Are the Jamaican black Maroons now moors...? I notice the fez on the new Chief...they need to educate Jamaicans on the Maroons because it’s like every other day there’s something new/their evolving.

Black African Maroons aren’t native to Jamaica. What? Did u know that some of the slaves that became Maroon Indians that were brought to Jamaica were Moors. They were Muslim until they were forced to convert to Christianity under Spanish rule.
