I'm a Chinese student who study western and central Asian archaeology, includes Indus valley archaeology, and I didn't start to learn Sanskrit(not yet, and hopefully, one day I would🙏), yet I studied other ancient Indoeuropean languages for years, so I know how difficult (and also intriguing) it is. @ken p Ken P, I saw your comments posted here and replied to the same. You know brother, there is so much misunderstanding, malnutrition, mental-diseases, nepotism, cronyism and poverty in India that almost everyone are fighting over differences instead of concentrating on development. There is high disregard for chronological history of India and myths are prevalent. Not many care about what happened in India since 600AD and more so since 1498AD. Many leaders and bureaucrats just can't think for some reason and say things or do things that are detrimental to India's development. Even political leaders change every five years, but bureaucrats, professors and scientists remain longer and many times the progress in their domains of employment is really slow. However, due to proliferation of digital technologies by Hon'ble PM of India and his Government, Indians are learning world now since last 3 years or so. Hope in few years, Indian people at grass-roots exert similar kind of pressure on Indian Government as common chinese people did on their Government since 1950s. Also, it is time for Indian Government to use similar methods of deception as Chinese Government to crack down on seperatists and corrupt whether those seperatists and corrupt are cunning or just plain stupid. BTW, I am really proud of Samskritam team at DD News as they are making effort to modernize thinking among Samskritam speakers in India.

सारी भाषाओं की जननी? Tamil is the oldest language of the world and there are many words from Tamil found in many languages of India, Asia, Africa etc. That said, I think samskritam has better grammar and rythm compared to most languages on the planet.
Though Samskritam is fine, the literature available is too old and outdated scientifically. Ancient samskritam scriptures may have some fallacies, inaccuracies in research. Those sections/chapters/stanzas must be not be taught as is but must be marked inaccurate logically and/or scientifically. Only when we acknowledge the mistakes and the fallacies of our ancestors, then only we have better chance of progressing in the right path. Also, contemporary Samskritam scholars must write new scriptures, mantras/shlokas in 21st century related to developing indigenous sciences, logic, medicine, surgeries, diseases, technologies, importance of Intellectual property rights and copyrights etc. Scholars need not depend on Government always. Wealthy Devastanams can pool their resources together and write Samskritam scriptures now to modernize India which will be read 100 or 200 or even 2000 years from now and appreciated.

Yours don't even have a scientific alphabets. We have 52 how many you have. Samskrit is known for its vastness in all fields whether be science, literature, linguistic, grammar, music, name it. Only law and arts could be in local languages of India. Also Samskritam is too slow in expressing one's feelings compared to other existing languages of India. That is why Samskritam became extinct because it is difficult and its vocabulary is too less compared to most modern languages of India and even western Europe like English, Spanish, Protugese or French. Even Japanese, Korean and Chinese are more modern and expressive than samskritam. The only use of Samskritam appears to be to understand history and fallacies of our ancestors. Can you please think about Indian students stranded in Ukraine now(Feb 27 2022) insteading of revelling in nostalgic esoteric mythological fantasies?

Eating fish(Omega nutrients) and red meat(brain growth nutrients) from childhood helps grow brain, facial muscles for expression and sustain deeper level of intelligence too. They have same advantage as Japanese, Koreans and Europeans in learning sciences, languages, expressing themselves and maintaining health. Their meat consumption has gone up significantly since last 100 years improving their health, education, economy and scientific endeavors. Corona virus is just a small aberration in history that also appears to help chinese because they are more resilient to viruses because of their food-habits.

@@kalgandikota7075 It seems that intelligence coming from meat is not enough to realise that what you're writing goes both against scientific consensus and just plain common sense.
Just a few facts for you to consider:
On average, vegans and vegetarians are healthier than meat-eaters.
In the developed world, the trend is towards less meat eating, not more.
In the past, people would eat much less meat than nowadays and this is especially true for Ancient Indian scholars and ascetics, yet their intelligence was sufficient enough to memorize and understand all the intricacies of Sanskrit. They didn't need meat for that.
Massive production of meat for a country with such an enormous population as India would lead to an ecological disaster.

@@shinek9247 If we even utter the term China or India, there are places in both countries where people get killed. It’s kind of odd how only one young Chinese woman is allowed to come to India and she learns Samskritam and goes back to China and lives like a free bird there? This is a tricky diplomatic puzzle because we must establish people-to-people contacts like this student exchange program, while on the other hand, Chinese Government is helping Pakistan. As an ordinary citizen of India, only when China at least recognizes India’s Jammu and Kashmir, at least partly in their maps like Americans do, I will agree with you. Otherwise, they are aiming for something bigger and we must be humble yet cautious, compassionate yet wise, impartial yet alert in our judgments when dealing with any foreign country. (I heard in this Vaarthavali episode that Europeans were in Vijayanagara Empire by 13th century. If that was the case, why didn’t India learn from Europe then and become developed country like European countries? Instead, Europeans blame Indians and South East Asians for Bubonic plague during 13th century and we keep singing songs of them all the time.)
This news of Chinese learning Samskritam must come on CGTN news channel and then we must all appreciate that. Otherwise, if an Indian learning ancient texts of China is shown on CGTN news channel, then we may appreciate that also. I can only pray that we get Kautilya back to life to explain us the same issues he faced now in 21st century. We cannot stick our heads in the waters of Ganga for foreign validations. And Indian politicians and media cannot always condemn, boycott, ban etc. something instead of understanding and negotiating with logic. In this regard, everyone in Indian embassies must be given trainings in businesses and technologies every month. And then the Indian embassies/consulates must impart contemporary political and social trainings to all Indian export-import businesses.
Most of the time negotiations (talks, Baatjeet) are dealt as give and take relationships (Trade relationships). This is true especially between two countries incompatible in some discriminatory ideologies like politics, religion, race, culture, language etc. Instead, a need must be created for China and India to support each other socially, culturally, scientifically and economically. At least, India needs politicians who’d at least eat like Chinese and Americans (It’s not that easy I understand). India will definitely grow economically from where it is now. However, India finally getting to an equal economic status with China (or USA) will not happen without social, cultural and scientific reforms. I wish India parallels China in
      1. Economic development (including indigenous software & hardware products)
      2. Social modernization (including Women’s Freedom of Expression)
      3. Political Unity
      4. General Public Unity
      5. Sports & Physical strength
      6. And few other points experts may already know but afraid to speak about those points living in India or elsewhere.
Concluding, though we live at the fag-end of the flat world few thousand miles away in a different time-zone, I am able to express myself here because I have a high-speed internet connection and decently protected in a world’s developed nation. What about those in China and India (living in villages, or the Chills of Himalayas or North East) who do not have electricity and internet? (Especially those in small towns and villages and whose voices are not heard). Progress and Prosperity Always...Where there is no progress and prosperity there is no Peace or there is no Love.
I apologize for saying anything inconvenient. Also due to time constraints, please kindly forgive my Indlish mistakes too! Majority of people in this world reason though they may be afraid to express themselves in public. Let us all humbly meditate and introspect
“Do we, even now in 21st century, depend on foreign countries for vaccines, high-tech gadgets and computers, planes, and weapons or we now vow to, at least take few minutes to explain others the importance of making India most technologically advanced nation and motivate citizens to proselytize/bootstrap indigenous technologies even with little funds?”

exactly that's what is going to happen. Guongdong is where Shenzen is. That's the richest place on Earth now with high-tech industry. These people from there are coming to understand Indian markets to sell their goods and I just hope they won't suppress local high-tech industries like they suppressed me in Silicon Valley, USA for saying India must develop in High-tech industries. This is exactly how Europeans started coming to India few centuries ago.

    • @kalgandikota7075
      @kalgandikota7075 4 года назад +1

@AM Bhat I don't know if you are asking Shubham or myself, my plan is to motivate India also to become most-technologically advanced nation which will ultimately result in similar export-oriented business of China which gives China leverage over almost all countries on planet. Does anyone know 99 percent of all electronics used on this planet have their companies associated with Guongdong(HK, Shenzen)? Internet is at your finger-tips, please research. That power of China is more than USA. China is a crownless Empress of the world now and Indian Government must come up with steps to educate the nation of importance of technologies and bring in social reforms too. Otherwise, why will Chinese Government or the majority of their citizens agree to India's points of view?
I apologize for saying anything inconvenient. I wholeheartedly felt it is my duty as a human being to write here and encourage your critical thinking based on my life’s experiences and research before I lose high-tech communication due to inflicted disabilities and subsequent poverty, and then probably may even die sooner due to you know what and you know who since last 73 years.
With my small brain and Internet, I understand that for the sake of better life, South Asians(including Afghanis, Myanmaris) started experimenting with so many philosophies, parties and religions for ages. However all parties and religions are still stuck in consolidating power in the region even after India’s Independence. (Look at Pakistan and other West Asian countries, with one religion were they able to achieve progress and prosperity on par with nations smaller than them?...Neither they did…nor Indians did!)
“Manpower without unity is not a strength unless it is harmonized and united properly, then it becomes a spiritual power” - Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
How can one harmonize and unite that human power to make India technologically advanced? By human power, I mean man, woman and LGBTQ. I dare you to see far and make an effort to see clear(2020) and envision solutions objectively not leaving the matters of living, life, peace, unity, harmony and integrity to leaders in New Delhi alone. In my view, the two biggest impediments to India’s Governance are Poverty and Mind-set (Social status quo?).
There is difference being poor and being able to empathize with the poor. Some may be rich yet their thinking may be poor. At UN, when someone speaks about “Development”, one thinks only about “economic development”. Thus, the nations of the world are divided based on their economic development as Developed nations, Developing nations, and third-world. If you analyze and observe, the nations that are transitioning from the status of third-world to developing to developed nations have similar ways of life and they do not follow their religions verbatim though they strive to defend the same for political and economic gains. Just upgrading economic reforms and relaxing FDI laws won’t help achieve development. Besides Economic reforms, any nation needs waves of social and cultural reforms in parallel to catch up with China, USA, Japan or other developed nations. Many nations of Africa and colored Asia carrying the weight of their bygone colonial history, had waves of social and cultural reforms pre-independence to unite their peoples against colonial rule. However after Independence, the social and cultural change has been rather slow in those nations. Many nations are still struggling to shake off the colonial mindset being passed on from generation to generation.
Right now, the pathetic state of India is such that almost all Indian politicians, businesses, scientists, professors, army top officials etc. are busy settling their children and relatives in foreign countries. If someone sneezes in Parliament or State Legislatures, they end up in Americas, Singapore or other developed nations. All these politicians and top bureaucrats don’t have any incentive to make India develop indigenously quickly like China because they prefer to cut foreign deals and put the kickback money in foreign banks with their children. China is now able to contain the corona virus while India is still struggling due to this reason.
In colored Asia, Africa and elsewhere, we are debating if leaders/rulers should fulfill their responsibilities or not…while many nations that were poorer than India and Pakistan (Per Capita) like Japan, Germany, SK, Singapore, Taiwan etc. are now leading the world alongside China including North Korea. And China has become the Eastern Hemisphere partner of USA(and Europe?..Europe includes Russia) playing the Great Game of 21 st Century! This truth is bitter and I pray and hope it is swallowed with the same dignity by Political leaders of colored Asia and Africa as a lifesaving medicine.
Buying weapons from the Five Permanent members of UNSC(so called developed nations) and using on people of same races of different discriminatory ideologies is not the solution. By discriminatory ideologies I mean religions, sects, tribes, languages, nationalities, political ideologies, food habits etc. Sometimes we tend to think the members of our communities, religions, castes, tribes, races, languages, gender (including LGBT), parties, nationalities etc. are like us. Like us, they have same principles, ethics and morals. However for most of the time, it looks like not the case with our own countrymen, isn’t it? Hence, whatever faith or other discriminatory ideologies, let’s be united like different colors and designs on a tapestry of a single garment of peace.
It's not possible to understand even our parents or closest kin all the time... But what keeps the bond is love. In love, there is understanding, forgiveness and mutual respect. It brings peace and positive ideas. It's like the sugar that makes a bitter chai sweet. I do not wish nobody hates nobody for the problems though we were at the same level as them when we came out of our mother's wombs (without malice and deceit). I wish you understand my message of peace, love and hope. I am not affiliated with any religion; however I would say everyone who knows what love is and is compassionate towards fellow human beings is born of God. Where there is love and affection among people, they are happy. Everyone who is happy cherishes life. Everyone who comes to know the value of life is for peace. And where there is peace, there is hope for the living. When there is hope, every member of community strives for its prosperity.
Progress and Prosperity Always! Where there is no progress or prosperity, there is no Peace, there is no Love. Don’t we all wish that the happiness and the lights in Gujarat shine into nooks and corners of India in the form of Anthyodaya? Therefore, let us all pray together and beg all Government officials, city leaders, panchayats, engineers, planners, NGO leaders(including religious missionaries), Tribal leaders etc. to plan ahead and not fall behind the disaster/calamity requirements of any region (viruses, floods, earthquakes or droughts, construction, Railways, Airplanes, terror etc.). Hope they are not satisfied just providing for the needs (food, clothing, shelter) of their people. Depending on their will-power/health permitting, for one year, one month, one week or at least one day, hope they live like middle class or a poor person so they realize that even a single life is not just a number in census (Janaganana).
I apologize if I said anything inconvenient. Majority of people in this world reason though they may be afraid to express themselves in public. Let us all humbly meditate and introspect,
“Do we, even now in 21st century, depend on foreign countries for vaccines and test-kits, high-tech gadgets, phones, planes, weapons and their components or we now vow to, at least take few minutes to explain others the importance of making India most technologically advanced nation in the world, sow seeds of hope to motivate them and hand-hold them to proselytize/bootstrap indigenous technologies even with little funds?”
JAI JAWAN! JAI VIGYAN! MAZDOOR MAHAN! JAAGO NOWJAWAN!
Once again, Please kindly forgive me if I said anything incorrect and wrong or hurt anyone’s feelings! I will correct my Indlish mistakes as time permits!
      Satyameva Jayathe, Kal Gandikota

@AM Bhat Dear Sir,/Madame, You see you are talking on others' behalf saying nobody will read my long msg. Please kindly don't worry if others read a long msg or not. Whoever has reading ability, let them read, understand, discuss or debate. Bhagavad Gita in the middle of a war is such a long composition and Arjuna had the listening ability probably because he was eating nutritious food like red meat and fish. May be you could do the same to improve your concentration and reading skills.
