By the sounds of it, I wouldn't say she sampled it. The instrumentation is too different for it to be straight up sampled. Now, my guess is some parts of it was simply inspired by it, as some trace parts do sound a bit similar
What is this song ! If it weren't in Japanese, I'd mistake it as an 80s RnB track. Like I was half expecting Angela Bofill or Patti Labelle to sing it. The backing track is gold. And I think I found my new favourite City Pop song.
