@@XodoK no, russian pieces of human filth attacked my country so i had to flee my home, i still play midi-keyboard but not regularly, hope to continue studying after the war
Hi Marco - that is a difficult question to answer as it depends on a lot of factors, like how long the student has been playing, how much time they spend practicing, their age, natural ability, etc. Your teacher, if you have one, might be better equipped to answer this question for you.
Hi George. I don't think RCM offers e-books, but you can purchase the actual Grade 1 book on Amazon by clicking on the link in the video description. Hope that helps!
Hi Frank! The "intro" piece is a snippet from Mikhail Glinka's "Variations on a Russian Folk Song". Specifically, it's the beginning of the 4th Variation. You can find it in the RCM Level 9 Repertoire book. Hope that helps!
I'm amazed at the quality of those pieces. We are far from some dreadful pieces in the Alfred All-for-One for adults. I'm buying the book today.
Agreed, Michel!
Rcm 1 has some seriously beautiful pieces. I’m almost done with the book as a beginner and really enjoyed some of the songs.
