I don't know how anyone could "dislike" this video, cool progression from acquisition to full restoration. Really good job.

Quick question where did you source the rebuild kit and was it aftermarket? Remember the brand by any chance? I've seen some cheap china stuff going around lately. From what I could tell your rings where RIK which are pretty good

Nice video that gives enough info on the work involved. It showed me that the 755 is nothing like my 750 at all. Nice tractor for sure but no comparison. The 755 with the hydrostat is going to be much nicer, faster to operate but not as heavy duty as the 750. Can't believe my 750 is 37 years old already. You have a nice tractor and hope you keep it. Any problems after doing all that work and money? Did you repair or replace the hood? Also is the motor supposed to bounce around that much on the rubber mounts?

Hi I repaired the hood with fibre glass The motor was bouncing around because it had not enough fuel After it cleared up it was running great

The 755 is deff heavy duty compared to todays tractors, the 1025r is more hp then the 755 and same cat three point but is deff less of a build quality

This video is very helpful! Thank you. I have just revived a 1987 755 that had been rotting in a field for 3-4 years. I rebuilt the injection pump and the injectors, cleaned the fuel tank, and it fired right up. The problem, though, after running great for the first 3 cranks with very minimal blow by from the valve cover breather tube, it now is full blue smoke from the exhaust, and where all 3 cylinders had acceptable compression, #1 now does not. I suppose the stress of running after sitting for a long time, resulted in the rings failing. So I need to do a ring job, maybe new pistons? I see that you bought the full yanmar 3TNA72 rebuild kit, but it doesn't look like you replaced the front or rear main seals. Correct? I am trying to decide if I need to buy the whole kit, or if I can get by with just replacing the rings. What pushed you to buy the whole kit? Thanks for your help.

Thank you Yes I did not replace the front and rear main seals They were not leaking. And I think it’s better to buy the whole kit because When your take apart the engine while you’re in it ma might as well do everything And it’s not too expensive I think 500$ on eBay

Hello, I have another quick question for you. I haven't gotten into my 3TNA72 yet, so I am not sure if it has been rebuilt before and if it has cylinder sleeves or not. I noticed that it didn't look like yours had sleeves and you just honed out the cylinders. I am assuming that you only really deglazed the walls so that you didn't have to use over-sized pistons and rings. Is that right? Thanks for your help.

Yes that’s right we only decked de walls
