Hey, I was looking at Fanatics website and saw a 2019-2020 Brad Marchand Adidas "authentic" jersey that said it has "tackle twill numbers and letters" in the description, do you know if this means it has dual-layer tackle twill or just single layer?

@@jersey_jaguar Thanks for the quick reply! I'm in Australia; so I'll never see Authentics in person. We don't have even have Fanatics here - Majestic have the NHL license in Australia. We get fully embroidered jerseys; kind of like the 90s Starter jerseys - the twill is very soft, so they'll probably bobble after heavy washing...But I prefer embroidered logos over printed anyday. They cost around 100 USD. When I lived in Canada in 2018; all I saw was MIC - I had no idea that there were vinyl numbers in existence. I almost bought some 2020 reverse retros without knowing this - I would have been disappointed if I got cheap vinyl numbers on an otherwise very expensive jersey. If they were way below retail; that's fine. But with shipping & no discounts on the 2020 RR - I would have been paying $250 for vinyl numbers....

Hey thanks for watching! Unfortunately there are no outlets currently that sell them . That might change though depending on how Adidas handles any over stock, at the end of the season being that their contract ends. A few of the teams have them periodically on their own pro shop sites. You can also find team issues and gamers on NHL auctions here and there. Some teams also hold inperson garage sales to. If you're looking for a specific team the best bet would be to contact them directly as each team handles them differently. I hope that helps
@@jersey_jaguar Ok thankyou for the advice✌🏼. I miss the quality of the Authentic Reebok Authentic jerseys & have never been a fan of the Adidas ones(they feel like a drop in quality from Reebok) so always trying to find the best quality versions.
I prefer paying for the QUALITY that feels good & will last a long time, rather than the cheaper versions(price & quality)
@@usalax76 I agree 💯. Best or nothing. Also those Reebok MICS were awesome. One of my favorite, if not my favorite hockey jersey all time
@@jersey_jaguar It sucks that Seattle joined in the Adidas-generation; next to Chicago they’re my second team🖤🌲
I wanted to get a few new Bruins jerseys but Adidas sizing is nuts. I wish Reebok had kept the contract . Even Bergeron trying the winter game jersey said it was too tight . 🤦🏾♂️
Yeah man and makes it worse because they're inconsistent with the individual measurements to
@@jersey_jaguar 100% true is like they think NHL jerseys are a fashion model body type of thing . I remember even the NBA jersey were sized wrong
@@heribertosarmiento1265 yep early 2000s NBA ran about a size to two sizes bigger
@@jersey_jaguar or your exact size was off sometimes adidas size department most be high as a kite. Their soccer jersey are worse 🤦🏾♂️
@@heribertosarmiento1265 yeah man it's crazy I have a bunch of size 50s only a few of them fit exactly the same. I noticed the prime green and reverse retro 2.0s fit smaller on average than clima light and aero ready
So if I’m a 52 in adidas am I large in fanatics?
Yes that's generally what it works out to for the current Adidas jerseys. It's not a exact match but close enough.
M= 50
L = 52
XL = 54
XXL = 56
In current Nike football and baseball I'm a 44 which is Large. 50 for hockey which is a medium. And 48 in current Nike basketball which they list as a large.
Hope that helps

Go Hawks!
To me these vinyl numbers are like putting plastic hubcaps on a Porshe.
Excellent question.
So far I have yet to see a prime green with vinyl numbers.
In terms of buying via fanatics I would call them to clarify if your getting a primegreen or aero ready.
@@IntrigueAvenue very interesting!!! I never knew about the Australia version. I'm surprised Adidas doesn't even send popular players like Crosby, Mcdavid, Ovechkin, Kane etc.
I agree with you. The vinyl numbers are disappointing especially for a "authentic" line. Hopefully the next supplier does away with semi authentics and just makes MICs for retail.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Which is why I refuse to buy them. Unless I'm taking them off.
In Toronto, you can no longer wear the most beautiful jersey ever created, a Blackhawks jersey (I personally prefer the white one), if you are not Native. Yes, clownworld is officially here.
That is crazy!!!!
