He makes every type of pass. Tips, no looks, full court bombs, I've never enjoyed watching someone pass so much. You can put him on any team and they'd be instantly better. His style of play is my favorite type.

@@chasejordan9295 I love him too but we've seen that archetype before. He also is a much more flashy passer and does a lot of his best work off the pick and roll. Jokic is doing it as an un-agile 7 footer. His passing isn't as sexy as as White's but its more diverse and savant-like. Take the game winner against Portland. As he gets doubled he gestures for Gordon to cut cuz he knows the backside defender has to respect that for a second giving him the extra foot of space he wanted to make the no look cross court pass over the defender perfectly into the shooter's chest. I love white chocolate and a lot of other amazing passer but Jokic is the first one that isn't in the point forward or point guard mold so that is fascinating to me

This guy is like a modern day 7ft, Larry Bird on offence, he's such a crafty post player, knows exactly how to draw the defence in and find his teammates, he hits these crazy jump shots. He's so fun to watch

Jokic deserves MVP. Embiid & Steph had tremendous seasons but this man The Joker is just The Man. I never seen anyone in my almost 30 years of watching pro ball play games as a "Point-Center". He is a 7 footer born with point guard skills and mentality. He averaged over 8 assists per game. That's wild for a center. Definitely deserves the MVP.
Arvydas Sabonis is about the closest i can remember...was a beast in his prime, before the fall of the soviet union and his finally making it to the NBA.

If I had to describe Nikola's game with one word it would be beautiful. NBA needed a player like him, a true unicorn. I hope he wins MVP this year.

When you watch a centers highlights it's usually about how they destroy people under the rim dunking over everyone. But not with this guy, most of his highlights are those sweet sweet assist. His game are going to last for a long time cause he doesn't rely much on athletism.

No. Joker is a TEAM player. Luka is a 1 on 1/2/3 player who puts his teammates, and me, to sleep. If you like watching Luka dribble-dribble-dribble into a crowd & making superhuman shots, fine. But not for me.

As a Serbian, I am so proud to say that this amazing player, this basketball ace (or joker if you like it more😁), this highly skilled and one of the most intelligent basketball players that NBA and Serbia ever had, this astonishing and yet humble guy, is the best player in the NBA in this season!
It truly is a deserved award because it is a victory not only for Nikola, his family and team but to all Serban people and to all basketball fans in general. It is a win for one of "us", "normal" guys. To watch someone, who can play at an All Star game and at the same time be the same person with whom you can make jokes and go out on a beer or two later, feels great!
To the NBA MVP Nikola Jokic (it does sound great) I say: What do you get when you play basketball the way no one else ever did, when you break all the patterns and become part of basketball's history? YOU GET WHAT YOU F****N DESERVE!🃏 (I am sorry but I had to make that refference😁)

I agree... Murray averages like 25+ a game. That's a lot of points to make up for in a potential 7 game series
i love the Nuggets team. But without Murray, it's just a "good team". So if Nuggets beat the healthy Blazers, Jokic (or MPJ) is crazy.
Murray, Barton & Dozier are injured. That is 2nd best & 4th best player on the team & a key bench player.
Denver still has good chances, but Jokic has to play at least 40 minutes per game & Malone has to start Cancar instead of Rivers.
Cancar is one of best 1vs1 defenders on Nuggets plus he is 6 foot 9 at 240 pounds. He moves exceptionally well & puts a solid effort on defense. Plus he can shoot 3's, score in the paint, and rebound.
Rivers lacks a lot on perimeter defense & he is often out of position, at which point he gives up. He cannot fight through screens & Lillard is having a field day with Rivers on him.
Starting Rivers along side Campazzo gives Blazers serious size advantage.
Blazers will continue to attack through this weak point as long as Denver coaches allow it.
He’s pretty special.

IDK why but passing is my favorite thing to watch in the nba when someone is a master at it. Jokic, Magic, Ben Simmons (he's good at it, no matter what people say).
