Unfortunately, Charlotte did not understand when they tried to communicate it to her. Yeah flair lost alot of repect from me that night she never got back. I am a trained wrestler. That is first week 101 level stuff. THEY teach you to ALWAYS look your opponent in the eye and see if they are okay and ready. Look at a simple shoulder block take down off coming off the ropes. They hit stop look down at them because that simple move right there legit knocked three people out of my training class. A back bump off a shoulder block was three massive concussions. Flair of all people should of saw that she was hurt.

Some people say that wrestling is fake, but they don't quite understand how much pain these wrestlers go through for each wrestling moves they take.
Wrestlers have to go through each fall and submission, which can be quiet painful. You can see the evidence through this video and other videos on RUclips, of the real injuries that these wrestlers go through, which becomes quite serious. Some wrestlers retired from wrestling due to their serious injuries, but some over the years have unbelievably returned from a serious injury. Look at Daniel Bryan and Edge, they were uncertain from their injury that they will never compete in the ring again.
Now they're wrestling in the ring, well maybe not as much as they used to.

@@doubleyouexwhyamzed Are you dumb or something, they don't hold any wrestler in position in a submission in wrestling. Have you ever been in a submission, like the wrestlers have to know how it feels? Because that's the most dumbest and ridiculous comment ever.
You can literally see wrestlers putting a lot of pressure, to make the other wrestlers tap out.

When people use the term "fake" what they mean is "scripted" but they lack the comprehension to be able to use
the correct term. The super majority of matches are pre-determined ..that doesn't make the athleticism nor the entertainment element "fake" . If people were simply educated in using the correct terms, there wouldn't be this discussion today.

I agree. I think Victoria got way too excited when she stiff slapped Beth. I don't blame her though, as she was just probably thrilled to wrestle a fellow powerhouse that could go toe with her on the ring after basically carrying the women's division on her back during Trish's injury and Lita's involvement with Edge and making Ashley, Torrie, Candice and Christy look gold. To this day, I still wish WWE used to that as a storyline for Victoria-Beth feud. 😑

Any injury is bad enough, but Joey Mercury's looked the worst to me. When he got hit by the ladder, his face pretty much exploded. I'm glad he healed up, but let's be real for a moment..... Some of these were absolutely among the worst injuries of WWE like Joey Mercury getting bashed by a ladder. But most of the rest of these, while they look gruesome and even cost the wrestler some minimal time, don't compare to something like a torn quad or a torn Achilles or a broken neck due to a botched powerbomb that HHH, Edge, and Hardcore Holly respectively had that could've ended their careers. Even the Rollins ACL tear should've been on the actual list and not an "honorable mention."

I did want to point out a small error though.
Near the end, you mentioned Jerry Lawler's heart attack, in Montreal.
You should have referred to the city as "Bizzaro Land" in respect to Jerry Lawlor, who I beleive came up with the phrase. ;)
      Cheers from Montreal
P.S. I'm pretty sure you're smart enough to know I'm just messing around.
Although the info in my post is correct, there's absolutely no issue with you referring to my home, by It's actual name :)
I'd have to be extremely anal retentive and pedantic, to be "bothered" by that.
P.P.S. I was in the building the night of the heart attack! It was extremely scarry and not something you ever want to see, on t.v. or in person!
So glad he recovered. I'm a major fan of Mr. Lawlor and have enjoyed his art and work in general, for almost 40 years now.
The Andy Kauffman angle is one of my favorite stories, in wrestling history and the Best reason to watch the movie, "Man on the moon.".
The movie, in general is highly underated, imo.

Worst injuries I could remember: Sid Vicious snapping his leg like a twig while jumping off top rope, short-lived career of Puke\Droz who was only couple of months into WWF when he became paralyzed by botched powerbomb move, Vader having his eyes pop out of his skull while wrestling in Japan (and to demonstrate how calm and badass Vader was, he just pop it back in and continue the match like nothing happen), Bret Heart suffering permanent brain-damage from Goldeberg's kick, and Owen Heart falling to his death.
I would add Kevin Nash breaking his knee, however this happen so many times that at this point it's kinda meme that Kevin can't even walk into the ring without his knee popping out.

To me the worst of the worst was Owen Hart. He actually died.

  • @cheeriohos
    @cheeriohos 2 года назад +6

One of the worst I seen live was a severe concussion on Enzo Amore by Simon Gotch I believe. He was thrown into the ropes in a way where his head snapped from the ropes into the mat knocking him out and than he fell out of the ring hitting his head a 2nd time and I legit thought I just saw a death on TV.

Yeah that was Enzo fucking himself up his positioning during that slide said he was in control one doesn’t slide forward like that without it 🤣🤣 everybody blames gotch for Enzo’s fuckup

So not Owen Hart dying from a horrific 60 foot fall,
or D'Lo breaking Droz's neck and paralyzing him with a powerbomb,
or Owen Hart breaking Steve Austin's neck with the sit-out piledriver,
or Eddie Guerrero breaking his arm during a Frog Splash on Billy Gunn
or Triple-H having his quad torn
    or Vince tearing both quads
or Undertaker's broken cheekbone and fracture eye-socket
or Shawn Michaels back injury during the Casket match
or like dozens... and dozens of injuries Mick Foley suffered?
Nah some girls hurt their shins or had to get stitches in their eyebrows... word, I just randomly remembered the list above?
I know this list of your's isn't supposed to consider ECW, or FMW, or WCW, or NWA, or ROH, or JAPW, or XPW, or CZW; but there's a lot more injuries you can consider "worst" in WWE.

One of the worst I've seen was when Sid Vicious broke his ankle performing a axe handle from the second rope. His foot when 90° degrees. This was awful

I'd say Mercury as in it just shouldn't have happened, the spot was just ill thought out unless he was meant to have had his arms up. Even then, the ladder is just sharp in to many unpredictable locations for a snap headshot from that spot in my opinion. Rollins or Trish as in flat out worst. Sounds goofy but keeping long hair in a ponytail or bun can make the difference between concussed af or busted open vs a headache and knot the next day.

Team match shouldn't be stopped because of one injured wrestler, just remove that one and make everyone else finish... Becky saving Kairi by rolling her under the mat will always be extremely cute! XD
