In the meantime, I'm glad that Bonney has finally been reunited with Kuma. It's been a long time coming, and I'm sure they have a lot to catch up on.

Ginny and Bonney’s sickness makes the SUN poisonous. It’s so insidious that the hope Kuma always prayed to cursed those he loved most, but also, the curse of the sun sickness was literally the thing that liberated Ginny when they threw her away. The symbolism is so heartbreaking
yeah, the fact that Ginny and Bonney’s sickness made the sun poisonous is incredibly symbolic. It shows how the hope that Kuma always prayed to was actually a curse, and how the curse of the sun sickness was actually the thing that liberated Ginny. This symbolism is heartbreaking because it shows how Kuma's hope was ultimately misplaced. He hoped that if he could become a weapon, he would be able to protect the people he loved. But in reality, his actions only led to more pain and suffering. The symbolic nature of Ginny and Bonney’s sickness is also a reminder that even the darkest of curses can have a silver lining. In Ginny's case, the curse of the sun sickness liberated her from a life of slavery and oppression. It allowed her to escape from the clutches of World Nobles and live her life on her own terms. Ultimately, the symbolism of Ginny and Bonney’s sickness is a reminder that hope and despair are always intertwined. Even in the darkest of times, there is always a chance for light to shine through. I am curious to see how Oda explores this symbolism in the future. I am sure that he will continue to deliver thought-provoking and emotionally resonant storytelling.

Oda sure threw us a Curveball with Ginny being Bonney's mother but Kuma _not_ being her father... (At least not biologically anyway.) Also: An important detail but probably lost in the sadness if you didn't read it more than once: The upper large panel of page 8. The Cross in Kuma's church has a large Sun Symbol in the center. So this is a Nika Church. And yet this very Sun Kuma prays to took away the love of his life and threatens his daughter daily... This chapter hurt me on a very personal level too. Because I have seen a grief struck man standing over the corpse of his wife and just kinda collapsing before in real life. Seeing my father's reaction to the death of my mother was even more heartbreaking than her death itself. Also I learned the word "cot" yesterday when I read it the first time. Page 13 lower panels And here we see why Bonney is known as "Juwelry Bonney". To be fair: It makes sense that the "Sapphire Scales" would eventually grow larger even if you prevent exposure to natural light as best as you can. -> The light inside is just a reflection of the sun anyway. Bounced umteen times but still the same. Last page: I still don't understand how the Shit King of Sorbet _can_ return. I thought Ivankov and/or Dragon _killed_ him.
It is amazing we understand things that is not explicitly mentioned in the chapter, like: - His belief in Nika makes me emotional, now knowing it’s Luffy whom he saved before… maybe he knows luffy is joyboy, or maybe he saved him because he is dragon’s son… - now we know why Boonie is known as Jewellery Boonie.. - and vegapunk has the cure. since Boonie said she was in egghead when she was young. - but since vegapunk is now with the government, Kuma must join the govt😢. - since it is govt, they probably made a deal in exchange for the cure, like kuma’s life. - basically Kuma suffered it all for Boonie, and he was always ready to take others suffering from the start to begin with😢… what a legend..
Bonney will be the “princess” for taking down the world government before going to laugh tale. And what if that makes luffy the last one to reach it, opposed to how roger was first. I think that would be awesome

I hate having called that she was someone else's kid. I mean atleast technically she got married... we know it was rape but still. Atleast we get to see one of the saddest backstories in literature.
I hate the idea of it.. but given what we have seen from the story so far, the panels of Kuma as a slave being ridden by Roswald.. That man clearly has staked his claim on Kuma, and I think it may be very likely that he claimed Ginny as well.. However, to work against this idea, the mark under Bonney's eye, her scar/ piercing, its kinda shaped like a moon, she might also be a Figarland.
I can believe that oda did what he did with Bonnie's birth. This was the last final thing missing in showing how depraved the celestial dragons are. I can guess that the father was figarland.
Don’t count out the clone thing. Bonney is severely sick and we know who helped Kuma and Bonney in the end: Vegapunk. There is a high possibility that Bonnie was born normally originally, but given the fruit powers of Kuma, combined with the help of Vega punk, they might have cloned her before she died.
I would love it if Kuma was secretly a Trojan Horse designed to murder and make sure every Celestial Dragon perishes the same way Ginny did. He's a cyborg now so what if, that same disease is secretly being carried by him and he's infecting EVERY last Celestial Dragon with it to ensure that they'll all get a slow and painful demise? If it were me, I'd surrender my humanity to make it happen. Nothing they could do could hurt me more than what they already did and I'd want to make sure they'd pay for everything tenfold. Not only that, being a Cyborg would mean I'd get to stick around and watch it all happen before my very eyes, record it with a camera eye and rewatch it over and over and over and over again like a lullaby.
Come on Oda. Give Kuma a break I'm speculating that Imu has the same disease. Which is why he covers himself. And Bonney has a cure in her blood. Which is why the government wants her.
