question about testing SMD resistors on a small PCB

TEMPERATURE IN LEAKAGE DETECTION RELAY
constantly over temp - motor tests good.
when I swap my probes, sometimes a light will light up, sometimes I get a different reading.
I can always get a proper reading in One direction only on all but a few of these SMDs
