  • Just like the title says. This is a cheap (or free if you already have some old straps and epoxy) way to repair your seat webbing.

Hi, How is the epoxy holding up? Just as good as having them stitched?

Cheap or free is always good for non-safety repairs that nobody will ever see.

I am about ready to redo my drivers seat. Just a thought. Instead of sharping the clips and pushing them
through the straps. It might be easier to take an appropriate size piece of metal rod, wire, what ever and
use a propane torch to heat up the end to burn a hole through the strap. This would be fast and also
singe the strap fabric to prevent it unravelling.

That's a good plan for one side, but pulling the other side tight required the sharp clip on the second side. I didn't find that the material unraveled with the straps I used.

Thanks. Just trying to stem the flow of cash into this car by fixing some less visible things in a cheap (but sound) way. It feels like this might be the most expensive Midget ever at this point. Better not to add it all up and just enjoy.

Great work around and probably saved you at least three hundred Biden Bucks in this economy.
