Please don't let anything happen to all your lovely videos. Someday, you'll grow old together in this wonderful home into which you're currently pouring all your strength. How wonderful it will be to go back and watch yourselves do it all over again, and trigger all these precious memories!
And get a glimpse of themselves thru our eyes 🥰🥰❤️ very eloquently put!!
So glad the cat inspector is still keeping an eye on progress 😊
I’m a cat lover so I get great joy from seeing them in your videos. You are both such hard workers.your hike is going to be stunning. Thankyou for taking us along on your journey. Love from Australia 🦘🇦🇺🦘🇦🇺🦘
Cat inspector inspecting, on coffee break, checking plans with the boss, etc.
First you do the impossible, again, then celebrate with beer. Perfect. Cheers!
I foresee many more video's on this part of your renovation. This video was pure pleasure to watch. Pets, nature, a friend, achievement, and BEER. 👍👍👍
Now, this video has the exact, CORRECT amount of Anneke content! Thank you! 👑🐈⬛✨ 🙏
Why don't you find yourself a cat channel. There are many on RUclips.
Annika is a very diligent inspector.
Moving to another country, learning new languages and alphabets(?) working full time to save up for everyones dream (personal space) adapting to everything and bringing up two children at the same time.
You really deserve those beers! 🍻
Bully Beams!!! Bravo to Illia, Marina, Mighty Helper/ Friend/Neighbor/Relative?, catspector, Trappist Monks' beer, measuring 4x and learning from each and every facet of this restoration/renovation. You guys are unstoppable!!!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
Marina Your editing skills are so good now!! Just like your home you should be so proud of what you two have accomplished !!
Thank you to Oldies lol for helping this massive task of getting beams up. Well done .. let's continue 😅
It warms my heart to see partners and friends coming together to see a long, difficult project make progress. I see you truly enjoying your work together. You don’t give up. You continue to move forward through setbacks without sarcasm and criticism that attacks one another. Bless your future together!
I think your 4-legged Supervisor was impressed with your work 🙃
The Black and White Unit (cat) is always around......probably to assure that the chimney will indeed work and there will be a warm spot for the winter. Loved the video. Thank you!
Take heart Ilya, the mistakes are part of the journey. You will work through them with your ingenuity and tenaciousness. Cheers.
Beautiful country and beautiful home! It will be even better one day. You both work together and make it seem effortless. I know it’s hard work and there’s sore muscles to deal with. I love watching your videos and your teamwork. You are going to have such a beautiful home soon. I am happy that you both have allowed me to be a part of the process.
I wouldn't have thought of using a hoist to bring up the beams. That was a wonderful idea.
Impressive display of beam logistics!
I bet you're glad that's done
The hoist setup worked.
I'm so happy for you.
Zundert is a Dutch border village next to Belgium. It’s also the birthplace of the painter Vincent Van Gogh.
En zo is het!
Ingenious how you got the beams into the attic area. Exciting that now you have started again on the farm house.
Great job you two beams in place thank you Illia and Mariana turffic job great beer explanations thank you for sharing and your time thank you
Kudos to Illia's ramp/winch/leverage contraption-process. It worked startlingly well. Congrats on using your brain power on making it look so easy.
I love how you work hard and take the time to celebrate your accomplishments. 🍻
Good to see you relaxing and tasting beer. 😅
Amazing ! Your ingenuity, process and work ethic are phenomenal.
I am glad to see you continue to sample the various beer from the region. You are so lucky to have access to the best beer in the world, namely Westvleteren #12. That is without a doubt the best Belgian beer I have ever tasted. Also, St. Bernardus gives #12 a run for its money.
Ah, the joy of an old house!!! I know it well. 🙂 But you always succeed in the end, and haven’t lost your playful side. 👍
My husband and I bought the family home from my parents. We can document family use back to 1840. We have the original deeds. No floor is level. No corner is truly square. Each window is a slightly different size. You get the idea. It is our home and we love it.
Illia, The Terminator!
Glad to see you guys had help raising the steel beams! The beer looks delicious.
It’s so hard to be human and make small mistakes 🤣 Thank god you find humor in it as you should! You make me ❤️ happy watching you! One day you’ll be done with it and know that you were one amazing builder and showed the world how to laugh at the small hiccup that life seems to hand us every 17:55 once in awhile. Stay safe and god bless you all❣️
What a beautiful couple.
Good job getting all the steel beams inside. Glad you had help. Always some adjustments Enjoy your well deserved beer. See you next week.
😁Like a well oiled machine…bravo.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
As always another amazing accomplishment.
Thumbs up for Illia model 101! Excellent video and great work with the beams!
C'mon! Terminator 2, of course! Good job with the beams. Actually, good job everywhere in the farm.
Greetings from Oz 🇦🇺…… Love ya work !! ……. Next time we visit Belgium 🇧🇪 (We were there in 2017)…… Who knows?, but we would love to sit down with You Guys and have a few frothies (beers) with You. Cheers 🍻
Good work.
You simply adjust new renovations to the old existing house. Where you can upgrade or change you make it new. Where the old house says no then you must work around it. Just good sense. Jim in Chile.
I now the beers if you drink more than one you will notice it it’s alcohol. But you will not notice the liquorice by this time either. But please don’t look a the tape measure after drinking the beer. I have to say having worked all over Europe all houses before the 50s are all a lot bent or out of true. It’s part of the reason we like them. Happy to see your back on the main house. However summer will come and outside projects will demand attention this is life. Thank you for sharing your adventures😊
A relationship like most married couples….yes indeed. Thank you for being honest. 😁👍
Another great video! So great to watch your projects come together and then to see you relaxing and laughing together with a beer in your hands! The crane has proven to be a great idea. Catspector seems relaxed doing well! Quick question: Was the land that is being cut for hay once part of your farm at some time in the past?
This is a very good video. Thank you.
Ah yes, I remember well the Trappist beers from Belgium. Never had a Trappist beer I didn’t like. There was a Trappist monastery here in Massachusetts that made some for a few years. I found out recently that they had to stop for some reason.
Fun video!! Kudos to your friend for helping.
Fabulous movie reference! Go Arnold….👍🏻
Hope you get to that next step of the project!!!
Skynet applauds your hard work!
Zundert beer, its a nice beer. I lovin it.
That is one strong floor for the attic rooms.
Good job done!! You are on a journey and enjoying all the steps it takes to get there!! And you kitty is definitely enjoying this new life!!❤
The Terminator 2 thumbs up did it for me!!
Excellent videography 😊
This was so entertaining … you are acrobats!
A new beer tasting! I watch to see your renovations... BUT, I have missed the beer tastings.
I miss your beer drinking😊
Wow, Annika was in a lot of frames of the first half of the video. I like beer that is the color and taste of molasses. Whatever nationality. You will need to have a keg of beer when that ceiling is finished!!!
Als een geoliede machine proficiat💪
Yeah! Great system to pull up the beams, and then finally a beer tasting. Cheers!! ❤
Btw the problem with the beams is not your fault, Illja. It was because the catspector was not supervising correctly...😉
Oldie on duty, "I'll be back!"
I will use the Trappisten beer info about Zundert Beer, here in Canada
@09:55 Nice, it's been a while since the last beer tasting session. Love it!👴👌🤗
@14:13 Yesss, I see a new branch of tasting on the horizon: Wine! (accompanied maybe by cheese?).👴😁🤗
Good day you beautiful couple from south africa. Wonderful work ❤❤🎉
Thank you 👍
Marina, loved your History lesson on the Trapist Brewery.
Three iron beams upstairs and work on positioning them. Good job.
What an excellent BOSSLADY she is 😄 Her presence must do a lot to boost moral on the jobsite. She even sits down and has a beer after all the hard work is done. You guys are making wonderful progress. What a lovely couple 😍....... I mostly watch because of the cat tho 😸
smooth!
Terminator, thumbs up :)
Regards from Sweden.
Ahhh, yes, I have been waiting for another Tasting. Salute'
perfect use of a hammer!
It must be something of a relief to get those great heavy metal beams into their proper places . Watching you organize massive enterprises without the assistance of cranes and so on is very interesting and makes me wonder if you might be genetically connected to those fellows who built the pyramids.Yet again, very well done❤
You did not ask Madam Inspector for your measurements, never do it again ;-)
I like your videos, so enjoyable watching the two of you work together. If you can, watch Escape to rural France. Dan has been placing steel beams also, you may find some ideas to help you.
I understand the 'oldie' reference. Not sure if I'm happy though 😂
Always great videos to watch. Except for that there way way too short. They all should be no less than 30 minutes.
Best outro ever. You two are funny.
It is amazing that you are doing such a difficult job as installing those beams by yourself. Great job!
Cheers with a Leffe bruin.
Marina keeps the tradition going, many crane operators in Ukraine and other East European countries used to be women as they are more precise and careful as men 👍
Who is the man that helped you get the I beams up and somewhat inplace. Love watching you guys and the inspector cat.
Terminator 2 reference, lol😁👍, just watched it again the other day! best action movie ever!
I think that was a genius engineering solution for getting those beams in place. Are you a professional engineer?
Nice ode to the Terminator there Ilia!
i´ll be back
Zundert is though stuff ! After that, you should not try to build a straight wall........but but that means nothing in an old House....😉
Old houses can be renovated many times and make more diffycult.
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you all guys, good work 👍😁💪👌👏👏👏
Cheers 🍻 NC USA
Cheers 👍
You should never have the I beams as a secondary beam. You should take out the ones that’s go across and put in the I beams there. Never lay I beams on wood.
