As much as South African government is populated by such outstanding & dedicated Men and Women such as Hon. T. Mboweni & Hon. N. Pandor, South Africa & Africa are in very good hands. May God bless this Nation of South Africa & Africa as a whole
The minister has strategic planning how to accumulates revenues by raising up beer and cigarettes pricing however that what most southafrican likes mostly. Apart from his adjustments leverages i think eskom matter can be resolved by investing in natural energy sources by introducing solar panels systems, more especially in the lowveld regions. Another way to raise income is by allowing citizens to pay their services bills such as water, electricity, school fees ,health services.Agriculture is the only promising sector which can reduce unemployment rate and creates job opportunity by exporting. Lastly but not the least criminals should not be feed for free.Criminal offences charge such as drink and drive should be increased and other criminals activities on bail penalties.
I agree with you on the matter of Eskom. Investing in windmills, solar panels, are far more reliable, especially for a windy, and sunny country like South Africa. It is also true, that far too many South Africans drink alcohol. When I was young, I also thought that drinking beer, wine, etc. meant that I was civilized, or whatever, but at the age of 50 I just stopped drinking alcohol, and I have much more money for myself. I also feel better, and can clearly see that those who drink are in fact not so civil when they are drunk, and they always need a few cents.
GDP can increased if southafrican are ready to work and diversify in sectors like farming, robostic, technology and also introduce practical subjects .Let's intimates Asia continents policies.
Still don't get, how increasing grant for people is effective as the state is still strugglig from one of the biggest threats we're currently facing SAA & ESkom

These RDPs and child social grants needs serious reforms serious money is wasted there. They need to create Jobs and other opportunities so that we can take care of ourselves. And stop creating these dependent society.
Seems to me that Mr Mboweni has also been 'captured'. Not the hard hits that are necessary & I expected. Bit like watching 'Magic Roundabout', only children are going to 'get' this. Good luck for the future. I'm leaving with my IQ intact.
In comparison to that other fool they had a few years ago - Tito seems more competent and actually effective. I was shocked two years ago when the VAT increased from 15 to 16% and that idiot minister at the time was covering the looting happening by the Zuptas
old age home anc. all this people in anc must go into retirement they are above 65 years old on average. tito why are you giving more money to saa and Eskom, when Eskom is busy asking for more tariff hikes from the tax rebate you just gave us. So basically not helping. and you skidded past government employees high wages more specifically MP's fat old age people who do nothing but shout obscenities
You may think that you have a point but take a different view, if he doesn't help Eskom and SAA what will happen to the masses of people who are employed by the two SOE's? And what will happen to your work that's if you are employed if you have disruption of electricity supply?
Hi Timothy. It's transfer duty exempt, not transfer fee. The transfer duty is a fee payable to SARS when you purchase a property. You will still pay the rest of your transfer fee - such as lawyer fees.
HALLELUJAH, HALLELUJAH MINISTER NOW I SEE WHY YOU HAVE SUCH GREAT WISDOM. WISDOM IS IN THE SCRIPTURES.

Timothy Mertenton correct
