As a Liverpool fan, I hope you finish in the European competition position. You have come a long way from the smashing at Anfield. Good luck for the rest of the season.
It's not a team, it's a clown show. They've signed anyone who had a couple of decent games for some bang average and obscure club, given them more money than they ever dreamed of, and wonder why they're crap.
I’m so sad for the poor manager he left his good job in Portugal to come take up a bag of problems and if he can’t get good results he will be sacked pretty quickly
Yes. I actually wondered why he did it. It's a bit the same with Potter forsaking Brighton for Chelsea. I should think both managers now regret their decisions . . .
@Casey-Jones Yes, of course. But Amorim's goal is clearly to change the team in the long term and for that he is potentially sacrificing success in the short term. The point of all the changes he is making is to find out which players are adaptable and which are the ones the club has to get rid of. So basically it's going to get worse before it can get better and games like those one are a clear example of this.
INEOS did this. You don’t sack a manager before Christmas and then throw a new one under the bus. Results are atrocious, at least you knew Ten Hag would deliver a trophy. At this rate, zero trophies and no top four. Shocking ownership

Onana take too much time with the ball in his box. Losing the momentum that’s sucks. You do that when you are winning. Play long ball don’t stay in your own half. He needs competition for next season.
The glazers are to blame for the next 50 years. Give Rashford a new 5 year deal. He is a brilliant youngster. Scored 2 goals against Liverpool many years ago. That's deserves to double his wages forever.
Honestly, the crowd were nice to the players. If you are losing in that fashion and scoreline at the Bernabeu or the San Siro as the home team, it would be a completely different atmosphere.
Thing is its never been the Managers that are the issue, its the owners and players, Managers very rarely have been given time and money for players they want.
Manchester United’s struggles transcend managerial changes, as the club's deeper structural and cultural issues remain unresolved. Despite cycling through multiple managers since Sir Alex Ferguson's departure, the problems persist because of inconsistent recruitment strategies, lack of a clear footballing philosophy, and poor decision-making at the executive level. Ownership concerns, particularly under the Glazers, have fueled fan frustration due to a focus on commercial success over footballing priorities. Without addressing the foundational issues-such as empowering football experts in decision-making, investing wisely in long-term squad development, and fostering a cohesive identity-no manager, regardless of pedigree, can thrive in this unstable environment. Continuously blaming managers only masks the systemic flaws that keep the club from returning to its former glory.
This is what I expect ineos to do but it will take a few years. They have come in and implemented some of what you say but it won't happen in a matter of weeks but years.
