I think you’re reading too much into this. It seems pretty obvious that god connected to emperor telepathically and that image of him on the moon was just his way of presenting himself.
That’s what I’m saying too. For some reason now some fans think that there will be an army of gods like in Saitama’s dream of the subterraneans. They’re overthinking it. There’s only one God in this series
maybe god needs to spread his influence by giving people power which will weaken the chains grip like the seal in naruto and now the sacrifice is needed to break the chain completely
It's interesting that so much info on God is happening now in the Manga when we know the web comic goes into Androids as the next arcs plot. Perhaps the next arc is going to be riddled with information regarding God as Blast figures something out for the heroes and the majority of the next arc in the Manga will be attempts to recreate God or create "Godly" defenses. Morality line next arc is gonna be tested hard-core if monsterification for power was enough for so many already.
Guys, I've got this weird theory. So my theory is that in the opm universe there were 3 gods, but somehow 2 of the gods became evil and tried to extinct all life beings but the third and the most powerful god stood against it and fighted the other 2 gods. Even though it was the most powerful, it couldnt kill/destroy the other 2 gods. But he managed to seal the both gods at the cost of it's very own existence. One god was sealed inside the moon and the other was inside the earth(the sage centipede did mention the 'god' as father earth). While the third god was losing it's existence somehow it managed to give it's power to a human who deserves it. And that was Saitama! That would be great explanation of the secret behind his strength right?. I'm not sure if he gave the full power or a fraction of it's. This theory could also possible without including a third God. While the Earth God being evil and the Moon God being the good! Either way it's possible! Remember this is a theory that came in my mind while reading the manga. And there are no rumours related to this theory.
This is what I've been thinking too, what if there are multiple species or just separate entities instead of species, of gods. Like the one in this chapter does not really look like the one curled up in space in that blast chapter ...
Completely blown away by this reveal. The one individual we’ve all been waiting for is here, in full color, looming over a dragon-level threat like he’s about to step on an ant
Just a thought: But what if the monster cells are just portions of cells cultured from the sealed God himself? What if all the monsters in the world are essentially just creatures that God gave power to in some way that are all given the task of destroying humanity? Most likely the monster cells, while giving great power, are just a small granting of his power while the black cubes give far greater powers to the individual who makes a contract with God himself. I would also imagine that while the monster cells confer some power, they're just for the grunts that work for God while the black cubes are meant to select among the most powerful to find someone strong enough to unseal God himself from Earth? Don't know, but it seems like this may be a possibility. Also, given that there are 2 Gods, I would imagine there are going to be far more powerful beings introduced into the story than God himself.
I have several theories: 1.There is actually only one god and these smaller projections are just weaker apparitions of him due to him being trapped. 2. This is an ouranous situation and the smaller god trapped the bigger one and they have a parent/child or student/teacher relationship. 3.This is a Transformers unicron situation. There was a battle between the two and the trapped one was defeated and went into a slumber. While he slumbered the formed from the gravity he emitted pulled in materials to form the earth.
Cool theory, my thoughts on this would be it was once one being (An Ancient Being) but got part of him sealed away in the cubes which was later discovered by humans blast is one of those humans, blast or his ancestors with space time abilities. Maybe over time one half influenced by humanity and their desires, and the other is just simply neutral, one grants powers to people with strong desires and the other requires sacrifice. That's what I think, add some of your theory to this and it should seem a bit more whole.
I just realized that Homeless Emperor and Saitama are almost opposites. HE has powerful energy projections while being equal to an average human in strength whereas Saitama doesn’t have any sort of attacks that don’t involve his insane strength
I think Saitama is one of the gods, actually there are 3 god in one punch man and one of them is Saitama. Saitama didn't obtain his power from the 2 god. He just accidentally become one of the 3 god in a funny way and lose his hair that's why he looks just like them.. Im pretty sure Saitama is more way powerful than Blast because the story is base on how Saitama one punch his enemy.. i hope they explain who is Saitama why not saitama is not actually from earth 🌎 and lost his memories back when he was in a Realm of god or something ..
imagine these gods r just from earth and there r other gods which rules over each specific planets and solar systems. that'd be so dam cool. one punch man is already my best manga, not only it gives life lessons, it also mixes science with magic, fiction and others. ONE is really a genius story telling and murata is a really brilliant artist. those two making this manga is just god bless
I was also kinda weird how 2 were physically different the one in the void or prison was much buffer while the one that climbed on the moon was much skinner
What if Boros's Oracle didn't sense Saitama, Traveling that many distances through space Saitama may have not even been existing at the time Boros began his journey, Perhaps they sensed someone else ^^
I think that they are the same God. Because I think he was sealed in the moon, but he left a piece of his body on the earth and it grew a body. And when he is released the two halfs will be one.
I like the idea that the trapped god is granting portions of his power to villains and using them as vessels for his energy, then once there's enough of it in the human world he can rematerialize fully.
My theories are: 1.) The Supreme God is sealed and divided into different Gods, forming planets and moons. Then he gives humans a power based on their desire hoping to beat all the Gods to break the seal. It's exciting to see that Saitama not only beats the Earth God but the entire Galaxy itself. 2.) Saitama is the Human God.
I imagine God being similar to Mordekaiser from LoL. Mordekaiser exists in a completely different dimension and is "trapped" there. He planned ahead and influenced people before his betrayal so that he may return once again. It seems that God from OPM has a similar thing going; His true being is trapped within a completely different dimension, but through the influence of his black cubes and the sacrifice he is slowly capable of seeping his way back into reality. This could also explain why we see God on the moon. Through subtle hints we have some sort of Indication that the Moon plays a significant part of influencing/communicating to monsters what God's plans are, so its entirely possible God planned for this before he was trapped. Why the Moon? Not entirely sure yet... but considering God's fascination with Earth the Moon would be a perfect Eye to watch over the planet. It's important to note that we only see God actually "manifest" on the Moon from the perspective of Homeless Emperor. It's more likely that the Moon scene was an hallucination forced onto Homeless Emperor by God since no other character makes a remark about it (I elaborate more in the last paragraph). Same could be said about the scene where God first granted Homeless Emperor his powers. As for why he appeared in front of Homeless Emperor despite him not touching a black cube? Like stated previously, God's fascination is with Earth and Humanity. It's not a stretch to think that God will have a stronger connection for those who hate Humanity, and would actively seek those people out to fulfill his goals. As for theories I think God manifesting on the moon is a key moment. While I said its most likely an hallucination, it could actually be God's avatar manifesting in a different dimension that only those influenced by him can see. This could explain why most other monster's don't really seem aware of God, while those deeply tied with him are capable of seeing his connections. This would also help support the idea that God is getting stronger, especially from the Sacrifice. The first time Homeless Emperor saw god he was in a very fickle/transparent state, but now God is actually "whole" and even seems to be more Fleshy than before.
I think God is like an Eldrich being that mind controls others into seeing in it what they want to believe. Then it gives the chosen few power so that it's plan will come into fruition.
Remember boros talking about the prophecy? Well he said the there was a prophecy "20 years ago" saitama was just 5 at that time So its clear that god was the one that would be the match for him Or maybe just blast?
There is a fan manga where God is actually one being of an entire race. Where Saitama has to fight multiple "Gods". I think they were like from a different plane of existence and each of them always takes over a different universe to have their race rule over the entire omniverse.
That would be cool, but I think it’s better to present him as one and one only, but if written well, that could work really good making him a really ancient alien race, maybe introducing bigger threats than this god
Maybe the cubes make monsters, and then siphons the souls of anyone killed by that monster. So, when they get strong enough, they would be sacrificed in the end, which might send the energy or the cube itself back to the Moon Titan. That would explain how Bang was able to retrieve a cube out of a monster when he saved Tatsumaki.
@@owah flashy flash is currently trading blows with plat sperm and monster garou. Dude literally can hold on his own. Watch the last chapter. It is still raw. They are fighting in ftl lol
Dude, I was wondering why there was so much seemingly contradictory depictions of God doing stuff in the manga, it never occurred to me that there might be more than one. Great idea. The greatest trick God ever pulled was convincing everybody there was only one of him.
Maybe Saitama is one of the gods maybe he just doesn't remember it afterall we've seen that Saitama doesn't seem to have parents or relatives though I don't know maybe he did but they died or maybe Saitama move out on his parents house and starts living on his own way.
If there is a god for earth and a good for the moon, then it makes sense that all the other planets and moons might also have their own gods. Perhaps these gods are part of a greater god clan of higher beings and their job is to run the universe
I wish murata also brings saitama back for the story as if it doesn't happen some haters will also blindly hate the next season as they did for season 2 despite its good story and plot 😭😭😠😒
around 3:30 you brought up "what is gods motive for granting powers to anyone" and this goes back to the very first episode of the series where Vaccine man speaks on the earth saying he's trying to cure it by getting rid of humans
maybe the moon and earth is actually some kind of escape pod for these aliens , and after a long period of time cover in dust start growing life. similar story of moving island is actually giant turtle
I think Saitama is also a God like the monster god 1. We don't know anything about Saitama parents....how or where he was born 2. Genos did tell that his training regiment is not enough to get those godly powers 3. A member of the hero association tells Snek after the hero recruitment, "it's as if there is a god residing in him". This makes me wonder is Saitama here only to fight those godly beings.....
@@mosswaysfilipo4384 how can Saitama be the only person with such a strict regiment.... I mean even the author knows there are people in our real world who works harder than him...
I'm surprise that no one has evolved theorizing that the devil could be involved. You might be on to something. Except my theory is that one of them is the devil himself and the other is the true god. Or maybe theres a 3rd god in this universe, that not monster-ified and is planning something to save humanity and saitama is one of the key players to stop these monster. Idk.
could be an ancient race of beings whom farm planets and the being who live on them like crops for some reason, 1. Being more powers. 2. Being some form of higher level reproduction. I.e. maybe planets become them or certain individuals born on planets can gain the will or ability to absorb their planets and all things on it becoming these "Gods". Something that makes me feel this way very much is Boros from season 1. Who was given a prophecy about someone from earth who could be a worthy opponent, he could have been used as fodder by a God like being to feed into the planets strongest warriors in an attempt to make one or the other stronger through an immense batte. Short-lived due to Saitama.
The God that is inside the Earth is probably going to fight the God that appeared on the moon. That would be freaking beautiful watching two Gods battling.
uhh idk, opm "lore" but what your comment just made me think is that there are gods of each planet. a god for earth, a god for the moon, a god for Venus etc etc
If I remember the hypothesis correctly our moon was originally another planet that cosmologists called TheIa which collided with Earth 4.5 billion years ago. I'm sadly anime only atm so I don't know the ins and outs, but through the lens of the story you could say that the two god planets have been in conflict since at least the collision. But the collision also exchanged material between both of the planets until Theia was partly destroyed shedding material out into space or consumed by the newly forming Earth. So Earth could be the fusion of two warring gods.
In mythology, there are three kinds of gods: The master, like the Olympians, is incredibly skilled and can easily control an element of the world. The source, like the elder Cyclopes or chaos in a way, can create it’s element of the world. The embodiment, like Gaia, actually IS it’s element, and has complete control over it. I believe that the god trapped in the moon is a master that can give and take extreme power, and the other giant curled up god is an embodiment and a source given sentience from the heroes and monsters’ fighting.
God fears saitama and blast. I honestly think blast is from another dimension and Saitama wasn't given powers by God. I truly think Saitama obtained his powers naturally. It's finna be God vs God vs Saitama
That makes sense, it’s why he’s so comically strong compared to everyone else- he doesn’t draw his power from the same source as everyone else. Man’s literally built different
@@illegalmemedealer3549 i think Saitama is also comically simple. I wouldn't read too deep in his strength: he just trained hard for it and somehow became too strong
Just got an idea. What if God from OPM is inspired by the Celestials on Marvel? Like you said, God is stuck or fused with Earth, just like the Celestials from Marvel. The two of them are also very tall, posses great power and can give them, they also need humans for their own(the Celestials need intelligent humans to emerge & God need humans maybe for influence or somehow related to his emergence too).
I think your final theory of there being 2 god rivals might be the one. The earth one is trying to purge humanity by granting power. The moon one granted Saitama power to prevent this from happening

Dont think theres 2 gods
The manga hyped me so much I feel bad even more that it will be about 2 seasons away before we could watch this scene
I think God will be similar to Ywach from Bleach where he can gift aspects of his own power to his followers and then at the end of the series when he's free he will take all the powers back into himself to fight Saitama.
Nope
I like to imagine that God has every single power imaginable, but Saitama has all the physical might a mortal could ever want. It’s a lot like All For One and All Might. Every power vs the single strongest power.
@@scottvgamer1163 All power and strength is created by GOD. Saitama is nothing without God. But in OPM verse, we don't know yet.
@@scottvgamer1163 interesting i love that but it will probably be hard to narrate such a story because these types of questions are impossible to answer
I think Orochi was supposed to be an offering to make Garou into his vessel. Kind of worked out too, if Garou hadn’t been stopped mid transformation and returned to being human.

I don't think there are w different GOD monsters. I'm pretty sure he could do many different things at once since he does seem to have powers like God
Then what's about the one trapped in those cubes ???
@@uebehdvdd272 could just be the same god. he couldn't communicate with anyone besides homeless emperor so the cubes is probably how he communicates to people until he grants them power.
Saitama feels like a god who put himself in a mortal body for fun.
Then completely forgot about it.
And there are no rumours related to this theory.
what if the dimension god is the 3rd one.
This is what I've been thinking too, what if there are multiple species or just separate entities instead of species, of gods. Like the one in this chapter does not really look like the one curled up in space in that blast chapter ...
im pretty sure its the same god character. his appearance on the moon is just a visual manifestation when he calls back homeless emperor to die.

This god surely exceeds all of Hero associations' ranks.
New chapter coming Friday. Everyone get ready for more hype!
Thank you!

I have several theories:
1.There is actually only one god and these smaller projections are just weaker apparitions of him due to him being trapped.
I will never see the moon the same ever again. Every time I look at it, all I can think of is it being the chrome dome of some omnipotent monster.
Great video and lots of cool theories I'm this. Excited to see where the Manga goes
I think Saitama is one of the gods, actually there are 3 god in one punch man and one of them is Saitama. Saitama didn't obtain his power from the 2 god. He just accidentally become one of the 3 god in a funny way and lose his hair that's why he looks just like them.. Im pretty sure Saitama is more way powerful than Blast because the story is base on how Saitama one punch his enemy.. i hope they explain who is Saitama why not saitama is not actually from earth 🌎 and lost his memories back when he was in a Realm of god or something ..
yep making him lose to god or be another person who got gods power would be a turn off honestly ngl .
Yes.
Saitama being a god does make sense since he's seemingly limitless in physical strength so he would be the one and only one fit to fight God
U look like saitama
Nah, I think Saitama just is a plain human who broke his limiter. Simple as that.
imagine these gods r just from earth and there r other gods which rules over each specific planets and solar systems. that'd be so dam cool. one punch man is already my best manga, not only it gives life lessons, it also mixes science with magic, fiction and others. I like the idea that the trapped god is granting portions of his power to villains and using them as vessels for his energy, then once there's enough of it in the human world he can rematerialize fully.
I hope ONE adds several cosmic entities to the manga. He could use some of H.P. Lovecraft's mythos.
Maybe all the planets have a god, that would explain the alien races having abilities too.

@@paquibotlouis2002 Well that wouldn’t be a fair fight for Saitama, lol.

My theories are:
1.) The Supreme God is sealed and divided into different Gods, forming planets and moons. Then he gives humans a power based on their desire hoping to beat all the Gods to break the seal. It's exciting to see that Saitama not only beats the Earth God but the entire Galaxy itself.
2.) Saitama is the Human God.
Great theory
Supreme God🤣 which can't even destroy earth
Bob the builder is the real god in the one punch man universe 💪 💪
fully agree, I thought pretty much the same.
I think God is like an Eldrich being that mind controls others into seeing in it what they want to believe. Then it gives the chosen few power so that it's plan will come into fruition.
Remember boros talking about the prophecy? Well he said the there was a prophecy "20 years ago" saitama was just 5 at that time
So its clear that god was the one that would be the match for him
Or maybe just blast?
its definitely blast not god. lol some said the prophecy was about garo. He might have even not born at that time.
@@shyamramraj4299 yea garou is 18 whereas Saitama is 25.
@@0ne_Punch_M4n_EditzActually that would he cool but not as powerful, I like to think this GOD is a singularity and Omnipresent etc…
Maybe the cubes make monsters, and then siphons the souls of anyone killed by that monster. So, when they get strong enough, they would be sacrificed in the end, which might send the energy or the cube itself back to the Moon Titan. That would explain how Bang was able to retrieve a cube out of a monster when he saved Tatsumaki.

could be an ancient race of beings whom farm planets and the being who live on them like crops for some reason, 1.
I love how different artists depict “god”
The God that is inside the Earth is probably going to fight the God that appeared on the moon. That would be freaking beautiful watching two Gods battling.
uhh idk, opm "lore" but what your comment just made me think is that there are gods of each planet. a god for earth, a god for the moon, a god for Venus etc etc
@@zeemmiller2443 that could be possible
If this “two god” theory is true, I think one god is active, while the other is sleeping.
There are probably multiple Gods that are sealed away in each black cube and if they we're to be released it would form into one powerful God
Thats a good and also fun theory.
another quesition needs to be answered is the earth strong enough to guide boros to the planet? OPM is so op dude
In mythology, there are three kinds of gods:
The master, like the Olympians, is incredibly skilled and can easily control an element of the world.
This sounds like what happens in the Eternals
Yeah god in OPM is very similar to the celestials from marvel
I feel like there are two gods, one in control of the monsters, one in control of the heroes.
I think God is not a final boss. The final boss is cosmic god like Alien x, entities etc....
Wow, this is all so deep in lure and mystery. ONE is absolutely incredible.
It'll be cool if Saitama and Blast would fight together against the gods and Saitama is finally satisfied
bro, i didnt follow the story for some time and it already got 100x more deep and the universe has gotten powerful af
Yeah, it was stated that blast will only appear when earth is in danger...maybe because he's busy in another planet or dimension
This version of god is already inspired by a fan manga, and the fan manga by celestials, so IG you're correct.
I think your final theory of there being 2 god rivals might be the one. The earth one is trying to purge humanity by granting power. The moon one granted Saitama power to prevent this from happening
