Something I just thought of! Remember how KAY/O says he's surprised Sage is a healer in our timeline and not the ungodly weapon she was in the Radiant Wars universe? We see Omega Earth's Sage go OFF in this cinematic really really wanting to be seen as a fierce warrior and not just a healer, given the quote in her locker. Perhaps this is the beginning stages of the "weapon" KAY/O refers to Sage in The Radiant Wars? Thoughts?

This could just be speculation, but I think Omen sensed when sage got hurt, and that disturbance in his focus caused him to cut off a huge chunk of his bonsai tree. They’re incredibly delicate and take a lot of focus and patience to tend, and a cut that large could have damaged the tree irreparably. The pain she felt could have thrown off his focus entirely.
i think he actually sensed when sage was healing herself. bc of that like omen has like “that life you give, do you know where comes from?” (something like that) and bc omen was revived by sage he probably is more in tune with whatever power gives sage her healing

this is exactly what i thought of when i saw it. he can apparently sense people's feelings as he states in his voicelines , fears , warith and laughter, and panic, he can "smell" it. and if he's the one telling Sage to calm down at 10:19 , she must be holding a strong grude against something or someone.

One thing I wanted to point out is. When sage healed herself, omen realized she was in trouble because we know that omen can sense the unbalance of the forces when sage heals or brings someone back to life.
Is that why he's called omen?

One thing you missed: if the Legion lockers are 07, skipping 08 and the locker next to Sage's is 09, that means Sage opened locker number 10 in the Legion HQ, which means the agent recruit orders are different between Legion and Protocol. If the recruitment order is the same, Sage would've opened locker 07 instead.

@@thezestylime13 my bet is it's chamber from what i've gathered of the previous breakdown it could be that omega chamber knows a lot more then alpha chamber does and that would explain if he's part of the valorant protocol from an early start. also it could be that there is no key/o on omega earth. so it could be done to balance the numbers out.

@@TimeSpy415 well think about it, a sage wall is expensive af and they keep making the fortification time longer, they made the slow orb slow less, and now even the self heal can't even survive one vandal shot.

4:34 I think it's supposed to be a note from KJ because of the X at the bottom right, since it's the same as on her jacket. Also "Roboter" is robot in german, so it would be Robotercode. Which makes sense since KJ created Maxbot

I counted sages bullets, first scene she shoots 28 bullets, when we cut back to omen I think she shoots 2 more. After we cut to sage we see her reload, really cool continuation from animators!

I think it is all 1 sequence before they decide to split it for the cinematic's final cut? maybe that's why it is easy to keep that detail clean

I love the addition of Omen in this because, while it’s not the main focus, we can see his personality come to life. In this, he see his humanity that we all know him to have that he constantly refuses to believe he still has. Omen is a tortured soul and Sage (both Alpha and Omega) deeply care about him. For instance, a Sage would say about an enemy Omen “Their Omen. I wonder if he’s anything like our’s. Poor soul.”

6:25 I think Fade's mission was to locate the new map which is shown on the screen, even if Omega agents found the City of Flowers, they had to unlock which only Harbor can unlock it, I think the reason Omega agents were there first was due to Harbor and Astra lost conscious in the sea for some time

Omen enjoys knitting and now taking care of bonsai trees, both activities known to be therapeutic, and even says that knitting helps him focus. so i really like that detail in his personality
Also tending Bonsai trees takes a lot of hand precision, which lends support to the theories that he was a doctor, maybe a surgeon?
seeing how strong fade is is just a confirmation of what we already knew, given how she singlehandedly revealed secrets of the agents and how she won a 1v5 as we saw in her trailer, the protocol is extrimely lucky he is by their side

i feel like the relationship between sage and omen is just amazing. i remember viper hating sage for not being able to revive omen completely after he died, this whole scene between them shows that omen holds no grudge against her whatsoever

Another important detail was when you said “sage wants to be on the front lines” they put her towards the front for first engagement as she wants to be more then a healer and placed in the back for “protection” in 12:26

I hadn’t noticed they were the omega agents and I was so happy just watching them living their lives and showing off. The moment realizing which side they were on, I’m struggling to see them as the enemy. Anyone else feel the same or am I just weird lol

Well, i think you're not weird. "Enemies" Is just a matter of perspective. For Omega earth, we are the enemies. But for Alpha, we can see that Omega is the enemies.

@@AlwaysaFangirl To be honest, I still confuse about Omega earth motive. In the Episode 5 first cinematic, we can see that Omega earth stole radianite to survive. I agree with the terorizing part you say. But, we haven't know much either about our Valorant protocol? But i think we're to focusing between Protocol and Legion and forgot the real person behind them. It's Kingdom. Somehow, I have a feeling that both Kingdom of Alpha and Omega earth have some bad intentions.
My biggest complaint about the cinematic is we don’t see Astra’s powers, she is the only one who’s abilities might not work exactly like they do in the game
I think this cinematic also disproves the theory that the imposter Raze was the one that was dating Killjoy. We saw them both dating together and going together when they were called for the mission. Unless Raze is SUPER SLEEPER agent I think this shows that the couple are on the same side.
Golden eye shadow is actually a nice cultural touch 👌. It's usually for weddings but she looks so cool
I kinda hate how skye is missing after her amazing audio from 2 weeks ago, but my boy Omen finally got an amazing showcase of his power
during the premiere, we heard the entire audio all over again before the cinematic played :D

I WATCHED THE LIVE AND IT WAS SO FKING GOOD. The music was just so perfect, the animations never fail me, and the twist at the ending holy. I love how we were thought to believe that all the characters shown were from the val protocol, until the end when fade initiated contact with the team when I realised the profiles were just like the ones in cinematic 5 and that all the characters except harbour and Astra were from the valorant legion, and at the end when they showed up to fight Astra and harbour gave me the chills. Although there wasn't any conversations between the agents, this cinematic is still awesome af. Also, great to see Omen in this cinematic! I loved the ability he used. I rewatched the cinematic again, and I noticed the screen near Omen showed legion as well. Missed out on that one.
If the Kayo on Omega sees sage as more of a fighter, does that the omega radiant wars sage was a healer, just like how alpha was the opposite?
What if agent 8 exist in all universes, just like how marvel has a nexus being?
One more thing i realised is at the bottom of every red text, there's a omega symbol as well.

Going back to Omen's Lore, the frustration of Sage might have come from the day Omen almost died in point light, she tried to save him but failed to fully resurrect him, that not only caused Viper to resent her, but Sage also resents herself for failing to do the one thing she knows well "Being a Healer". This event is essentially a PTSD she's carrying with herself and she wants to move away from that by becoming a warrior that cannot just heal.

A interesting comment I found in the original video, was that the way Omen notices something was wrong with Sage was the moment when Sage started healing herself.
"The life you give, have you wondered where it's taken from?" Omen senses the taking away of life energy that Sage wields and that's how he figures out that he should help her. Possibly also wanting her to stop using her healing powers at the moment, because he seems aversive towards Sage's "life powers".
This is actually so interesting, because someone mentioned that the way he snipped the tree could actually be dangerous for it (at least that specimen), and that the action of completely slicing off that branch was not intentional and was likely a reaction, after reading this, to her healing herself. I wonder if she almost... takes the health from omen? I'm so curious as to how he would sense it, perhaps they are just connected on a deeper level based off the events that created Omen.

The extent of Fade and Omen's powers are so scary to think about. Think about it. If the Fade in Alpha world wanted the team who captured her dead, she could've done serious damage, probably kill some of the agents. Instead, she chose to use her powers as distractions for her to escape. Of course, no Radiant is a match against Kayo's suppression. Hahaha
I like that Omen reacts to Sage healing herself and not her getting shot. It is consistent with the fact that Omen is aware of when Sage uses her powers. So when Omen sensed Sage healing, he knew something was wrong.
i think the bodyguards might belong to Harbors ex organization, since theyre specialized in secret locations and artifacts, and she later uploads its location to her teammates. Adding to this also the fact that Harbors artifact was a necessary key for opening the city, hence another linking factor.
Hey Jeppy, at first nice Video, love the content you putting out for the lore community in Valorant, keep on doing that ;D
1. Its amazing how Riot managed to combine the visuals with the audios. At 2:17 (in the original cinematic) the vocals are directly connected to Omen and Sage, at least you could interpret it that way.
EaJ is singing "And know there is nothing"..."To keep me back from you", and then Omen is epically walking in, to clutch the moment xD For real, if you wanna translate it and connect the Lyrics to the Scene in this specific time stamp. "There is nothing holding Omen back, to keep him back from Sage" (at least, when its really important). So as we already know, that there are probably several connetions between Sage and Omen, but I think there is even more. And I cannot wait to explore the Valorant lore even further, specifically Omens.
2. You mentioned in your video its interesting that Omen is interested in plants etc., but to see that Omen is specifically taking care of a Bonsai-Tree is just brilliant. It just make sense.
The Bonsai-Tree is historically/originally coming from china and the Bonsai-Tree is representing the "harmony between different natural-Elements".
- The "living Nature" is represented by the Tree (Sage?)
- Stones and gravel are representing the power or force of nature (Sage again?)
- And the bowl is representing humans in form of their own work -the bowl itself- (Omen?)
Maybe its important to notice, thats Omen was not directly misscutting the Bonsai Tree, in this Art you need to cut off any outstanding parts, but its interesting to see how at first carefully and slowly he was doing it, and as Sage was getting more and more in trouble he "slipped" a little bit with the scissors. Just a sidenote.
3. Maybe Riot just want to show us an epic breach into the Battlefield fromk Omen or it could be directly connected to his immortal life. I think its possible that Omen is really somehow immmortal or at least he cannot die, cause hes is comming back again and again. As Sage was in trouble Omen was throwing his Paranoia and combined it with a smoke, afterwards he teleports (I think that was not his Ult) into the Smoke and checked/took a look at Sage, while he was just standing there.
I know both were covered in the Smoke, but even then, Sage was behind cover, cause she couldnt take more shots (the bots probably still know where she was, cause they saw her before she was covered) and even if you wanna argue that the bots couldnt know and see Omen, cause he teleported like a ninja...he was still standing there without caring getting blindfired. I mean his smoke is not wall. This shows that Omen really can take things differently I think, doesnt he?
4. Its not Robot-ER-Code, this is just german for "Robotcode" xD
Dont forget Raze AND Killjoy worked together on Maxbot, so my lazy german comerade KJ just didnt want to write down a fully understandable (english) sticky note, cause somehow Riot always is giving her hints to remember us, that she is german hehe xD.
I dont know for what this code is really for, but maybe they implemented a code to shutdown the Maxbot, just in case their Sova is missing his Flickshot xD.
5. Sage is using the Recon Weapons (Phantom and Butterfly), most of you prabably notices it.
6. Its curious that every Legion agent was hooked up for the mission on Lotus, except for Omen. Why tho?
In our Alpha Protocoll, all agents are hidden from public ok. But Omegas Omen has his own comics (Playercard), so its not cause Omen needs to be hidden, because he is looking way different, it needs to be something else, why he is and was not included in every mission on both worlds so far!? And please dont tell me, its because both Omens are just taking care of their plants every time xD
I mean whis his abilitys, hes one of the best agents to infiltrate and exit missions...teleporting in-no problem, covering in his shadows-no problem, blinding enemys if he needs to-no problem and exit with his UIt without getting caught-no problem. And yea I know dramawise, Omen would be to easy to tell a story with, when we are talking about "missions", but come on how often do we need to hear Phoenix calling out "I got this" xD
Whatever, I think Omen is taking a way bigger Role in Valorants lore, but we need to wait until we get to the point, where Omen is not just plantsitting in the HQ (and being Gigachad in the Shotrange/Trainarea).

I love the meaningfulness of sage saving Omen and Omen giving her the nod and hand on shoulder.
Its such a nice dynamic to show Omen isnt upset with sage for not being able to help him when he was in the blast.

This cinematic confirmed that Recon skin line actually does count in Valorant main canon. (probably on omega only) Also imagine we got agent cosmetic, Sage with her tactical vest would be badass.
Honestly, I thought that the guys that were after Fade have something to do with the "artifact hunters(?)" that Harbor was betrayed by, that's why one of them had the map of the City of Flowers. Perhaps Fade was supposed to get the location of the city so that Omega Harbor and Omega Astra would get there before the Alpha's do, but they were too late?
ahhhhh you know what that does sound pretty plausible!!! They didn't look like the typical REALM op's we've seen so far but perhaps they were just out of uniform for the night out at the club!
I'm still wondering who Omega Fade is searching for. If Alpha Fade thought Omega took her precious person. who took Omega Fade's?
@@sckaze777 Exactly!! Perhaps, we'll just have to wait and see. Perhaps Omega Fade isn't searching for anyone and she's just another radiant agent willingly working for the Valorant legion?
@@SirJeppy The issue with that is that on Jett's phone it says that they detected Astra and Harbor, and it wouldn't really make sense for the people Fade fought to have that Intel, maybe they're Kingdom Corporation agents and Fade was actually doing work in Alpha Earth? Maybe Omega Earth's Valorant already knew about the new area (considering Astra and Harbor had to go through a lot to get in and when they made it in the others were already inside) and they've been using that to store most of the Radianite that they steal from Alpha Earth, and so in this map Alpha Earth will be working to take it back? There are so many possibilities

Just like knitting, maintaining bonsai trees helps Omen focus.
I tell this because when sage goes down Omen loses focus and thus ends up cutting the whole branch.

Everytime I watched the cinematics I was like why are there clones and why when Astra and Harbor entered The City of flowers other Agents were waiting for them and pointing guns at them. Thanks to you I got pulled in to the VALORANT lore and I'm super excited everytime there's a new video about the lore! Thank you for showing me this game's lore in a fun way not just the read a text way

I left a similar comment on the original cinematic, but Omen knew sage was in trouble because she used her power to heal herself. We can see he accidentally snips off the whole bonsai’s branch around the time sage is shot and heals herself, and he turns around not long after. This might mean that accident with the branch was a result of sage using her power, causing an “imbalance”
if you remember when omen was first added it was sage that had to bring him back so maybe he is still connected to sage.
I guess that should be "Valorant Legion" HQ instead of "Valorant Protocol" HQ at 2:02 since this is in Omega Earth. (btw I learnt from you)
So here are some thoughts: the guys fade is hunting there are from RELM or REALM, they want to catch harbor ( which he said in his trailer) and fade is there for the info of the positions from that artifact ( maybe chamber told his double about the mission or Relm was working with omega). and omen cutting the bonsai, may be a reference to the old code name of split and riot showing us that split will be changed here and there
I think Riot confirme that REALM doesn't exist on Omega in an AMA/QnA
SirJeppy! Gotta say something. Maybe in the Valorant Legion on Omega Earth agent's numbers are changed as well? Sage opens locker number 10 and it is her locker, with her gun and stuff. But, isn't Jett agent 10? Sage is supposed to be agent 7. Why is she assigned to number 10?

Makes sense. Omega Valorant had portals earlier than Alpha Valorant, which means they probably recruited Neon and/or Chamber earlier than Alpha
That's a good breakdown BUT you forgot to mention that the phantom that sage is using when practicing, is a recon Phantom, and also the knife she uses to decapitate the droid/robot, was the recon Balisong.

It's possible that the training bots have been using live rounds this whole time but since Sage isn't really on the frontlines and they see her as just a healer, she doesn't train with the bots often, much less alone, so if they die during training Sage can just res them. Just a thought

The bad guys in the club with Fade could be the same as the ones in the sound track with Skye from the training area
THEY MIND AS WELL TURN VALORANT INTO A SERIES AT THIS POINT CUZ ID BINGEWATCH SO QUICKLY😭
i believe the men fade was fighting was realm agends cause they were also looking for the city and we know they had troops on the ground around there and the location of it.
At first I didn't think the '8' locker missing meant anything other than differentiating the two realities, but I realized that their current Valorant HQ could've been built after the disappearance of their Agent 08, or their old HQ was replaced with the one we see in the cinematic, or they just eventually removed the locker. Another idea I have is that they removed the locker because they know how the agent died, while the other Valorant scratched the number off and took out the panel because they think the agent was a coward and ran away.

I thought you would be the first to see it. Remember the peole that harbor was working with to collect artifects? He betrayed them after he got his relic. Who told the VP about who harbor is? Fade. She had contacts with them and was able to interfere with their missions. They also warned VP to not interfere in their matter, but they did anyways. So what if, they found out who leaked the information (fade) and went after her. Fade found the information about Lotus(new map) from those guys. So it would make sense why they wanted that artifect harbor has. That to me implies that they knew about the city of flowers from the beginning.
I think the agents that were called in the mission might be the best agents to play on the new map. When Sage fought in valorant HQ, it would be nice if there would be a new game mode where you have to try to survive as long as possible in solo or more and that there are different levels of difficulty. Saw a small detail that Sage used a recon Phantom and that in one scene she shot 1 bullet and it was 1 shot. It could also have been that she did some damage to it so that the bott was 1 shot and how do the robots have blod?

A little detail I noticed is that Sage uses the Recon Phantom and Ballisong in the cinematic. I don't know if it brings anything of meaning to it but I thought it was worth mentioning

the scenes where omen cuts the bonsai tree is actually a reference to riot reworking Split
4:43The robot with the er at the end so Roboter is basically robot in German so it's probably a letter from kJ to sage
Complete guessing here, but maybe what omen sensed wasnt actually sage being damaged and actually he sensed alpha harbor and astra, this could be why in 9:02 is the only dynamic transition in the cinematic, going throught his “eye” and he went to help sage just to finish the training as fast as possible so that she could call an operation, as shown in the past (at least in alpha earth) sage and brimstone are some sort of leaders and when omen puts his hand on her shoulder he is telling what he sensed or saw and thats how they know harbor and astra are in omega earth and where they are
Because of ur last video with Skye's voiceline, we know that Skye is there but had to deal with some opponents in the jungle and is now heading over to catch up with Astra and Harbor, but it only made me feel a little better about how they were going to get out of that😅 Especially with Valorant also dropping another video with more on what happened after this, but I'm sure ur on it. So excited to see ur take on it because after watching it idk what the Alpha team's gonna do
The first person Fade uses her powers on looks like the guy with REALM who tried to kill Harbor when they first found his artifact.

This might be completely off, but the detail of omen carefully snipping at the bonsai might be a reference to how Riot has been slowly and carefully reworking split. Some bonsais and similar trees can be found on split, but idrk if this is really what they meant. Also if it is a reference to split, the part at the end where omen lost focus and accidentally chopped of the whole bonsai branch has me worried…

It's referring to the statues in defender spawn in Pearl.
The « bad guys » Fade fought are probably realms’ (the organization that betrayed harbor) or black market people mentioned in his story.
Omen mentioned that her powers are taking a toll to Sage. Some theories were that when she is healing or resing, she was influencing karma around the world. Maybe it’s taking a toll on herself somehow, hence why in the far future where kayo is from she is only a weapon. That would thematically make sense seeing how that story arc is about Omen and Sage. One already torn apart and one on the verge of being torn apart, giving Omen’s shoulder pat another meaning.
Notice how the lock had been activated by Astra before Harbor put his hand in the lock. Only Astra could have opened it anyway because of her guardian’s power.
On a sidenote, what are Omega´s Astra and Harbor doing? Harbor should have gone to Lotus before joining Valorant (as Alpha Harbor did but on alpha earth where lotus was destroyed) he couldn’t open it because Astra wasn’t with him. Maybe he joined valorant legion after valorant protocol? Or just was busy with stuff?
I heard somewhere that the Russian Spetsnaz special forces train with live rounds on each other so 10:45 is kinda realistic. I guess if you want to train the best of the best you need the closest thing to a real-world scenario.

Hey jeppy I noticed something interesting about the spike in game. The in-game model of the spike has a Kingdom Corp logo on it. This would only be low accurate in Pearl, because in all other maps Omega Earth is the one who plants.

The attention to detail is amazing even while astra and harbor were at the lost city of flowers(lotus) the agents there are an actual playable team come with 2 duelists( jett raze) 1 initiator (fade) and 2 sentinels (kj sage)

Just wanted to say that you should remember that skye is there as well.
She has to catch up with Astra and Harbor to help them accomplish their mission.
Im suprise people didn't notice the huge legion logo beside omen when the lights turn on.
The Map has 3 sites as we can see in 11:22. There are 3 dots sticking out of the map and I think it indicates the 3 sites of the map. So, this is the second map after Haven to have 3 sites.
The animation is top notch, compare Sage from this cinematic to the warm up cinematic,.very different!
