina has over 200 covers and originals in her catalog, and every one is unique and awesome. She has a voice like a chameleon and covers all musical genres. She is 18 years old now and just finished 2 shows in Las Vegas. No matter what order in which you go, you will find each of her performances amazing and unique, and many just may bring you to tears.

Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Even though she has been compared by many to Amy Winehouse, her major influence is Billie Holiday. Other influences are Dinah Washington, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Etta James,Whitney Houston, and Adele to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, "Wow, what a rendition!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity.
Now 18 years old, living in Los Angeles, and currently signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records had agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. From what we know, she is finally done with school. She had a single that came out May 5th called Love Don't Let Me Go, a new EP called Old Enough that came out Friday, July 21st, 2023, a newly released video of her new song called Now I'm The Fool, and a new album of original music which will be coming out some time this year. Angelina released her new single, Our Time, and is fantastic! She returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience. On September 22, 2023, Angelina had her first U.S. concert that sold out in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On December 11, 2023, she was asked to come back and perform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. She first performed at this prestigious event in 2014 when she was 8. On Feb.29th, 2024, she performed 2 shows on one night at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. A film crew followed her and created a documentary of her called Angelina Jordan: 10 Years In The Making which premiered on her official RUclips channel on March 29th, 2024.
Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to sing for the whole world, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. One of the reasons why we love her so much!

Angelina Jordan Astar her fully name is a prodigy. Very smart, high IQ, can speak like 5 - 6 different languages, the youngest author in Norway to write a book only 9 years old. Started to sing "I have nothing" a Whitney Houston song when she was 1,5 y.o. And recorded a song in the studio when she was 6, won Norway's got Talent when she was 8. (She started when she was 7, but her birthday is January 10th) and now she is 18 y.o and already settled down in LA with her family a couple of years ago. This girl is amazing. And we have another prodigy in Norway too, and her name is Aurora Aksnes, a singer and songwriter like Angelina. Aurora is very special. She also has a huge rabbit hole to dive into. She started to play music on the piano at age 6. And when she was between 10 - 11 the lyrics came so she could use it in her music and her special voice and body movements. I recommend Aurora "MURDER SONG 54321 at the Nobel peace prize 2015 concert in Norway. She was 19 back in 2015. Now she's 27, soon 28 in June 15.2024. 👍 Best regards from Norway 🇳🇴

She is so talented that no one can ignore her, and together with Rebpublic Records, her family, and herself, she actually sets the pace herself to total fame within 2/3 years I guess. Although she herself is an 18-year-old young lady, her taste in music is quality, and not just high bass in the stomach.When the next James Bond film is to be made, who do you think is in the spotlight for a possible theme song? The list of what Angelina has already been involved in is already so extensive that only a deep dive into her performances has to be searched online by yourself. It is too extreme to almost believe at the age of just turned 18!!!! All important people in the music industry know who she is and what she is good at on big occasions. You have fallen into the vortex of Angelina Jordan who arguably brings the most confident, versatile, seemingly effortless, and fearless vocal artistry found today (whether measured across artists, genres, or decades). You may think this an exaggeration but listen to a few more of her many performances (170+ covers plus original songs - all on YT) and you will see! She has been performing at a high level all over the world since age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent singing Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and Gershwin. It is the rare singer that can, as Angelina has done, go from Queen to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins to Adele to Elvis to Whitney Houston to Michael Jackson to Etta James to James Brown to Amy Winehouse to the Beatles (and many others in between) and do them all justice!
If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. She started singing at 18 months old, holding a mic like she had been doing this for several lifetimes.
Her musical journey is 12 years running strong and just getting started turning 18 this past January. She recently played in Las Vegas at the famous Westgate Resort and Casino where many like Elvis got their start. One thing that's very important to understand about Angelina particularly during her early years is that with the help of her mother and her grandmother..
Well, her family entirely she is more selective about choosing lyrics and even changing them when necessary so that they are more age-appropriate and not as dark and dreary. Those choices were probably made as well when she sang Gloomy Sunday

Remember, she is 13. The "I just killed a man", is just not her thing. Up until she was 12 she always performed in an angelic white dress. She is also very sensitive to death, especially suicide, knowing what happened to Amy (and others in the industry) and having been very close to her country man, Avicii. When you hear her do Amy Winehouse covers, she always modifies the lyrics to be appropriate to her age.

So I say Wow what a reaction! This particular video has a hundred million views, so there are one reaction video or two out there - but most of them not as extensive and in-depth as yours. 👍 Janice Joplin for sure, mixed with some Norah Jones, I'd say. Angelina is very versatile, but a Jazz singer in the first place (no matter her age, which is astoundig as well). And unique sound for sure, there are'nt that much artists owning a signature voice at that age already.
And your math is right, she was 3yo when she told her mom in 2009 she wants to sing "on that Simon show". Even if she don't remember it herself, there is no doubt about it, cuz there is video footage showing her singing a Whitney Houston song at 18 months old.

Three months after this video is posted, I'm discovering (and enjoying) your work here. I've seen this and PUT A SPELL's reaction (which - six years into this - remains my favorite Performance Video. Absolute. No quibbles. My favorite. But I'll be interested to see which direction you can take - you've started as she's beginning a relatively modern phase, then you went 'back' a bit. But not all the way back, and I see this has 65 videos in this playlist. I'll be watching for her earliest videos and your reaction to those.

Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California is Angelina's A&R person, and he has been working with AJ since she signed with the largest record company in the world at the age of 14, three years ago. Rob was the MC of AJ Christmas Show that aired Dec 23, of 21. AJ’s Christmas Show that live-streamed on Dec 23 of 21 had some of the most important musicians of our time: Frank Sinatra's drummer for 6 years, and sun in-law of the late Henry Mancini, Greg Field has won 9 Grammys, and the bass player, Chuck Berghofer who also played for Sinatra for 6 years, and toured with Barbara Streisand, accompanied AJ on her Christmas Show, and they stated that she had the "storytelling ability of the greats, Streisand, Fitzgerald, Vaughan, including Sinatra, to name a few. The main pianist, a five-time nominated for Grammys, Shelly Berg, stated in all his years working with the greatest vocalist, he had never encountered a talent like AJ. Jimmy stated that AJ was the best he has ever played for. Rob Christie Republic Records Studio Director at Universal Music Group Manhattan Beach, California played the guitar, and was the MC of the show. (I can't list the complete backgrounds on all the band members because it would take several pages to do them justice.) AJ now lives in West Hollywood in Los Angeles, where the record company Republic Records has built a separate music studio for her. Hi A Aron, The surviving members of Queen were so impressed with Angelina's arrangement of this song, They signed over the copy rights to her version of it. This is now Angelina's song and Queen has it on their web site for folks to enjoy. They said they like Angelina's version better than Freddies cuz freddy just screamed and jumped all over the stage and they tried to drown him out with instruments. But you pick up right where you left off, and I think you are robbing yourself of being in the moment. I really don't get how you can look at, and listen to, Angelina and still wonder why she would leave out the verse about being a cold blooded murderer. The real wonder is that she can take that song about a murderer and expand it's meaning into a song thay everyone can relate to.

Bohemian Rhapsody is too long for AGT. Every song is shortened on the show. The fact she begins with perfect pitch with no clues from instruments was noteworthy to me. Her cover of "The Show Must Go On" matches Freddie almost note for note.
First the song had to be cut way down for the time allotted. Plus at 13, just killed a man was something she could definitely leave out and her version really strips down to the emotion. (And sorry but putting fake crying into a song is beyond cheesy. Nothing worse than fake emotion.)

@@A-AronReacts yes, they do a cover of Phantom, there are a couple of versions, and yes, they are incredible. Not the right place to start with them though, oddly enough, of the two major live versions of Phantom you see people react to, neither will come anywhere near as close to knocking your socks off as Ghost Love Score, Wacken 2013 will. And there are peeforamces and songs that later will rank higher for you. But GLS is without question the best place to start.
