- Last week's wedding was pure wedding magic for so many reasons. Bride wore an extraordinary pink haute couture wedding dress , and had the most touching bridal wedding entrance . Celebrity singers Ragheb Alamah and Joe Ashkar live performed making this night an unforgettable one.

It is an amazing dress! Most amazingly the bride was able to walk and carried through the occasion! If I had a world famous designer father in law offering to make me the the most stunning dress for my big day, I would be so thrilled! It is not the money only but the thought, effort, willingness to create a masterpiece for his son's bride as a present (?) I think that ought to be celebrated.

I married at the air force Chapel and had on a simple white sheath with a little white hat with net..it was the happiness day of my life.That was 51 years ago. And my husband and I are more in love than we thought possible.

I don't think people that complain are jealous I just think they hold a different cultural ethic. If people are very rich and they want to create a big spectacle about their wedding, and make a production that is very over-the-top and elaborate, of course they have the right to do that, and it's beautiful to watch these things. Just that others feel they would want to be more humble and just focus on the love in a tender way, perhaps give the rest of the money to the poor or a cause they believe in. Some people get married on a mountain top because they feel there could be no greater beauty then the nature that surrounds them. Everyone has different taste. Is one right and the other wrong? That gets very complicated, depends what moral code you follow.

My fiancé and I are older and we had the wedding of our dreams in a Cathedral that was so majestic it took everyone’s breathe away. We celebrated our 6th anniversary yesterday. Our regular church could not accommodate us, and miraculously the Cathedral had an opening. So I then knew I needed a LONG train.

The dress was either too long or it was getting caught by the carpet. They should have had a dress rehearsal for the bride to see how the walk would go. Then they could have hemmed the dress a bit. Wedding was jaw dropping.

I don't think it had anything to do with not practicing....look at it!!!! I bet it weighed almost as much, if not more....than she did!!!!
Of course there have been several dress rehearsals for the bride to see how the walk would go... bur during all rehearsals she was wearing 6-inch platform shoes (I know as I was one of the dressmakers in charge of the fittings), hence the dress' important length at the front. The dress rehearsals went well, but on the big day she tripped because of her impractical footwear and fell backstage a few minutes before her grand entrance. She decided to wear low shoes instead, and unfortunately it was too late to hem the dress.
